It was a difficult job reinforce all the ceilings in the condo, did not damage any heating pipes. They did a very good job. They used screws and replastered the ceilings. Skim coated the ceiling and painted it. Kris did all the work and he did an exceptional job. Greg, the owner of the company was very accommodating in working with us.

I forgot to post this review so it’s overdue but it’s very fitting today. A1-Pam worked on our kitchen 3yrs ago. They were great then and they’re even better than I first thought. We had an issue recently, which I thought was due to some of their work. Even though it was 3yrs later, Greg scheduled someone to come out but before they came, we were able to discover, the issue was with another appliance that had nothing to do with the remodel, so we didn't need them to come out. If you’ve ever had any work done, you know how hard it is to get a contractor to come look at anything once they get their payment. Yet even though it was way past any guarantee, Greg responded quickly and didn’t hesitate to help. Here's my original review which still applies and I still agree with 100%: I would definitely recommend A1-Pam for any work you made want to schedule. I will definitely use him and his team for all of our projects. Greg was always available for questions or issues. His team worked quickly and always cleaned up after they were done each day. Everyone was very professional and very skilled in their trade. We had a few minor issues but everything was resolved immediately and with no further problems. A1-Pam is definitely recommended by this satisfied customer. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.

Great company, very professional. I have used them twice, for a kitchen and a bath remodel. Greg is very personable, honest and accommodating. He is upfront with costs and will let you know the best he can of anything that may arise during the remodel. Rafal did the work on both of my jobs and really did a great job. He even came back on several occasions to touch up a few details. I highly recommend A-1 PAM, you won't be disappointed.

From our first correspondences via email, it was clear that Greg had the experience and professionalism that our remodeling job required. He responded quickly, and with great attention to details. After a few days we could tell that his team shared the same qualities. Joanna, the project coordinator, maintained an open communication through the entire project. The crew arrived and left on time, were respectful of our space, asked clarifying questions, gave recommendations, and very importantly, were skilled in the job they were doing. In the end, the two bathrooms look great. We will not hesitate to work with this team again should we decide to do more remodeling.

I can't say enough about the ease of this remodel - especially during the pandemic. Detailed proposal better than any I received. Any changes to the work were updated promptly. Questions answered thoroughly and suggestions and the reasoning behind them were easily understood. Project was completed on time. Great value for the money! Will use on future projects without hesitation.

We used A-1 PAM for a recent complete renovation on a multipurpose room (laundry, exercise, storage) and had a great experience. Throughout the process they were responsive to our questions and needs and gave great recommendations. The estimate was reasonable and the project came in on budget and on time. The final product was high quality and exactly what we envisioned. We highly recommend A-1 PAM for renovations!

We hired A-1 PAM to do a complete remodel of a small master bathroom in an older high rise building. Greg and the team were easy to communicate with prior to the project and worked diligently and completed the project in the estimated time frame. They also worked seamlessly with our HOA/building manager to follow all condo association rules. I would absolutely recommend A-1 PAM and plan to use them again in the future.

Thank you A-1 Pam for helping us with the reconstruction of our kitchen and bathroom. We specifically worked with Greg, Tom, and Lukas who were professional, responsive, honest, and offered great ideas/suggestions. They completed a partial renovation of our kitchen (including the fireplace to match the kitchen counter) and master bathroom. They then returned to construct a dog shower in our laundry room. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the quality and beauty of their work. A-1 Pam really made this process easy and seamless. I will consult with them again for any future projects.

We moved into our condo in 2001 and from the very beginning I have wanted to remodel our master bathroom. I have managed my 6-unit condo building since 2001 and after several not-so-great encounters with contractors over the years, I put the remodel on the back burner. I decided 2020 was the year to finally get this done. In early January, I called 10 contractors and was able to set up appointments with the 5 that called back. Tom of A-1 PAM was the second person to call me back and he came the following Monday morning with the owner Greg to see the space. They both took pictures and measurements, had some great suggestions, and we developed a layout. A-1 PAM was the first company to send me their proposal. I was floored by the level of detail. It was well thought-out, precise with materials and supplies checklists, and the cost was reasonable. Included with the proposal was a floorplan and computer-generated visuals of the vanity and linen cabinet. My husband and I were ready to sign but I decided to delay to give the other 4 companies a chance. One never got back to me, one wanted $40,000, one wanted a $12,000 advance (yeah right) and one (after several reminders from me) sent me a one-page quote with 4 bullet points. We signed with A-1 PAM after that and are so happy we did! Tom helped me every step of the way via emails the month before actual construction began and continued to provide contacts, recommendations, and tons of information throughout the process. He was always immediately responsive to my numerous emails and texts. The work started February 17, 2020, and lasted 3 weeks. The 2 installers Peter and Adam came every day, rain or shine, very punctually at 8 am and could not have been more polite and respectful of our space. They always cleaned up at the end of each day. The craftsmanship is phenomenal. Peter in particular amazed me with his carpentry and electrician skills. The end result is absolutely breathtaking especially the sliding shower doors and much needed storage/linen cabinet. The master bathroom has been transformed in ways I only dreamed of in the past. I go in everyday and can’t believe how beautiful it turned out. The dream is real thanks to A-1 PAM. I wholeheartedly recommend Greg and his team and I will be contacting them again for future projects.

Thank you to Greg and Tom and the whole A-1 Pam crew for the outstanding job they did with our basement renovation. We hired A-1 Pam for our basement renovation (family room, guest room/office, full bathroom, laundry room and storage space) and couldn't be happier. From our first consultation until the end, Greg and Tom's attention to detail, commitment to the project, communication and workmanship is by far the best we've encountered. Having two major renovations under my belt this was the best experience we've had with a contractor team. Our initial walkthrough lasted close to an hour, Tom and Greg going over our architectural drawings and covering the area. Contract was clearly stated, with more detail than other quotes. They estimated our renovations would take 8-9 weeks and they came in at just 10 weeks, mainly due to a long holiday weekend cutting into the project. You expect surprise issues and fees to pop up but as far as our project goes, nothing came as a surprise, no hidden costs and no delays or obstacles came into play. The crew, from the daily team that came to our house and other outside services (electric, HVAC, etc) were always on time, stayed the entire duration of their day and cleaned up quickly and continuously. Greg communicated without delay, answering any questions, was quick to offer advice and steered us in the right direction when needed. Finally, as far as price goes, the quote was very reasonable, on point and clear. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to renovate and remodel. You will surely be in dependable, qualified hands. With a few renovations under my belt, they are by far the best contractors we have used, both as far as the workmanship but also communication, consultation and detail. You will not go wrong.

Our experience with A-1 PAM was exceptional from start to finish. Greg came our to assess the job and provide a quote. He was punctual, professional and prepared. He took time to listen to your concerns and answer all of our questions. He also provided his quote promptly. The quote was mid range in comparison to the other quotes we obtained. We decided to hire them for the job because we felt they would provide high quality work. Mark and Matt did a phenomenal job on the plaster repairs and painting. They were very thorough and detailed. They took great care with our furniture and valuables and were very neat and clean. The entire team was very professional. There were no surprises and we are very satisfied with the results. Tom and his team did top notch work on our bathroom remodel. They were very reasonably priced, and their connections with vendors for stone, glass, bathroom fixtures really helped not only save money, but their close relationships with these companies/reps also made things run very smoothly. Their ideas, expertise and customer service really set them apart from the other remodelers that we had talked to. They went above and beyond to help our bathroom turn out even better than we could have imagined and I will definitely be giving them a call the next time we have a home project to do.

Tom and his team were incredible. They initially provided a very realistic estimate and recommendations for where / how we should prioritize our investment (given our building, budget, location, preferences, etc.) They were flexible in adjusting the quote as we got closer to booking and were able to get us in quickly after we signed! We were remodeling amid a very hectic travel schedule, and his team was so accommodating in receiving packages, sending links if we were missing pieces, picking up items from Home Depot, etc. At the end, the work was incredible and completed on time! Would highly recommend.

Communication: responded to 1st inquiry immediately. Came for estimate on time. Send materials as promised. Started on time and kept me appraised of the schedule. Work: Very high quality work by plumbers, electricians, and carpenters/laborers. Staff: Greg and all the workers were great to work with. Overall: if you need a remodel and these guys are available, then don't hesitate. You won't regret it. They are my go-to for whatever I need in the future.

After researching several Chicago home contractors for a condo renovation to gut and open up our kitchen, update one bath and renovate another, all while living in the apartment, we picked A1-Pam. Greg listened with care and balanced our wish list with practical and creative suggestions to make sure the result would meet our needs, look great and still be a good value for the quality of work delivered. We liked their approach to scoping the job, appreciated their transparency in material selection to balance quality and cost and were very pleased with their references. The job started within a few days of their target date and finished right on time and on budget. Most importantly, Greg and his entire team (and subcontractors) were all very professional, skilled, and considerate which, when you are living in the apartment during a renovation, is very important. They were very responsive with communications throughout the job, even and especially when we couldn't be there in person and decisions had to be made. We worked well as a team to ensure that they had all materials on site when needed and they were resourceful and careful to make sure to double check everything prior to installation. When it came to final review, they made sure all the finishing touches were completed. We have hired several contractors in the past and we would put A1-Pam as one of the best contractors we have had the pleasure to work with. Strongly recommend.

First of all, I liked the fact that the owner and project manager came out to do the estimate. I could tell that they knew their job and the quote was reasonable. The whole purchasing phase prior to the remodeling was well laid out. Tom, the project manager, was very timely in responding to any questions that I had. Everything was in place for day one so the project was completed in the two week time frame that was given. On a personal note, I am a widow and the prospect of doing a complete bathroom remodel was scary. However, everyone from my project manager to the workers who did the job could not have been nicer. They worked with me to insure that the end result would be exactly what I wanted. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and plan to use them again to re-do my kitchen.

A-1 PAM crews did an outstanding job despite some minor glitches from third party vendors who were late with materials. Greg Maziarka and Tom Kacki were thoroughly professional and communicated with us well throughout the process. The project crew was able to finish much of the work while we were out of town. The electrical work, plumbing, tile, and shower door were handled by individual specialists who were very careful to get everything just right. They kept the worksite clean and minimized dust in the rest of the house. We were impressed by how they addressed all our questions and concerns as the project progressed. The finished bathroom looks terrific. We strongly recommend A-1 PAM Home Remodeling.

These guys did a great job remodeling my kitchen. Greg, Tom and the crew were always informative, punctual, and professional. Thanks to the great advice from Greg, we changed the layout of the kitchen to include and large center island getting rid of a peninsula and relocating the fridge. The new layout improved the flow of the kitchen and now it feels more open. During the project, I was out of town for 10 days. I left my keys with the crew and came back to a beautiful kitchen! These guys do excellent work. They were neat and clean and I can't say enough about the quality of their work. I would definitely use them again.

Greg and his team were the most professional crew that I had out to provide me with a quote for a full bathroom remodel, and they stuck to that quote to the penny, including all their vendors (custom glass, custom mirror, countertops, and vanity). They had great recommendations for where we should go to purchase the remainder of the items, and they allowed us to use their contractor discount at those locations. I had a lot of questions, and Greg responded to all of my emails within a matter of hours both before and during the project. They finished their work on time and the quality was great, the bathroom turned out exactly as we had hoped. Great work, and would definitely use them again.

Tom was an excellent project manager. Their level of communication, attention to detail, guidance in what we needed to select and by what time period was amazing. This was our first remodel and we were very inexperienced but Tom made sure he gave us places we could shop for tile, fixtures etc. He kept us on task, checking in to make sure we made our selections on time. They finished within a few days of the estimated time, always showed up every single day, no excuses, and always punctual. They treated the rest of our property with respect and kept everything clean. I would recommend them unreservedly.
