We got one central because some of them aren't functioning. Another one arrived and had to be remeasured and reinstalled twice. It didn't go very well. One of them still needs to be repaired. There was some discount for the measured blinds that had to be installed twice.

It came out nice. They came out really good. It was not excellent, but it was good. I thought the price was a little high, but then, I realized that my windows are very wide and there are three of them that are that way. The only thing I can say about them is after they were put up, I had them look like there was no seam at all on the wall and then, when you started to go up and down, they would hit the blind and sided them. I did call them and talked to the girl who did come over with the blinds and installation and I never heard back from her. I wanted to see if they had anything I could do to not have them bump into each other like mold seam or something, but I never heard from her. Aside from that, I am very satisfied with the blinds. The quality of the work was the best. When they come to hang them, they were on-time. The gentleman, who did it I guess did not work for them because they contracted it out, was very good and his name is Joe. They could have followed-through and I would have appreciated that because even my husband would say, it kicked my other blinds. That was the only thing I can say that they did not do that one for a change. I would have liked a call back. I would use them again, but everything is covered the bedroom as well as the living room and dining room. So, I would not use them again, but I would recommend them.

It was fine. They did work on my rental home so I wasn't there. I didn't have any comparison because I didn't get a price from anywhere else, but I was told after that the price was high. In terms of delivery, it took longer than promised and my renter mentioned that they had scheduled a delivery and they did not show up so my renter had to call them. Other than that the service person that I talked to over the phone seemed nice and knowledgeable. It was pretty average. My renter likes the quality. I would call them for a quote in the future, but I wouldn't use them without multiple quotes. I was in a hurry and my renter needed blinds set up.

This may be the single worst experience I've ever had with a company. Here are my biggest concerns and the reasons that I would NEVER use this company again or recommend them. Note these issues have still not been resolved. 1. We already had blinds in our mater bedroom - the white blinds that hang from the top and rotate open/closed. We wanted black out blinds so contacted 3 Day to purchase them. We were extremely clear the entire time that the reason we were making this purchase was for the black out effect. Polina (our sales rep) told us that she could offer that effect by adding some additional "black out" material to the back of the drapes. FALSE: The drapes don't even come close to create anything resembling a black out effect. 2. They tried to grossly overcharge us. We negotiated a lower price based on other offers, but decided to go with 3 Day since there was multiple positive reviews on Angie's list. What a mistake. We definitely overpaid. 3. We were told that it was not the drapes but the way the drapes were installed so the installation company was sent back out to our house to "fix" the drapes.They fixed nothing AND while they were there damaged the white blinds including breaking one entire blind off, not telling us about it, and then removing it from our home. WOW, 4. MOST SIGNIFICANT is the damage that has been done to my credit report. When I started this experience with 3 Day Blinds my credit score was over 750. Today, it is 608. Polina offered us a line of credit for the drapes that was 12 months no interest. Clearly, we accepted as that was a great deal and we thought we'd be able to pay it off before interest kicked in. REALITY is that 3 Day Blinds permitted an outside company to open a credit card with a $4500 balance in my name that shows $2500 is currently being used. That negatively impacted my credit score. Further, I have requested the payment information from 3 Day Blinds multiple times and they won't send it to me. I sent the FOURTH request to them today asking for the payment information so I can get this blemish off my record. Worse, they company that is holding my debt is submitting notice that I am not paying my bills so now my credit looks like I have bunch of unpaid debt that I am just ignoring. This was been a horrific experience. I don't know if the sales person was just willing to say anything to get the deal done or if she just was under-trained or under-educated. Either way, she sold us a product that does not meet our needs which we were very clear about. She offered payment terms that are not being honored. After nearly two months this issue is still not resolved. DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME!

We are very sorry you are unhappy with your experience. The draperies that were installed were ordered with our room darkening liner to block out as much light as possible. Though we do not have a report or documentation stating that a slat was removed from your existing vertical blind, we are still willing to work with you towards a resolution. Regarding the issue with the financing, that is through a different company – the financing company/bank that you opened the account with. We did call over to them to see what help we could be. They stated that they had the wrong address information, and that the issue was on their side. They stated that any late fees, etc., that had accumulated had been taken care of when you called them a few days ago. They did advise your account is now current. They could not answer any questions regarding any hits to your credit report or score, and asked that you contact them directly regarding this. 4-25 I had your representative come for a pricing. My husband and I decided to place an order for blinds on 4-27. We were told it would take about 6 weeks to custom order cut blinds. We finally had somone come out 6-5. When the installer came he blamed the designer for not cutting the blinds. He hand cut them and the blinds were crooked. I didn't notice until He left and the shades did not close all the way. They were all uneven. I called to complain and the lady who answered the call said. My window must be crooked. She blamed the window and would have to have someone come back to determine if the window was uneven. We waited again 6-12 the installer called said due to rain would have to come 6-13. He said sorry would have to re-order them. And he tried to replace the chain and broke it. Now i had to wait for another appointment they were to come again 6-25 6-30 but the blinds were not back so they rescheduled for 7-3 and had to reschedule because the installer threw out his back. I now have an appointment 7-8. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. IT WAS A DIFFERENT SEASON OF THE YEAR WHEN I ORDERED THESE BLINDS. IT IS NOW SUMMER AND STILL NOTHING. I paid a lot of money for blinds that are ridiculous. I will never recommend Eddie Z's to anyone. If i could have them come and take them back and get a refund I would. No one takes accountability for the poor service. Every person I spoke to blamed someone else. I should receive a refund just for the mere fact that still don't have my blinds.

It went poorly. Customer service contacted me two hours later (after I contacted them earlier in the day). Apparently there was a "scheduling error" on their behalf. The message from customer service was very polite. But, I won't use them again. Too many other "A" options.

I worked with Wanda, who is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and cost conscious. Everything about the experience was superlative. Wanda was extremely helpful and ensured that we got exactly what we were looking for--good quality, variety in style and color, minimal maintenance. The turnaround time was negligible. Al, who came to hang the blinds, could not have been more wonderful. He is a perfectionist who loves what he does, and it shows. He did an outstanding job. We couldn't be happier with the results, as evidenced by the fact that we have worked with both Wanda and Al on numerous occasions.

The representative named Gary was very helpful and professional. The job went smoothly overall with no complaints. I believe we paid around $1000 for the blinds. Yes, I'd hire this company again. My parents referred us to them. We paid for quality and they do give you a warranty if the cords break.

They came to my house and we went through the samples until I decided on what I wanted. She wrote up a quote and printed it for me. I wasn't sure about spending the money so she left. No pressure. When I decided to go ahead I contacted them, sent them a check, and about 10 days later they were installed. They fit perfectly and I love the way they look. Very professional.

I thought their price was good, after they matched another quote that another company gave me. They also gave me the blinds cheaper. It took them 2 days to do the installation of the blinds for me. They did deliver the blinds in 2 separate shipments, so that was why. The first appointment they did not show up or call, so that was frustrating since I was just sitting around. I eventually did have someone come out after I called and got a hold of the company who sent someone out to install the blinds. There was some communication issues with the location of my address; The company called to confirm the address and the technicians showed up in the wrong location.

We liked the blinds. They work and they keep the sun out in the summer. They also keep the heat in during the winter. One of the blinds locking mechanism stopped working and it was a hassle to schedule with them. They did sub-contract out the job to another company that I had to stay in contact with. We are still happy with the blinds and they match well with the color of the paint we chose for the walls.
Description of Work: They installed some blinds. There were 5 of them. 4 of them you can lower them from the top or raise them from the bottom. Only one of them could only go from the bottom.

The lady was very professional, she did the measurements, showed us the options and gave us a quote. She called to let us know when the installer would be out. He showed up on time, did the work and left no mess. He hauled away all the mess and garbage too. The quality was excellent.

The second product was a "lemon". Apparently they had since changed vendors and the 2010 product was inferior. Over the course of the next 1-2 years, the product deteriorated to the point that the blinds can no longer be easily raised without brute force. I have blisters on my hands from trying to raise them and one of the windows is now basically unusable. Unfortunately the change was gradual and exceeded the warranty period. Finally in 2013 their contracted service person came and evaluated the blinds - admitting that the 2010 product was known to him from service calls to be inferior, later being replaced by another vendor, due to this exact problem. However, after this service call, 3 day Blinds called and told us there was "nothing they could do". I think they knew they were selling an inferior product in 2010. We paid thousands for blinds that now need to be removed and replaced, but we no longer trust this company.
Description of Work: We originally purchased blinds from this company in 2006 and although the installation took weeks (not days) to schedule, we were ultimately very satisfied with the product, which was installed in our master bedroom. Four years later we asked them to install room darkening blinds in our son's bedroom to replace the original set, which was not room-darkening. So they came and installed room darkening blinds in this room to replace their original product, installed in 2006.

The regular windows, they did ok. I just had to complain and complain about the patio. They did give us $100 off but I would not use them again.
Description of Work: They did the window treatments in my home. They came back right after that and did our patio door. They had to come back 5 times for one patio door. One time they were too long, the next time they were too short. They kept getting the heading rail wrong, they were either damaged or the wrong color.

I had a coupon for the blinds through another deal site. It was very convenient to schedule the appointment. They were able to send someone within the week to come give me an estimate. On the phone I informed them I did not know what I wanted for sure so they said they would send a bunch of options with the sales person. The sales person called me while she was on her way to the appointment as she was running late. She asked if I had some ideas of what I was looking for. I explained I was not sure but was leaning towards the fake-wood so they would not chip given the blinds would be in a high traffic area. She indicated she was about 10 minutes away so we could discuss options when she arrived. Thiry-five minutes later, she arrived, and the fake wood was the only option she brought with her. She showed me some other options in the catalog and indicated she could get samples from the car. I agreed because I wanted to see the additional option. She started measuring my windows and then never went to get the other option. I felt pressured to agree to the fake woods as she already started typing everything into her computer. She quoted me a price and I indicated that I did not want to pay that much. She said if I did not need them this week that she could save me money. I was in no hurry so I agreed for a 2 week delivery time frame. After the new price was agreed upon, I gave her the voucher number for my deal, the price went up by $50. I have had these same windows priced by 2 other companies. With what they charge for their blinds and installation, they were not the cheapest (Eddie Z's was) but they were not the most expensive either. Due to needing to use up my voucher I just agreed to get the blinds and be done with this project. The blinds were delivered to my house directly within the 2 weeks. I was told when I bought them that as soon as they showed delivered, the installation company would call to set up a time to come and install them. After waiting a week and a half to hear from the installation company, I emailed the customer service department to inquire about the delay. He apologized, told me he would get in touch with the installation company and have someone call me. He provided the number to the company in case I did not hear from them. After waiting several more days for someone to contact me, I called the installation company. They told me they were never told the blinds arrived. They quickly scheduled an appointment for the following business day (I called on Friday and they were there on Monday). The installation took maybe 20 minutes (and the company charges more then $100 for this service) and it seemed to be something I probably could have done on my own. Overall, the quality is not great. I could have gotten the same thing from Home Depot for much cheaper. I have not heard from the company at all since I reached out to customer service. I guess I am used to companies who sell a product that needs installation to call and check-in to make sure everything turned out okay. I do not appreciate the misrepresentation of their prices (first over quoting and then charging a different price) and I did not appreciate the lack of responsiveness for the installation. I also did not like the lack of options presented to me, feeling rushed and pressured to make a decision. I definitely will not use this company again for the other windows I need done because there are better (and cheaper) options available.

I was disappointed. The main story is listed above, but I am angry about the guest windows because that side of the house faces East, and that sun is pretty strong in the morning. I don't want my guests feeling they HAVE to get up because its so bright with the sun bleeding through my Hunter Douglas blinds. I have a patio door to do, and they are expensive. I won't be going back to 3 Day Blinds. They prove that you can purchase a well respected name like Hunter Douglas but still have poor results if the folks who sold it to you aren't of the same caliber.
Description of Work: I requested metal mini blinds for the windows of my master bedroom, master bedroom closet, office, and guest bedroom, along with wooden blinds for my great room. I called the 800 number to schedule, so I don't know which local office I dealt with, and the card of the consultant who came out has no address. A design consultant came out and measured all the windows. We then discussed what I wanted. I was pretty set on mini blinds; I just needed to pick the color. I wanted Hunter Douglas but she seemed particularly and visibly bugged by this and kept hawking her own blinds. When looking at the price, I did decide to purchase their blinds for the closet and office but kept the Hunter Douglas for the other rooms. We chatted a long time, but she was not warm, and I did not think the attitude she conveyed to be particularly professional with regard to my wanting the Hunter Douglas blinds. She asked quite a few personal questions which I thought was odd. The installer came out around the 4th of July, and he was a fantastic guy. Unfortunately, one of the blinds in the great room didn't quite fit as I expected, and they agreed immediately to replace it. The Hunter Douglas blinds in the guest bedroom was another story. The window is a wide one, and she had asked me if I wanted one blind or two. I thought two would be nice. They did not meet, so in the summer time, the sun shines through the middle, and I am VERY unhappy about this. Her suggestion was to move them closer together, but I don't want the sun coming in on the sides. I think the window was poorly measured, and they don't want to take responsibility. I waited a long time for my replacement blinds, and called them after waiting about 6 weeks. Apparently, some blinds had come in with no name, and with my call they discovered they were mine. He came out to install. They won't do anything about the guest window, and (remember) it is Hunter Douglas.
