Very honest! Told me I didn't need the chimney cleaned, which he easily could have done and charged me for. He also found a masonry problem I didn't mention to him but had been told about years ago. I was very impressed with his professionalism and will be using them again.

Sean was a delight to have in the house. He was very considerate of our furnishings and our animals. He alerted me to some problems with me of our furnaces and let me know that the batteries on one of our thermostats needed to be replaced. He did not leave any trace that he had been here! Everything was perfectly clean & put back in place. He was very polite, also.

Called them to clean my fireplace chimney and discussed air ducts too. I had them do the fireplace and was happy with the work. I thought the price for air duct cleaning was too high, and was not going to use them for this but after doing some research I found out that you really get what you pay for when it comes to duct cleaning. He took his time (almost 4 hours, as opposed to 45 min for the last company), and even explained what vents were connected to what rooms - a mystery to me since I bought this house. I really felt he cared about doing a good job. I don't see dust below the vents for a change, and my allergies are bothering me a lot less already. Plus, he was very nice to my dog.

Shaun was on time and pleasant. He came out on the coldest day of the year, early in the day. He removed his boots after entering and, at my request, offered information/education about the use and upkeep of my fireplace. He assessed the chimney and did not recommend cleaning it at this time. He installed the cap quickly and walked me through the estimates to complete other work in the spring.

Everything was straight-forward. They recommended a regular cleaning after a brief inspection. Everything was done in 45 minutes to an hour and there was no mess. We would definitely use them again.

We called to have them replace a chimney cap that had fallen off and asked them to check our chimney attached to the hot water heater. We knew there was a leak, and weren't sure if we needed a cleaning or a new liner. They came out and took pictures of the inside showing us where the old clay liner had collapsed and was blocking the venting. They installed the liner, gave us a new chimney cap, cleaned out all the debris inside (we were shocked at how much crud there was inside) and they even sealed the hole in the wall. They did a phenomenal job, the workman kept the house clean and tidy. We also have a fireplace that won't work because it shares another chimney with our furnace, and they gave us several options to get our fireplace working again. We plan on using them for that work in the future.

Shawn was detail oriented, courteous and thorough. He discovered several problem areas and advised us on some possible solutions beyond the scope of his work. He showed us what was removed from our vents and told us before and after C.F.M. meter readings to demonstrate the improvement of dryer venting. He was conscious of leaving the areas clean.

They were timely, the office was thorough calling to confirm the appointment and time of arrival. The job was done to my satisfaction.

Kingsborough cleaned my dryer vent today and did an outstanding job. My dryer vent has been getting clodded repeatedly for years. Kingsborough found and removed a baffle in the duct that was causing the problem. I highly recommend Kinsgborough, worth every penny!

Well. It took less than 1 hour, they cleaned the chimney and the dryer vent and discussed issues that we might have in the future with our chimney.

Even though Kingsboro folks were out of town at the time of our first call, we received prompt returned calls and scheduled our inspection for their first day back to work upon their return. While inspecting up on the roof, Sean took video to show us the damage to the caps. We talked pros/cons of replacements and addition of rain caps. Inside, inspection showed that two of the three fireplace flues were clean and didn't need sweeping. The third fireplace is the culprit - a very wide opening and a double-sided fireplace - previous owner had a fire going at almost all times while at home. The soot and buildup was incredible - and smoke has been backing into the rooms. Sean swept that monster flue - clean gear and careful attention to keeping work site clean, too. The damper is actually warped (I believe from excessive heat) and will not close completely so there goes the heating bill. Sean suggested several possible solutions for us to consider - all depend on our preferences and budget. He's taking a few days to prepare a quote and that's fine with me. Lots of information to digest. I've called with questions after our appointment and he's returned my calls promptly. Stay tuned! So far, so good.

I called the company on a Thursday afternoon and they came to clean the chimney the next day. They were very pleasant and professional on the phone as well as in person. The workman came on time after calling an hour head as promised. He was very efficient, knowledgeable and thorough. He had suggestions as to how we could make our fireplace more efficient, but was not pushy in any way. A very easy, pleasant transaction! Why can't all service companies operate like this?

They were very professional, and called to say they'd be a little late on the morning they were due. Actually I didn't expect them at all as we were in the midst of a blizzard, but they appeared and did the work without disrupting the household. When they left everything was very clean. I highly recommend them.

This company was very good. They were extremely tidy. They put down mats on the floor when they moved their equipment in and out. They noticed we needed a header for ventilation and they installed that for us.
