AA Best Appliance Service

On time; was able to clean and service dishwasher. The Sears repair person we had look at it a while ago said we needed to replace the entire motor, so AA Best Appliance saved us a lot of money. They also made some basic maintenance suggestions re: the dryer, and it's been working just fine.

Excellent. Ivan was the name of the man who served us. Called him one day and he quickly responded. Seemed knowledgeable about the various brands of dryers. He came promptly the next morning. Very nice fellow and the kind who gets right to work. Cleaned the entire machine in approximately 30 minutes and it greatly improved its performance. The company is located nearby and given the terrible traffic situation in Chicago, I focus on hiring nearby quality companies.

I diagnosed the problem as a bad thermostat. Ivan immediately diagnosed the problem as a bad ice maker. That is why you hire people who know what they are doing. He took the model number, ordered the part, and was back in two days. Ivan and his assistant quickly and efficiently replaced the ice maker and it is working fine. The only issue I had was when the bill came I mentioned that Angies List showed that there was a 10% Senior Citizen discount. He offered a discount far less than 10% which I negotiated to about 7%. Still not the full discount. If you offer 10% off you should give 10% off.

Our dryer had suffered from a cascade of failures which were caused by the vent hose becoming disconnected inside. This lead to a burning smell and near failure of the main motor, which would have been very expensive to replace. Ivan went above in beyond in restoring the dryer to good working order and was able to bring the motor back to life, so we didn't have to buy a new one. He also reconnected the vent hose in such a way that it can't come loose again.

I called AA Best Appliance Service to make an appointment the other day. The guy that answered the phone was nice and polite. Ivan showed up today earlier than scheduled and checked out the refrigerator. After spending a few minutes checking it out, he was honest to say that it is something that he cannot service. He was very nice and easy to talk to. He also didn't charge me for the trip charge since there was nothing he can do with the refrigerator. Based on my initial contact with them, I will definitely keep them on my contact list for future needs.

I was very happy with the service. I called to schedule an appointment yesterday and Ivan and his son Chaz (apprentice) arrived today as scheduled. Ivan was able to diagnose the problem and fix it on the spot. He did not limit his analysis to the machine itself, but also paid attention to the way it was vented, and was able to make repairs/adjustments to both and give me tips/pointers to ensure that the dryer would work well going forward. I could not be more pleased. Especially, since this is the second contractor to attempt the repair; I had originally filed a claim through my home warranty and the contractor they sent said it could not be fixed (and the home warranty refused to send another contractor or replace the machine). I would not hesitate to call AA Best Appliance Service again.

Oven was giving out to much gas. Ivan knew what to look at right away and fixed it in 10 minutes. He even had the part that it needed with him.

One of my tenants had a malfunctioning refrigerator. Ivan called me the morning after I sent him an email, and went to perform the repair the same day. He was very polite and even gave my tenant some pointers on how to keep the fridge running smoothly. Will definitely use these guys again. A++ service.

Horrible experience. I hired these guys to fix an appliance for a tenant and the agreement was that I would pay them electronically after the job was done. They were suppose to text me the payment option and never did. I missed their call and called back about 30 minutes later only to find out that they threatened my tenant and refused to leave the property. The bill was little over $100 and it is disappointing to see what is suppose to be a reputable business go so far. It is just not right to threaten someone. When I called back, I was also met with a rude, angry owner who made no acknowledgement that the situation was uncalled for and certainly no apology. Regardless of whether they are good at their jobs, this is not a good business. Very disappointed in the experience.

Ivan was fantastic. Called him at 8:00, he said he'd be available between 11:00 and 1:00. He called me 15 minutes before he arrived so I could meet him. He quickly diagnosed the problems with my fridge, had the necessary parts with him and completed the work in less than 30 minutes. He cleaned up everything and was on his way. Just what I was looking for on a very busy day for me.

Great. Ivan was quick, professional and thorough. It took about 1 hour to fix as our fridge is fairly complicated. He has 30+ years of experience at it shows. He arrived early and cleaned everything up when he left. Additionally we cleaned up the inlet vent of dust and dog hair to prevent future issues.

Outstanding service at a great price was my experience with AA Best. Ivan provided all of the service at my house answering a number of questions about a variety of appliances in my home and recommending the best course of action. He was honest about what items needed service, what didn't. I will be using AA Best in the future and definitely recommending them.

Ivan knows appliances and continues to repair various appliances ... we believe in fixing the existing instead of buying a new one. This time it was a dishwasher repair which he troubleshooted very quickly. Total professional and very polite.

I watched Ivan do the work and asked lots of questions which he answered. He worked fast/ He only charged me for the home visit charge ($69) and the cost of the igniter. He is very knowledgeable and honest. I am glad to have a repair man who I can talk with and gives very clear answers.

The serviceman was prompt, courteous, and did a great job with a dryer that was hard to work on because of an earlier service provider's mistakes. I am very, very happy with AA Best Appliance and will call them again.

Ivan was great, made the appointment the day before, he showed up promptly, resolved the problem in short order and helped with another project because he finished earlier. I would highly recommend him .

I called AA this morning when I noticed there was a problem. Ivan returned my call promptly and scheduled a call between 1 and 3 PM. He was there on time--and not only performed the work but went above and beyond, putting the food back in the refrigerator. I so appreciated the same day service and his price was very reasonable for the amount of time he spent and the part. I would use him again in a heart beat!

He couldn't do the work because he said we were in a war zone and that the area is too hot. Wouldn't do the service because of where I live.

It went fine. They repaired the ice maker. I have used them before, and I am very satisfied.

The ice maker wasn't working. They fixed it but then it started making a loud noise. They came right back out and made sure it was fixed immediately. We were very happy with the responsiveness.
