Wide Open West

Description of Work: Wide Open West (WOW) has been our provider for cable, internet, and phone for many years. The price is right for the services we need. However, we have had to renegotiate our contract when we felt they raised their prices too high. They have friendly, available, and knowledgable customer service personnel. The few times we have had to get someone out to our house to repair or replace equipment, they're punctual, friendly, and get the job done.

Description of Work: Was looking for a Internet service provider alternative. The pricing offered was very competitive, the sales person was highly responsive and to the point in putting together a quote for exactly what we wanted. The installer was on schedule, worked with us on how we wanted the cable run, tested the service and had us up and running and the service quality and performance was as advertised. |Overral, very professional service, and are happy with the service.

Description of Work: I have been a WOW customer for many years and every chance I have I tell people what a great company they are. I have been having periodic outage of my internet. Customer Service person was very helpful and instead of sending me another modem, which I had wanted, he set up a service call with a 2 hour timeframe. The tech was not only on time but even a little early. Apparently there was a bad ground block which was replaced and he reconfigured the wiring to the modem. In the end a new modem would not have corrected the problem so I am grateful that the Customer Service person suggested a service call. Every time I experience a problem or have a question they are polite, knowledgeable and have corrected the problem in a timely manner. I'm extremely happy to be a WOW customer and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: TWO APPOINTMENTS WERE MADE TO ESTABLISH DSL SERVICE. SECOND APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELED, WITHOUT NOTIFICATION, AND COMPANY NOW SAYS THEY CAN NOT SERVICE OUR AREA. TWO HALF DAYS WERE TAKEN AWAY FROM WORK TO MEET THE SERVICE PERSON. WHEN CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS CONTACTED IT TOOK ESCALATION TO A MANAGER TO DETERMINE WHY THE APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELED. TWO REPS WERE TALKED TO AND WERE VERY UNCONCERNED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. CALL BACK AND EXPLANATION WAS PROMISED IN 10 MINUTES...FOUR HOURS LATER, WE''RE STILL WAITING!
