I made an appointment with Greg for a date and time. I received a phone call approximately 4 hours after our appointment and he argued with me about what time we decided on. The correspondence was via email, so he did send an email indicating that he was wrong.I expect companies that I hire to perform work to value my business. Inability to keep an appointment makes me question whether they care about the work and most importantly their reliability. Because of this, I chose not to proceed with an estimate from this company.

They were very punctual, and they did not over charge for the work that they did. The evaluation was free and they were very confident about the work that they did. We will use them again in the future for repairs to my bathroom.

Overall, my walls look straight and, at a quick glance, they look good. However, just after the job was complete, I was informed that there were several problems with the work. I was first informed of these issues by my painter (who refused to paint over such a sloppy job) and second by a second opinion I received from a highly rated (Angie's List) plasterer who uses real plaster, not joint compound. The problems included: Plaster (which was actually joint compound) overlapped the tops of the baseboards in several spots. "Air holes" were all over the walls. There were larger holes here and there. Joint compound was applied directly to the door/window frames from the wall instead of caulk (which was lumpy in many spots). Mesh tape was applied right up to the frames and sometimes protruding out of the plaster. Large defects (that look like large valleys) existed between the wall and the molding. Joint compound was used instead of gypsum plaster (consumers do your homework!) Some parts of the corners were rounded, instead of coming to a sharp point. Some areas that were caulked were very lumpy and bumpy. A plaster and primer mess was left behind the radiators, on the molding and all over the electrical outlets. The molding and window/door frames weren't taped to protect them from the splattering plaster, and, worse still, the splatters were primed over, uhg! I'm now having to spend a lot more time and money trying to fix the job. I could've gotten true gypsum plaster for not that much more money. The only positive thing I have to say was that the owner, Greg, was very friendly, timely and called me back even after the job was done and the issues became apparent. He certainly wanted me to be happy, I'm sorry for both of us that the work was so bad.
