RaiseRite came out very quickly to look at my front porch and provide an estimate. I emailed with Jay from RaiseRite several times to ask various questions and go over a few of the options before deciding on the work to be done. Jay was very responsive and helpful, and I got the work scheduled relatively soon. I had a very large crack in my porch from the concrete settling over 15 years, but RaiseRite did an excellent job raising it back up and making the porch look good as new! I would highly recommend their services to people looking to boost their curb appear from sunken concrete porches. My wife is super appreciative of the work and the porch looks fantastic!!

[member name removed] Sorry to hear you did not receive an estimate. We have checked our records and do not have any of your information on file in our database, estimate request log, or e-mail system. We are generally in the Downers Grove area 2-3 times a week. We would be more than happy to provide you with an estimate if you are still in need of one. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we do not have you in our system.

Raise-Rite came in on the day scheduled and completed the job in less than an hour. They drilled holes in the patio and injected Polyurethane under the patio to raise and level the patio and railing. They did an outstanding job! By the way, I was quoted $750 for the job, but was called by Raise-Rite later that day and was told that the job wasn't as complicated as they thought. What they did do is adjust the job and it only cost $500. WOW! What other company would do that? I would recommend this company without hesitation.
Description of Work: Our concrete patio had dropped over the winter and our rail around the patio had also pulled away from the posts. Raise-Rite came in and leveled the patio and rail.

They came out and said that basically it was a weather condition that caused our driveway to raise. The frost caused it. They were proactive. They did a great job. They referred me to someone else.

A number of years ago we had them do some work for us. We were satisfied then and decided that since we knew their work we wanted their help again. I had to hunt them down. The company still had a record of their previous service to us. We were pleased.

This company was recommended by the people who did some floor and foundation lifting/leveling for us. The salesman, Daryl, explained the process and products used very well. The schedule changed a few times due to work being done in the house and he easily provided a new date for us with each change. The crew doing the work, Jay and I didn't get the other person's name, were very professional. They explained every thing to us again and answered any questions we had. A piece of their product came up through a crack in the floor and Jay gave it to me to see how the finished product actually looked and felt. The time to complete the job was a lot quicker that I thought it would be. I discussed with them the possibility of them raising the floor in my garage. They explained the difference between that kind of work and what I had done. I feel they gave me a good understanding of it to help me make a decision. A good company and great people to deal with.

We are sorry to read you were unhappy with the caulking work. We completed the work on 11/9/2013, and never received any notification of dissatisfaction or problems. One of our supervisors will be out to inspect the work. However, if any work or caulking is necessary we will be unable to complete any work until Spring 2014 due to the weather and cold temperatures. We would welcome the opportunity to correct or remedy the situation if it is necessary. We will respond as soon as possible dependent upon the weather. Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We appreciate your input and feedback.

Estimator arrived on time. We went over what needed to be done. He made suggestions and really listened to what my objectives were. He explained what I could expect and not expect. What was doable and not doable. Really understood the product/process and didn't try to sell me what i didn't need. The price was lower than some information sources had led me to believe. I accepted the quote and scheduled the work - about three weeks out. The crew arrived, we went over what needed to be be done, made some changes in application points, and the work was completed in about three hours. The work was done for the price quoted and they actually cleaned up after themselves. I had heard a few horror stories about mudjacking going horribly wrong but these people knew what they were doing. If they didn't, I can see how it could get out of hand real quick.

I telephoned several concrete lifting companies as found in the phone book. Two were interested in doing the work. Raise rite sent an employee out to inspect the site and determine what needed to be done. He then faxed over the legal contract which was clear in explaining the project to be done and all pertinent information. When I telephone to ask questions, the employee was very professional and answered my questions clearly. I checked Angie's List and found this company to be rated very highly. We needed the work done soon -- before the estate sale later this month. They were very responsive to our need for prompt scheduling and fitted us into the schedule. They made a special effort to do that. That was much appreciated. When the work was to be done, they were right on time. They did the work skillfully and cleaned up after themselves. The company advised me ahead of time to have a hose connected and at the ready so that no time was lost getting this out for them. I would recommend them. The other conrete lifting company did not make a good impression and did not provide a professional contract. They were listed on Angie's List, but had no information reported for several years. We are glad that we did not select them to do the job.
Description of Work: The front sidewalk from the stoop to the point at which it attaches to the driveway had unevenly sunk. There were no cracks/breaks in the individual sidewalk concrete squares, but there were three areas in which the squares shifted and left irregular cracks and dangerous uneven edges where the squares butted together.. This was unsightly and dangerous. We were afraid someone might trip and fall or catch their fancy heel in the space and get hurt. The provider came to the site promptly, wrote and faxed an estimate in legal contract form, answered our questions per phone, sent three workers to the site as scheduled with us, raised and leveled the concrete perfectly. They were very accomodating in scheduling, professional, nice, and skilled in doing the work. They will soon come back to caulk between the squares of leveled concrete.

Unfortunately, I have a small job to be done and this contractor has a minimum price per job. Even lowering his minimum because we're in the same town (to do the work at his convenience, when he was in the area), he could not compete with the other A-rated contractor we chose from Angie's List.

There's two separate slaps, one that is closer to the home. They said I might be able to get by with just raising one part of it. They weren't trying to just get the most amount of money out of me. He was honest with me. He wasn't trying to force me into decisions or work. We were most impressed by them because they came up with a totally new solution than any other contractor. We will probably go through with services with them.
Description of Work: They came out and we were looking to replace concrete. They said we wouldn't have to do a complete replacement. They said we could just mudjack the concrete. So their estimate was a lot less than we expected. They gave me two estimates $600-800 for just raising part of it. They gave me another estimate around $1,800 for raising both parts of the concrete.

Work went well; they had to come back to refill the holes due to the weather. Overall was a good job and would use them in the future.
Description of Work: Scheduled them to raise concrete patio and fill in under step where it had worn and where critters were living. They drilled about 5-6 holes and filled in under patio and filled in the step. They also finished the sides of the step where it had worn away and where critters had dug holes.

We had Raise-rite give an estimate in 2011 and do the work in 2012. They were awesome - they leveled about 20 feet of our front walk which had sunk more than 5 inches at the point where it met the stoop, and as they worked they re-positioned the sidewalk slabs to align properly at each seam. The patches on the holes drilled in the slabs are nearly invisible, and they cleaned up after themselves from the slurry that had splattered around and from the muddy tracks on the driveway from their cart. Final result is great - they raised the sidewalk up to the proper front step height and it is level, and I didn't have to do the backbreaking, expensive work of breaking up the sidewalk to remove and replace! Definitely would recommend!

Estimate given almost immediatly. Scheduled services after ground was thawed and the job was completed on April 25, 2013 within about 2 hours. So far I am satisfied with the work and would recommend Raise Rite without reservation. They were very professional and answered all of my questions. The job came within budget and also a 2 year warrenty which is great. Thanks Angie
Description of Work: We just received the estimate and they will schedule the service once the ground is thawed. Once we had called for an estimate they were at our home the next day. I had a simple front walkway which led up to our entrance. The walkway sank so far down, that the last step to get onto our porch was over 18 inches which prevented our elderly guest from being able to use it. I call Raise-Rite and they came out within two weeks (weather a primary factor), completed the job in about 1.5 hours. I paid additional for caulking which I was happy I did. They took care of that the following day. I would definitely use them again.

The work took about an hour. They answered all questions and were very nice. They had to drill through the ceramic tile floor and the process did very little damage to the tile floor. I was thrilled.
Description of Work: The slab beneath my townhouse cracked and was sinking in the front of the house. Raise-Rite estimator was prompt and professional and fully explained the work that would be done, how long it would take and the costs. I was quite anxious about the whole process and was quite relieved after he explained everything. The two employees that performed the work were also prompt and professional.
