Description of Work: Chief Bauer has been my go to company for HVAC maintenance for the last six years, since I bought a new unit from them. They come every Spring and Winter for regular maintenance. Every person that has come to the house has been professional and knowledgeable. The appointments are easy to set up, and the person arranging the appointments has always been kind.

+ -1 moreOur furnace was only working intermittently, so we called Chief Bauer to take a look at it. Their guys came during the scheduled service window and spent 3 hours working on the furnace. They found some problems and let me know what was going on, but when they left I discovered that our unit was blowing cool air. This meant we went from having intermittent heat to having no heat. As soon as I discovered the problem I called them back and asked to have someone sent over. I was informed that they were overbooked for the evening, but they would put me on a waiting list and took my phone number. We did not receive a call that night OR the next day. Essentially they left us high and dry with no heat and no attempt to fix the problem. Finally, one of their service men took calls over his walkie talkie about other customers and their complaints while I was sitting in the same room and the dispatcher called them while they were still working on my furnace to tell them to "leave that job and go to the next one".
Description of Work: They performed a diagnostic on our furnace that was not working properly and disconnected / reconnected several electrical components in an attempt to make the furnace function continuously.

Description of Work: Replace ancient boiler in house, service radiator valves, etc.... Replace water heater.
