Good job with a hard working crew.

Provider rebuilt a walkway next to our townhouse. He was very responsive to communication and made some good suggestions and comments about the job. He was able to set up the work on the first days with no rain which was a few days after we first spoke. They showed up on time and finished when they said they would. The work was professionally done, and we are very happy wit the result. Overall a good experience, and I would recommend them and use them again.

He quickly returned my call and actually had a few guys available the same day. It was started and completed all the same day. Even had his workers place a 2 X 8 plank over the work, so my tenants could get in and out of the front door. Came back two days later to remove the forms. Everything looks great and I feel like he was very honest. Even gave me a few options prior to starting the work.

Estimate he gave was exact. Started one day after I signed the contract and he finished in the amount of time promised. Couldn't have gone better!

The stairs alone were $3400 and then it was an extra $300 to replace the rails. The work was good. People need to know that this company does not replace the rails for your steps. So that's going to be extra time and extra money. That needs to be disclosed and clear, from the beginning. That was a headache.

Where do I start??? Responds quickly. Honest quote. Honest work. Absolutely takes his trade seriously. Starts on time and finishes a whole lot earlier than expected. Gibran came back and power washed everything after he completed the work. Resolves any issues and is very knowledgeable. Absolutely a pleasure. I guess I'll update when a year has passed. ulingOverall he did a good job. I do have to say they I made the mistake of thinking the concrete pad behind the garage of the house I bought was simply a 4" slab. Once he got into it, it turns out that it had footers and everything. Jose could have just walked away from the job, as he probably went from making money to breaking even at best. He called me at work and said he would complete the job but would need another $100 to do so (original price was $600). He ended up getting the slab and footers demolished and removed. I would have liked him to do a better job removing and hauling all the bits and pieces of the concrete away, but all things considered, it was a good job.

Gibran and his crew were great! Quality work, fair price and responsive throughout the process.

They just needed to provide the contract up front. I guess we trusted each other. Newbees might be nervous. It would help protect both parties.

Gibran and his team did a great job! The quality of his work is wonderful! Our concrete patio was very old and in bad shape. Gibran was thorough in his estimate and listened to our concerns about some drainage issues we were having. We had an estimate the same day, which was greatly appreciated since we still wanted to get this project completed this year. My husband and I were thrilled at how quickly they were able to get the work scheduled and completed as well. Any questions we had were handled professionally. Gibran and his team really went above and beyond.

Received an estimate for the floor repair, but then also received unsolicited estimates for other concrete work. Like sidewalks, which were not my concern at the time. It appeared to be a sells pitch,

The entire experience was awesome!!!! The professionalism, promptness, attention to detail and price were great! The owner responded to my home the same day I contacted him and provided an estimate. He was a very honest man and walked me through the process step by step. He was patient and eager to tackle the job. He answered all of my questions and concerns and assured me that the job would be done in a timely manner and done right!! Not only was the job done RIGHT but it was done QUICKLY!! We've had problems in this area concrete wise for a while. We've tried to do it ourselves and then brought in someone super cheap. Both solutions weren't lasting so we wanted to go with someone who could offer a lasting solution and knew how to solve this problem. Gibran standardly uses a better grade of concrete. You didn't wait to hear back - great communication. He started/finished on time. And after the concrete dried, he came back and power washed to make sure any residual concrete and splash were cleaned up which wasn't part of the job so that was nice. It's nice to be surprised with extra service. The results look spectacular. We were impressed and we don't get impressed easily with contractors.

Excellent. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. Gibron contacted me promptly after receiving my request and provided an estimate immediately. He made several recommendations for how to accomplish my goals and I followed his advice. He arrived when he said he would and finished when he said he would. He was professional, flexible and most of all excellent at what he does. He was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and stayed in constant contact with me. I found him to be fairly priced and a pleasure to work with. I have already recommended his company to others.

Everything went extremely well with this project. I had several different contractors come out to give me estimates. From the start, Gibran Banales, the owner of 5 Star Concrete stood out from the rest. He spent time with me to explain exactly what needed to be done and showed me pictures of work he had completed for other customers. The other contractors who gave me estimates essentially just took measurements and then gave me a price. Gibran's estimate was considerably lower than the others, so it was an easy decision to make. I am very pleased with the work provided by 5 Star. Gibran was on site most of the time overseeing and working with the rest of the crew. He kept in communication with me about the schedule and everything was executed on time as planned. My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of work. They also did a very good job of cleaning up after completing the work. Gibran also worked with us on a payment plan we could afford. I highly recommend 5 Star.

Came out to site same day as initial contact. Performed work two days later with efficient team of hard workers who were polite and diligent. End product was exemplary and went extra miles to ensure I was happy with garage floor replacement. Could not be happier.

It was a very good experience. 5 star/ Mr. Giibram Banales responded to my call immediately. I met him later the same day. He gave me an estimate, which I thought was quite reasonable and 5 Star started the demolition work the next day. On day two, 5 Star completed demo and set-up forms for new pour. They also repaired about 15' of broken drainage tile under the gangway sidewalk. On day three they poured new concrete, which they put a niece brush finish on. Existing Iron work on front stoop Could not be salvaged, so 5 Star replaced it at no cost to me. Mr. Banales maintained good communication with me throughout the process, sending me pictures of progress and/or unanticipated problems like the broken drainage tiles. The crew of two to three worked hard and were friendly and professional. Tenants at this property had no complaints, as 5 Star kept them informed of what to expect next and the whole job was done in just over 3 days.

5 Star Concrete and Construction did a truly wonderful job. We could not be happier with the work that was performed over the past two days. From the start, 5 Star concrete was extremely professional and took the time to explain every step of the process. In addition, they were always punctual, and never threw any surprises at us. We collected quotes from 3 different companies. Of these quotes, 5 Star Concrete and Construction was the only quote that really covered every area of our concern. In addition, they pointed out potential problems that we never realized, or that would cause us problems down the road. They were considerate of our existing landscaping and our neighbors property. What can I say... Everything turned out great and it was a very positive experience. The price was excellent considering the amount of work and labor that was performed over two days. At the end of the day, I went to bed knowing this company was looking out for our best interests. I would not hesitate to do business with 5 Star again in the future, and plan on recommending their services to friends and neighbors. Gilbran and his crew have done a fabulous job and never seem to disappoint us. We are very excited at the fact that we have found 5 Star Concrete and Construction. They know exactly what they are doing and excel at the work they perform. His prices are very reasonably priced. He performs the work in a timely manner and are very punctual. I can't express how pleased I am with the customer service, responsiveness, flexibility and quality of work. It's always refreshing to work with a company that talks with you, not at you. The owner helped me make decisions I was comfortable with, without pressuring me. I was also impressed about how passionate Gibran (owner) was about the work he and his company does....happy owners have happy employees and happy employees do great work! Bottom line, I couldn't be happier and I would definitely use this company again.

Gibran and crew dug up my basement without using big machinery which was preferable to me. Other contractors wanted to put an excavator in my basement which I thought would be risky. My foundation walls were underpinned and a new foundation was dug up and poured to a new addition of the house. Gibran was responsive to my requests and I'm very happy with the end results.
