The one star is for my designer who was great - everything else after that initial meeting has been a disaster. I ordered my drapes from Smith and Noble which has now been taken over by 3 day blinds. You cannot currently book installations. You have to give the scheduler a few options that work for you, and then wait for the install department to confirm your choice. I have been waiting for 10 days for someone to confirm my appointment and despite numerous follow up calls, I have not made any progress. I was told during one of these calls that There are currently no installers that work the area to hang the blinds up. No-one is able to help, and management don't return calls.

DO NOT USE! My wife and I ordered blinds/pull down shades from this company. The order went in in March 2024. We got the blinds installed on May 4th. Probably should call them 3 month blinds, not 3 day blinds. I could have lived with that, but after spending I'm not sure how many thousands of dollars for treatment in 3 little areas, they came on May 4th to install them. They are simple manual pull downs. One area = okay One area, which is a single window = crooked One area, our sliding doors to deck = installed wrong product. We told them we ordered the OVER pull down. They installed the UNDER pull down, which is obstructed. The man installed it and said to use it while they reorder the correct one. Then, they disappeared. We called three times. No one returned our calls. Finally, after several weeks (it's June 12th as I type this), we still cannot get in touch with anyone and they aren't returning our calls. That's basically where the story sits.

This company has been awful to work with. I had an appointment that got cancelled on the day it was supposed to happen. I got three different reasons from three different people as to why it was cancelled. Such liars who can’t keep their story truthful. Lorena was not professional and never followed up with me to reschedule when she did say will follow up. Lorena’s manager (Matt i believe) was unprofessional, rude and a liar. He said he would call me and come after an appointment he had. He never called and never came. Instead i called him to remind him. These people lacked good customer service and professionalism. Matt at the end of a call thanked me after i told him i’d post a review of the awful experience from 3 Day Blinds. Jokes on him. Awful people, awful company. I got other companies to come by who were smarter, professional and truthful. I will never use 3 Day Blinds ever again nor will i recommend to anyone i know.

Ordered blinds. Came to install and said he measured wrong. He installed half and never came back. Called several times. They kept saying they would call back and never did. Took 1-1/2 years and then they tell me I have to reorder! Never fixed bathroom, was suppose to be inside install and they hung on outside.

Our sales rep was fine, but he assured us that despite their not being the best priced option the installation, product and support would be top-notch. We also picked out a color with our rep that ended up being unavailable after we placed the order. The installation process was not smooth. Installers forgot their ladders (twice) and some parts were missing during the initial installation (skylight tracks for one window). Lead times on everything were longer than anticipated. Less than a year in and one of the remote shade batteries quit. It took several weeks for a service appointment to diagnose and we could not manually lower the shade... This shade was in our 3-year-old son's room and the inability to drop the shade made nap times hard and he would wake up much earlier in the morning due to the light coming in. Once they diagnosed the issue as a dead battery we were told the solar charger might not work for the location. We only opted for solar charging bc they assured us it was sunny enough at that window. I left the bed pulled out, because parts were supposed to only be a few days out. We are at the estimated date + 9 days and we just got a message advising we are now waiting on a battery to come from Mexico and there are going to be additional delays due to needing a customs appointment. I am anticipating the final repair appointment will be weeks out again. I have been patient, but this is a mess. I feel helpless, because what can we do, but sit and wait for this to play out. I deeply regret purchasing through this company, would not recommend them, and would not purchase from them again.

I am not a typical review writer, but I feel compelled to warn anyone against using 3 Day Blinds. It has been a horrible experience - from the quality to the customer service, it is just TERRIBLE. Use anyone else, but not 3 Day Blinds. Its been an ongoing fight since OCTOBER with my issues still not solved.

I am writing this as a repeat customer of 3-Day blinds. This experience has been different than my other times, and it has INCREASED my appreciation of this company. This time, there were several communication snafus that led to blinds having to be remade. But, even when things didn't go as planned, the people at 3-Day Blinds continued to work at it to get it right. Sometimes things don't go as planned, and that is when you see the character and values of people and the companies they work at. The way they are handling this has made me even happier with them than I was when things went according to plan.

I've been a long time client and they've generally been good at service in the past. Now however, they've clearly 'bitten off more than they can chew' with high volume but lots of employee turnover. One can't get through to anyone live by phone, e-mails for service and order requests go un-returned for weeks. The sales person can only apologize and state that everything past the initial sale is out of her control. My specific issue is that they mis-measured and only installed a temporary blind as a result. Thus far, '3 DAY' Blinds has taken over 3 WEEKS at replacement and I can't get through to anyone to help. The sales person will not get involved and infers 'not my problem'. My advice is to steer clear with this has been company. There are better options out there.

I was pleased with the agent, however she talked too fast and if I hadn't told her that my daughters needed to be present, I would have purchased something that I didn't want. I am pleased to some degree with my blinds, but they are not really me. I should have chosen something darker. My daughters and I bought treatments for 23 windows in our new building, so we waited a considerable or reasonable length of time for our delivery. I hadn't bought blinds for a while, but you usually end up unhappy when you have a fast talker.

Really wish I'd gone with a more reputable company. George Green gave me the most outrageous quote, literally THOUSANDS more than 3 other competitors who were each similarly priced for the similar fabrics and then without a fight he dropped the price to below the lowest competitor - so he just inflated the price to be unscrupulous?!? Still, these custom drapes were quite an investment and after installation I see my drapes are a full inch too short. I was so clear about how long they needed to be and he miscalculated the height of the ceiling track. My very expensive drapes now look like high water pants. Don't hire these people.

Theoriginal installation and sales were excellent. The communication was very good from the time we ordered to the time of installation. However the 3rd party installer that is subcontracted to 3 Day blinds is slow to respond to follow up issues.

the salesperson came out in early October. The price was good and the quality was equal to waht we had been seeing with previous vendors. Everything looked good until we never got a phone call in the week we had selected. We called and were told a panel was missing but was being rushed shipped. We set up the installation appointment. The week before, we received daily phone calls (form 3 Day Binds!) reminding us to pay the balance. We said we would pay but only for the product being installed. No one could tell us that amount. We finally went to the Downers Grove store on the Firday before the Monday installation. Good news! The whole orer would be in! We paid the full amount. the installer showed up today. Guess what? A panel is still missing! What a ripoff! And the manager is on an important phone call!

I can only recommend using 3 Day Blinds for products that they make in-house. For anything they do not make (e.g., Hunter Douglas, Norman Shutters, etc.), the experience has been terrible. We used 3 Day Blinds a few years ago to get blinds for large non-standard windows and everything went great. This time, we wanted shutters and a nicer looking set of vertical blinds for a sliding door. Scheduled the appointment online, and the representative tried to reschedule for 6 hours later; we rescheduled for 2 hours later, and she was still late. We were told that blinds would be 10 days, shutters would be 6-8 weeks. 10 days later, the blinds couldn't be installed because representative had ordered incorrect mounting hardware. We were told correct parts would be rushed, but they didn't arrive to installer for 3 more weeks and there were still some incorrect parts so the blinds were installed but not fully. Finally the correct parts arrived 4 weeks after that and the blinds were complete. The assigned case manager for the blinds was impossible to reach and unreliable about calling back; we ended up getting multiple refunds to compensate for the wasted time and effort it took on the blinds. In the meantime, it's been 13 weeks since the shutters were ordered (we were told 6-8 weeks by the representative, by the shutter installer when he visited to confirm measurements, and by multiple people at 3 Day Blinds, though more recently a 3 Day Blinds customer service representative told me all those earlier estimates were wrong and it is actually 8-12 weeks) and we still do not have them. If you want shutters for the Chicago summer, order them by January to ensure installation before 90-degree days hit. I have additional windows that need treatments, but will not use 3 Day Blinds again. I cannot recommend them for anything other than the items they manufacturer and have in-house, but based on my recent customer experiences, I would not likely recommend them for even that.

It went surprisingly well. I was more disappointed that such expensive blinds that are rarely used had broken after a fairly short period of time. The cheaper blinds are fine. Anyway, I found the original receipt and called them. I'd purchased them 3 - 4 years ago. They charged me $85 for someone to take them down and put them back up, and it was an easy transaction. Haven't had a problem-free interaction with a company in quite a while. Customer Service today has become "Customer Non-Service". They even called me a few days after the guy put them back up to ensure everything was okay. I would recommend them, and I will go to them when I get my patio blinds. I was going to go with someone else. Still want Hunter Douglas, but maybe not so much.

The blinds for the bay window and family room look great and function beautifully. Linda Larson was our very personable sales person/designer from 3 Day Blinds. She offered great suggestions and excellent customer service. The bay window blinds and the Luminettes look great and function beautifully. When we saw how the cotton-linen fabric looked on the installed Roman shade, we realized we wanted a narrower fit and a less wrinkle-prone fabric. Linda and the people at 3 Day Blinds couldn't have been more accommodating . They really wanted us to be happy with the finished product. We picked a different fabric (which is in production). We are very impressed with 3 Day Blinds and Linda Larson..
Description of Work: We had 3-day Blinds own blind brand put in our kitchen bay window. We also bought Hunter Douglas Luminette "blinds" for a large patio door in our family room. Finally, we had a Roman shade made and installed over our kitchen sink.

From what I know its an A. It's a rental property and I haven't heard anything negative from the tenet. They were easy for me to set up with so I am going to assume that it was a good job. My tenets are kind of particular, they like stuff to work properly. I would use them again.

Everything went great. The price was pretty competitive. The lady who called me to go out and measure and go out and make suggestions, I wasn't there, she was really helpful with suggestions, keeping within a budget, and she worked with me to work with the price to get it to where we needed it to be at. She worked to give me any discounts that were available etc. She told me what she thought was necessary and what was not necessary. I know they kind of tend to be more expensive but she didn't try and sell me the most expensive options, told me what was needed and what wasn't, and as I mentioned she actively worked to provide me discounts. They kept in contact.

The sales rep was professional and thorough. The delivery and installation, however was quite another story. The delivery was over a week late. There was no notification. I had to make calls just to get the shipping numbers to track. I purchased a take down/disposal with the total package. The installer left the pieces and parts on the floor as he proceeded through the home. He left all ten boxes that the blinds came in in my living room for me to break down and dispose of myself.

They were great, but they were expensive and it took longer. It really was not their fault. It was during that strike out in California when they had the goods come in from Europe. The price was really more than what I should have vouched. I can get it cheaper. It was good quality. They have a designer that comes and then, they have an installer that comes. The designer was very professional so she gets an A rating. The first installer was also an A for the January visit. For the March visit, the designer was still good, but the installer was not so good. The second installer could have done a better job.
