Went well. No complaints. They worked fast; advised me when they had to leave to empty the truck. They were back to finish the job in the amount of time they specified. Nice, personable, professional crew. Will be hiring them again.

I scheduled the service online for same day and they came from the Frankfort, IL area. I received e-mail confirmation of scheduled arrival window. Within 2 hours of scheduling this, they arrived. First, Cory called to let me know when they would arrive. Once Cory and Steve arrived, I showed them the entry points to the attic areas. I was told that I couldn't get an estimate before starting the work because they didn't know how much they would find, and since they rate by volume it wouldn't be accurate. I knew what the maximum was if they filled the truck so I was okay with it and asked them to start working on it. Most of what was in the attic ended up being empty boxes, but it was worth it to have someone come and do the worst of the work. There were just a few items that could actually be donated/used, but not much. I managed to save aside some chinaware that is very pretty. I will say that the truck draws attention because of those Hoarding shows on television, but being a Professional Organizer myself, I am contributing to the overall openmindedness of the neighborhood by showing others that "it's okay, you don't have to be a hoarder to use this service. Nothing to be ashamed of." They ended up filling the truck, although it was a small truck. While their prices are higher than if you did this yourself, you have to compensate for the physical labor that goes into such work. I wore my safety glasses and gloves as well. There were 2 truck tires for which they charged $12 each.

My experience was great. I called on Saturday and spoke with an agent, who explained the process to me quickly and clearly. I booked an appointment for 8 to 10 am the following Tuesday (3 days later). The driver called half an hour before he was to show up to let me know when he would arrive. The driver and his assistant showed up on time, in their uniforms, and they were polite and pleasant to deal with. I showed them what had to be taken away, they went over the price and process again, and then got to work. While they were working, they were very conscientious about not getting mud on my carpet, since it was raining that day. When the work was over, they showed me how much the truck was filled, and told me the price, which I happily paid. They said they will try to clean up and donate any items where possible, and other items (like old non-working appliances) will be recycled as much as possible. If I have a lot of items to get rid of, or large appliances that I can't move myself that have to be disposed of, I will definitely call them again.

They came. They put it in their truck. They left. So simple!

ds It went well and they came when they said they were going to come. They had to come back to fill a second truck. The price was pretty good and it was very easy to schedule them.

They were very good and efficient. They were on time for the job. The only drawback was the price, which was too high. I may not use their services again because of the price.

Fine, but the price was out of line

They called before arriving and were actually a little early. They were polite, courteous and worked quickly. My only qualm is that I had several pieces of wood planks (some fairly large) that needed to be removed, and one of the workers decided it would be easier to toss those pieces off of my back porch instead of walking them down. Since this was in a third-floor, residential building, doing this was not only unsafe but also irritated my first-floor neighbor (understandably). He stopped as soon as she said something, but he should not have done that in the first place. Other than that, they were inexpensive and got the job done.

I called Chris at 1-800-Got-Junk. He came over within an hour of my call to give me an on site estimate. We were able to agree on a price. I thought I would have to wait several days to schedule a pick up. Chris had a truck at my residence within the hour. The two young men who made the pick up completed the task quickly. All items were removed from my garage. They even swept my garage. I would definitely use this vendor again in the future if the need arose. It was almost too easy.

I booked it through the website. On the day, they called to confirm time. They called when they were on their way. Came promptly, and 2 guys quickly loaded the stuff in their truck. Nice, courteous, and friendly guys. They both wore 1-800-GotJunk uniforms. They charged only the amount hauled off, rather than the whole truck (actually, it think they under charged a little bit!) Unlike a dumpster, it doesn't sit there for weeks before being hauled off, and the guys do all the work! I was pleasantly suprized with the whole experience.

FANTASTIC! They called before arrival, they were very professional, left NO mess, and best of all... when you want them, YOU set the pick up time vs them dictating the pick up time! Biggest bang for the buck!!

I am remodeling a small bathroom and all the standard junk was piled neatly on the driveway. My contactor called this company because he has done business with them in the past. The men arrived promptly on the day and time promised. As they were looking at the pile of junk, I asked them also to take wood that was stacked under my deck - located right next to the bathroom junk. Both men "groaned" like this was a big deal! The deck is raised about three feet off the ground and I had stacked the wood under there myself with no problem. Then they try to tell me that there is different pricing for the cement/tile portion of the junk....their "estimate" was going to be over $800 for removing eveything! My contractor immediately tried to call their manager since they had recently completed a similar job in Elmhurst for less than $300. The manager did not answer his call but did answer when the men on site placed the call. All of a sudden, the price dropped to $518. Needless to say, the 1-800-Got-Junk men were asked to leave the premises without completing the job. My contractor has placed a call the Corporate office to complain about the outrageous pricing of this job and the discrepancy in pricing among the franchisees.

They charge by the how much they haul- I had to change the date several times and they were very good at rescheduling. They were efficient, professional, and very clean. I would recommend them to others.

Very easy and the cost seemed a bit high but it was nice to have it done so quickly and we didn't have to lift a finger.

I called Saturday morning, and they were able to come out right away. I think a truck showed up about 40 minutes after I called, which was great. Two young guys brought the stuff up from our basement. They had a hard time with our freezer, but my husband helped and out it went. We have a tricky curved staircase which makes it hard to move things up or down. It was great to get rid of all that junk, I've wanted to get rid of that freezer for years, and it was worth it just for that.

They were very punctual and professional. They were very friendly, the cost is very reasonable for the work that they do, they're also very convenient. I would recommend them to others.

They came on time, estimated the job and then stuck to their original estimate, even though they had to make a return visit and spend a lot more time than they planned. To cope with that piano, they rescheduled the date and added a third man. It still took extra time. (We had narrowed the access stairway since the piano had been brought in 20 years before, so the job was a great deal more difficult.) Marco and his crew stuck with it and managed to leverage the piano out without doing a bit of damage to the doorway or masonry around the stairs.

1-800-Got-Junk was quite professional. They came on time. We knew they were good because we had used them a couple of years ago with success. They are on time and work very quickly. I thought their price was fine for all of the work they did.

They did a great job - everything was cleaned up and there was no damage to the walls.

They came when they were scheduled. I'm moving and had a lot of junk in the basement, including an old pool table which they broke up with sledge hammers. There were only 2 guys and they took up a very heavy old metal desk, plus some wooden bookcases on a dolly which was theirs. They took an old refrigerator from the garage and came back 2 days later for another load. They cleaned up my basement and garage, were very courteous and very hard-working. They hauled all this stuff up from the basement and were nice about it, but I know it was very hard work.
