5 Star Concrete & Construction

Gibran came out and met with me to provide an estimate. Despite repeated promises he never provided a quote.

My only complaint about 5 Star is the fact that they don't do anything else house rehab related other than their specialty.They are the only contractors that I have hired in 9+ years that said what they were going to do before the project started , delivered on time in a very professional manner with a minimum of disruption and dealing with a host of other things that necessitated repairing when the old driveway was removed that I had no idea was needed nor was prepared to fix. They worked with me along the way patiently while we had electrical work, brick masonary work, and landscaping , AC work . Some of whom were professionals found and recommended by 5 Star . As to whether I would hire them again I am hiring them again to do sod / stamped concrete project.

Job went very well! workers were on time,efficient,and knowledgeable about concrete. 5 Star is very attentive to detail.

They didn't warn me that the work would tear up her grass and that it would be another $400 to fix. When they did the concrete they also had to have my gates adjusted because they would drag across the concrete. They did an ok job adjusting the front gate, however the back gates still drags and I have to lift up when opening/closing. On June 12th asked when he was coming back and he said on Wednesday or Thursday. Today is Monday and I haven't heard or seen him. The service in general was terrible, and there were tons of issues. They were throwing the materials in the grass, the lawn company said there was extensive damage to the sod.

Excellent!!!! Gibran and his team were the best. We have had a lot of different contractors for various projects in our home and this was one team that did not disappoint. 5 Star Concrete is worth a 10 star rating. Thanks Gibran and crew.

The guys from 5 start came out and did the work on the day that I called and had everything torn out and hauled away within a couple of hours (it was about 16 sq feet of concrete and a brick patio).

They were awesome! Came in quick with an estimate and even matched a lower bid just because they wanted the job. I definitely wanted them to do it so I was happy. Gibran was GREAT! A slight hiccup excavating because of someone cutting corners running electrical to my garage but that wasn't a problem, he fixed the electrical and was back to business. Got all the work done in one day, I was blown away. A few months later we had an issue with our AC unit they cemented around and accidentally covered/buried the electrical cord and the freon line and came out immediately to chisel everything out and it looks like it never happened. I recommend them to my parents and they did a great job at their house as well and gave them a fantastic price. Just stop looking and call Gibran, you won't be disappointed

These guys are the best. I called him on a Saturday morning and within 30 minutes I had an estimate in my had. Work started that Monday and was done and cleaned up by Wensday morning. They also do Sod and fencing. Would recommend them to any and all that asks.

Everything went great! They were done within 4 days (that includes a rain delay). Worked from 8am to about 3:30. Gibrain was very knowledgeable and gave good suggestions to ensure A+ work. The final product was great and exceeded our expectations. They also cleaned up and power washed the sidewalk after the cement dried.

Job went excellent. This is my second time using 5 Star and they are "5 Star" all the way. Gibrain is an excellent businessman with exceptional customer service, punctuality and professionalism. His prices are very competitive and fair. The end product is exactly what I hoped it could be. I highly recommend him and his team for any concrete work. He goes the extra mile. It went well. They did a good job on the steps and sidewalks.

Undecided going to wait until spring

We called Gibran for an estimate on the job. We already knew what we wanted because we had other estimates. Gibran came out the next day, was very knowledgable & explained the whole process to us. He gave us a very fair price & we felt comfortable working with him. He gave us an installation date and was on time on that date. His crew was very polite & professional. The patio was completed on the day he said it would be. There was some rough spots on the patio. I called Gibran back to fix them. He came out fixed the rough spots & even resealed the whole patio again. We were very happy with the whole process. We love our new patio.

We are thrilled with the work done on our new sidewalk and patio. We're getting oohs and ahs from our neighbors. 5 Star Concrete were very easy to work with: responsive to calls, concerns and scheduling. This was a difficult job, but 5 Star stuck with us and explained exactly how he would resolve and he stuck to the plan. He even noticed an unrelated front stair that needed attention and fixed it since he was there. After their work was complete, my husband spotted one area, undiscussed, that could be improved and 5 Star came back within the week and addresssed the concern. Super responsive, fair and flexible. We would recommend 5 Star to anyone needing creative, competent and conscientious concrete work!

had the gangway, an area behind the garage, and the patio done. the patio was stamped and the gangway was broom swept. the job was done very well and very fast

FANTASTIC. Gibran gave me a though same day quote and immediately put me in touch with a customer only a few miles away which he had completed the week before. After inspecting his work and talking with fellow customer (all positive), we signed a deal on a friday with work to be completed in 3 weeks. Seriously on Monday he called me and asked if they could start that very week. They were working on a project only 3 blocks away and wanted to do them concurrently. I was ecstatic and it went great. Gibran was here every day leading his crew with shovel and trowel in hand. The whole crew was professional, courteous and responsive and stayed until it was 100% done. Couldnt' have went better, A+, you should definitely work with Gibran and 5 Star Concrete.

Much better than expected. Gabrian was fair in his quote, very thorough with the job and even did a bit more than anticipated. He and his crew came back to clean up in an appropriate time period. There was going to be a bit of extra concrete with the job and he was willing to use it to help out our neighbor (with their permission) to fix a spot in the front of their house that they couldn't get a contractor to fix. Would highly recommend him, he is trustworthy, honest, and holds great pride in his work.

5 Star Concrete came out quickly for the estimate and gave me a very fair price. Once called upon to do the job, 5 Star came out quickly and finished the job within the time as promised. 5 Star was very respectful of neighbors and were very clean. 5 Star provided some ideas that proved best for the project. I have told many friends about them.

5 star was easy to work with. They came out and gave an estimate and did the work on time when they said it would be done. The final result is exactly what we wanted.

All went as planned. A 4 feet by 30 foot section of the driveway was removed and new concrete was poured to repair the driveway. The job was completed in on day. The work was done correctly and I am pleased with the results

My husband and I were exceptionally pleased with both the final work product and with the whole process from estimate to job completion. As a small business owner, Gibran is 100% committed to client satisfaction and takes great pride in his work along with his workers. We were able to get an estimate right away from Gibran after I contacted him. He was able to complete the project very quickly and before a large outdoor party that we were having. We received many compliments on the beautiful job. We also found his pricing to be very reasonable knowing that we had chosen one of the higher end Butterfield stamped concrete colors/design. We will definitely hire him again and highly recommend him to others.

Gibran is an exceptional business person. He's responsive and detail oriented, which is hard to find. I contacted him for an estimate and he immediately set up a date to come by the property. Upon inspection of the property, he offered me a fair price for the work. We set up a time and date for the project within a week of his initial visit. Gibran and his assistant arrived on time and finished the project within the time frame allotted. I was so impressed with his craftsmanship and professionalism. The final product was better than expected. I will definitely use 5 Star again and will not hesitate to refer to other property owners.

It was great. I was really happy with the work. The owner Gibran was knowledgeable and professional. He did the work himself with an employee. They treated it as a priority even though it was not a huge job and they had other jobs lined up. They really hustled but they didn't hurry through or leave anything unfinished. Gibran had good suggestions. The work looks great, its pitched well and has a nice finish. He also saved me from a big headache later. I asked him to void out an old drain. He found that another active drain fed into it and would have backed up. I'm really glad he checked it out. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to neighbors.
