They have actual humans answering their phones promptly. They were on time for both appointments and called when they said they would with a precise arrival time on the day of the work. Their quotes were solid and they took the time to clearly explain why they were recommending the work. They also provided before and after pictures. They did not try to upsell and applied no pressure to engage them for additional work, despite having opportunities to do so. In fact, they recommended cheaper alternatives to solving drafts down one chimney as I was pursuing more expensive solutions with them, and we ended up saving about $1,600 over what I had originally thought we needed. While we didn’t get multiple quotes like usual, my impression is they were probably on the expensive side for the work performed, but competence, trustworthiness, and professionalism are worth paying for."
