He seemed liked a nice and fair repairman, but has punctuality issues, therefore, not very professional.

Pat was super friendly and gave me an honest opinion on the leak in my bathroom as well. He seemed very in-the-know on current classic Chicago fixtures.

Stay away from this one folks. Firm appears to be one overwhelmed guy with good intentions but a lack of organization and follow-through. In my situation, I scheduled the work with him 10 days in advance. On the repair date, he had forgotten about the appointment. When I called him to check status, he was 'busy with an inspector and other clients' the rest of the day. He called a buddy - a fellow independent I assume - who came and did the work. New guy would only take cash and would provide no receipt (anyone from the IRS out there? :) Said that Patrick would settle with me since the booking was made through him. I was not provided with anything for days and messages to Patrick via Angie's List were not returned. The only reason this provider didn't receive and and quot;Fand quot; rating is that the guy who actually did the work showed up mostly on time and did an OK job at an OK price.

Patryk is friendly and polite with experience, skills, and tools to do other jobs for us. He and associate cleaned up areas in kitchen nicely.

. Everything went very well. The only suggestion for improvment would be more care in protecting our carpet from dirt from shoes. Both young men were personable and excellent workers. The job was well done, and completed efficiently. I'm very glad I picked them.

They offer us a discount and they rate it to extra economical to something reasonable but in the end we had to use someone else to fix what they did. They are unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone.

We selected a-1 as they were near the location where we needed service. Other plumbers were only available the next day. Parick arrived within the hour and took care of the problem. Although the initial quote was high, we were able to negotiate a price that we were comforable with. We would consider using them again.

They are doing the work, but it is not complete yet. They seem trustworthy and honest, so that is why I went with them. The quoted price was about $2,400.

Patrick emailed and called us right away, it took a little time to get to us since he was already on another job, but he came out that night and fixed the problem immediately. Very friendly and courteous, he also gave us very reasonable estimates for future work. Would definitely recommend for sewer and drain work, and we will call him again!
