Description of Work: Dishwasher was not draining.

Description of Work: My 13 year old Kenmore Elite gas dryer had developed various control and sensing issues. Humidity sensing drying didn't work. Timed dry time selection was stuck on 40 minute and had stopped at one minute and wouldn't restart. The technician arrived as promised and did a full diagnostic. Humidity sensing was a connector that had come loose, but heat sensing was bad because the blower motor was going bad. So he preplaced the blower motor and blower (modular unit). He also replaced the gas valve solenoids because they were reaching their useful life and are pretty cheap to do while the machine is taken apart. Timed dry time selection problems would require replacing the top panel and circuit board for $297 which I decided not to do. The technician had no problem with that decision. I watched the entire repair, which spread out over a couple days because the blower and motor had to be ordered overnight. I would recommend Ted's Appliance Repair to others.

Description of Work: I called Ted's to have my washing machine repaired. I was pleased with the service - professional, timely, and reasonably priced.

Description of Work: We had some issues with things freezing in the refrigerator. They adjusted the Freezer thermostat and rechecked in a couple of weeks. This seems to have corrected the problem.

Description of Work: Technician tried to remove the ink stains in my dryer. Only a solvent that would also take the paint off the dryer drum would work. He verified that the damage was cosmetic and that the ink would not transfer to my clothing. I will definitely call him again.

Description of Work: I was having problems with my icemaker. The service person quickly determined it was an issue with the fan, replaced it and everything started working again. He was punctual and professional.

Description of Work: Sean came out to perform testing on my fridge to find a freon leak. Was determined to be located in an area that would prove too costly to repair (could literally buy a new one vs fixing). Was contacted by Ted's before the appointment to confirm this might be case and If I wanted to cancel to save on the service charge. Sean provided valuable information and great customer service, as well as Ted's overall. Definitely worth the service charge, highly recommended!

Description of Work: Our technician, Mike, was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced the ignitor switch on my oven and replaced the rollers on my clothes dryer. He also, installed elbows on the dryer vent to add more space between the dryer and the wall so the tube would not be crushed and improve dry time.

Description of Work: My Bosch dishwasher was leaking on the right side bottom of the door. Sean came out (and as always happens it wouldn't leak while he was there) and determined that it was probably the interior gasket that was leaking, so he ordered the part and came back and replaced it. Unfortunately, this was not the problem and I called him to tell him and he came back the next day (he did not recharge me for the visit) to recheck the dishwasher. Finally it leaked while he was there and he determined it was the door lock that was bad. He ordered the new lock and returned several days later and replaced the lock. My Bosch is no longer leaking. Sean was clean, neat and very pleasant. I would highly recommend Ted's Appliance Service.
