Shamrock Heating & A/C

2 years ago Shamrock installed a hot water tank. Great job!. So when I needed a new furnace and AC. I got 5 bids. Shamrocks bid was the lowest, with the best equipment, and best installers, and the best bid. They are the BEST!!

I called and they called me back in ten minutes. A guy came out that same day. Even though it seemed pricey, I decided to replace the A/C condenser and coil. They came back and installed it first thing the next morning. Rob was extremely professional and punctual, which I really appreciated. I feel like I paid a little more than if I had shopped around, but they got the job done fast and did what they said they were going to. So it seems like money well spent.

Excellent. The service tech was extremely knowledgeable and found problems I didn't know i had. He repaired and replaced broken parts and both furnaces are now in tip top shape.

Very impressed with Shamrock. Called at 8am on Saturday morning and had the service performed by 9am the same day. They did a great job explaining what the problem was and throughly checking other items. Was happy with the service and signed up for their maintenance plan.

Did not have part as A/C unit is 30 yrs. old. Returned next day with part. Took a while to figure out how to wire up. Also performed inspection and tune up of unit - 3 hours total .Discovered that night that unit would not shut off. Called next day and someone else came out to figure out the problem. Problem finally resolved after 3 hours. Has been running great since then.

We elected to do a recharge only (without finding and repairing the leak) and not put any more money into our old and outdated system. Time will tell if it was a good decision.

Todd and Chris of Shamrock Heating and Air Conditioning have been wonderful to us. We bought a new heating and air conditioning unit back in 2012. This year the heater started acting sporadically. They came out immediately and determined the circuit board was the problem. They replaced it no charge. We are very pleased with our investment.

Very well, the tech was friendly and professional and gave me a impression of honesty.
However, the price on installing a new system was a bit misleading. The advertised price didn't include labor

Woke up with the house cold. Furnace was out. Spent a good while tinkering with it myself - we have a lousy old furnace. Tried a few things but couldn't figure it out, so I called Shamrock. Glad they were able to get a guy out within a couple of hours on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend - no complaints there! It took the technician a while to figure out what was wrong, but eventually he replaced the control module and that solved the problem. So we've got heat again. BUT. The part he replaced costs 96 bucks online. Shamrock charged 347 for it. That's a huge markup - even for HVAC. The technician offered to put the old busted module back in so I could replace it myself. I thought about it, but opted to go ahead and pay. I don't think the technician knew the markup would be so much. But I wish he'd given me at least a ball park estimate what the cost was going to be. And I wish his company wouldn't gauge customers so bad for parts. Good repairman, but bad experience overall.

They've been wonderful. We use them every 6 months. One flaw that I found was they didn't catch was that we had a lot of leaks in the duct work around our furnace and our crawl space and I ended up having to do that myself, we didn't follow up with them to ask them why they didn't check on it but that's something that I caught like 2 months ago or so and I repaired that myself. They've been great and we've been using them before we moved here, we used them in our old place. Their cleaning service is phenomenal and it's not nasty, I know there's a lot of people who don't do duct cleaning because they're terrified that the dusts are going to get everywhere in the house and we have zero clean-up after they are done. We're paying an annual service fee.

I've been a customer with Shamrock Heating for over 30 years. I am always satisfied and happy with their work and pricing. They are quality people.

Great. It was VERY very cold over the holiday weekend. But once Shamrock fixed the furnace we were good to go.
