They did everything they said they would at the time they said.

I had a great experience. They did a nice job, and everything went well. It was very very cold and my furnace was working over the holiday weekend. They were very polite and very helpful. They went out of their way in the middle of the night to make an extra step to get a part.

We ended up going with our neighbor. They were very nice and the guy was very knowledgeable. Everything was fine. Their quote was high. We found through research that the installation is the most important part and our neighbor has a heating and air business. We felt that he would be careful putting it in and he was a third of the cost. We had gotten other quotes and he was the highest but they were all over the board. He was very polite and professional. He knew what he was talking about. The only reason was the price. He was a nice guy and did a good job of coming and looking at everything. He was responsive and we would call them again.

They didn't stand out with anything in particular that was fantastic or bad. The guy was pretty straightforward and gave us a good impression. They are a bit pricey.

Contacted Shamrock, came out the next day, removed old furnance and installed a new top-of-the-line furnance with new sheet metal work all in one day. I thought the work was performed promptly, professionally and competently. The Shamrock crew gave a honest quote and were friendly. Did a thorough job of clean-up afterwards. Would use again.

We have had Shamrock service our furnace and air conditioner since 1991 and bought our last furnace and air conditioner from them. Starting at least a year ago, they have been using a boroscope to look at the outside of the heat exchanger. Each time they've found "cracks." Each time I've looked at them, and as an engineer who has inspected heat exchangers at nuclear power plants, I've explained that what they were seeing was (1) a manufacturing defect and, this year (2) a tube weld. They definitely are not cracks. A year ago, the technician said "we'll service it this time, but never again. Six months ago, service with no problem -- and they renewed the service contract. This time, the technician refused to service it at all. A few points for Shamrock to consider: 1) If the technicians really found cracks each time, the cracks would show up in the same place each time and get bigger. The fact that they change position each time, doesn't follow any normal crack behavior that I've seen in over 10 years of doing heat exchanger inspections. 2) As a homeowner, replacing the entire furnace is on my list of things to do in the next 5 years, because it is getting close to 20 years old. Shamrock did the last one; they won't do the new one. 3) The heat exchanger is supposedly under warranty (per the technician and also per the Bryant web page that warranties them for 20 years or life). I find it hard to believe that I would be charged $840 for labor and miscellaneous parts. If it's under warranty, I shouldn't be paying for the new heat exchanger.

They were professional, timely and honest. They were no nonsense and they didn?t up charge. They were easy to work with and were definitely terrific on scheduling. I would use them again in future.

Shamrock sent someone out the same week and they were very efficient in installing the new furnace with the corresponding exhaust pipes.The technicians answered all of my questions about the new furnace. They also re-caulked a whistling humidifier for no extra charge. I have been very impressed with the service and professionalism of the Shamrock team. I use them for all of our maintenance and repair needs. I'm very glad that I found them back in 2006 when I "Searched the List."

They are very considerate. They always call ahead and give me a time window for their arrival. They also put on booties to protect my floors. One thing they do that enhances their professionalism is their straight talk. They don't try to sell me something that I don't need. I will definitely use them again.

The salesmen arrived on time. He did not use any high pressure tactics and explained everything in detail along with recommendations. They were also somewhat flexible on price as I was getting multiple quotes. In the end I went with these guys due to the excellent 10 year all inclusive warranty. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive. Where the manufacturer would not extend a long term warranty or a limited time frame the company purchases extended warranties to get all equipment to the 10 year term. Some parts (like the Heat Exchanger are lifetime). The crew of 4 arrived on time and completed all work as promised. Probably the only check mark I can say is the duct cleaning I did find in the basement some things that DID NOT get cleaned out in 1 location, but these were actually pieces of concrete that were probably in the vents since construction. The cleaner did comment that there were things pulled out (like nails) that were probably in the ducts since they were installed. The 2 upper floors were all cleaned very well. It was minor and I did not complain, my guess is that fans are only so powerful and can't pick up large objects but are perhaps strong enough to move them toward one of the grates. I did the install in 6/16/2008 and waited until the winter to see if the promised energy savings materialized. My gas bills and electric bills have been significantly less than in the past. Overall everything went smoothly.

Dan was nice and friendly, but replaced a special allergen air filter with a standard air filter that was the wrong size without telling me. They also had to come back again to fix a bracket and to make sure everything was working properly again.

I called for an estimate 3 days ago and the person who answered the phone was not able to do so. She said that the technician would call me back, which has not happened.

We are very happy with them. They explain exactly what they are doing and encourage the clients to get involved, so you always know what the problem is with your heating and A/C unit. We are very happy with them.

Had a neat camera and I was able to look inside my furnace as well. Very professional, pleasant and efficient. Would use again.

We had one little problem - some bricks were knocked over, but it was fixed quickly and pleasantly. They did a very good job, and it was done faster than expected.

The repair took approximately 30 minutes to diagnose and fix, and we were charged a flat rate of $319, which I think is excessive for the amount of time required for the job (I researched the part a bit, and the part itself would cost (retail) approximately $40-50.) I was also charged a $99 diagnostic charge on top of the $319 repair. When I called they were very polite on the phone, and we got a call approximately 20 minutes before they arrived to let us know they were on the way.

Salesman come out in a timely manner and completed a bid on the spot, which was very competitive. Installation date was selected based on my schedule once we decided to go with Shamrock. A crew of four arrived when they said they would, performed all the work in one day, including a duct cleaning for our 4000+ square foot home. They were extremely neat and left the house and yard as they found it. It's definitely a company I would use again.

I thought they were very professional and took pride in their work.

Installation was set for October 13, 2006. The technician/installer Tom and his assistant Scott, my salesman arrived promptly at 8:00 am. They proceeded to put on booties over their shoes and lay down drop cloths. Removal of the old unit proceeded smoothly until a skillfully placed 16d nail halted removal of the cabinet. (The builder used this trick to prevent the overnight theft of furnaces.) Removal was completed and installation of the new unit proceeded smoothly and professionally. Tom and Scott were a real team. They worked well together. Gas piping was done very neatly. Thermostat and humidistat were upgraded at this time. Tom and Scott were conscientious and professional throughout the installation process. The furnace performed well all winter. Now, I will be calling them to schedule the installation of my A/C condenser. Then my system will be complete. I may have spent less for a new system elsewhere but, price is not always a good measure of a fair deal.

On the first visit they checked the furnace and replaced the humidifier filter. They advised that better humidity could be done by installing a bypass switch on the humidifier. The second worker installed the bypass switch that made no difference. He then installed the wrong size furnace filter. It makes me wonder what else he didn't do right.

I was very impressed with the quality of service provided by all personnel. Denis carefully surveyed the entire house and took many measurements and notes. He patiently answered a multitude of dumb questions. On installation day, three technicians arrived at the appointed time and were very courteous and professional. They also protected my carpets with drop cloths and shoe covers. But I must single out Tom the installer. He tore down my massive old furnace/AC and installed the new unit, working all day in a cramped, hot, gravel-lined earthen crawl space. It was miserable working down there, assembling the unit and doing a lot of sheet metal work. But he never once lost his temper or his cool despite my many questions. The new machine looks and runs great. Shamrock was the right choice for my heating/ac contractor.

THEY WERE ON TIME. IT WAS A GOOD PRICE, IT WAS LESS THAN WHAT I HAD BEEN QUOTED FROM OTHER PEOPLE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB.

SHAMROCK INSTALLED MY FURNACE AND AIR CONDITIONER AT LEAST 8 YEARS AGO. SINCE THEN, I HAVE PAID THE REASONABLE PRICE FOR A SERVICE CONTRACT. SHAMROCK SENDS ME A POSTCARD TWICE A YEAR TO HAVE THE FURNACE AND THE AIR CONDITIONER SERVICED. THE SERVICE CONTRACT KEEPS THESE CALLS AT A LOW PRICE, AND IT PUTS ME IN A PRIORITY POSITION IF I EVER NEED EMERGENCY WORK DONE. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH SHAMROCK. SOMEONE ANSWERS THE PHONE AND POLITELY SETS UP THE APPOINTMENTS. I RECEIVE A REMINDER CALL THE DAY BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT. I ALSO RECEIVE A CALL WHEN THE SERVICE MAN IS ON HIS WAY TO MY HOME. THE SERVICEMEN ARE ALWAYS VERY POLITE AND EFFICIENT. THEY PUT PLASTIC COVERS ON THEIR SHOES WHEN THEY ARE IN MY HOME. THEY EXPLAIN THEIR WORK, AND TELL ME WHEN SOMETHING WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED IN THE FUTURE.

TECHNICIAN CAME EXACTLY WHEN PROMISED. WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY, THEY EVEN GOT A MAJOR PART NEEDED IN A DAY. THE FURNACE WENT OUT WHEN IT GOT COLD, AND THE TECHNICIAN GOT MY HOUSE HEATED UP QUICKLY!
