It went very well. The slabs looked like bad teeth and frankly I did not expect it to come out well. I was hoping for less tripping hazards. But they did an amazing job and it looks really good. They were on-time (moved up my job, too), and were very professional. I would highly recomend this company.

Project went very well. Raise-Rite definitely was more thorough than others who gave estimates. I was concerned about one area, but Raise-Rite looked at the entire walkway - and I could see where the other sections were uneven. Other vendors did not notice this. Months later we are very happy - wish we had done it years ago. Strangely, it feels like a new walkway. Good contact with company, workers kept the area clean with this messy job, and explained after-work procedures - i.e. do not walk on for x amount of time.

I was going to use them. They were within the same rate as the one that I did choose, but they could not guarantee. They said didn't feel that it would stay up, so I didn't feel like spending a thousand dollars with them. I would have used them. They were in the middle of the road. I wanted to to use them because they were on your list. When I called them the guy said he felt as though garage slabs sink and he could not warranty it. That stopped me right there. If he would have given a warranty he would've been doing the job.

Techs used polyurethane instead of traditional sand/concrete mix. They didn't explain that any over-lifting could easily occur and couldn't be corrected. The driveway now has high-spots on opposite end of where they lifted. I called to see what options were available to correct and they did not follow-up. Additionally, there are numerous hairline cracks in the concrete slabs in the garage. If I could go back in time, I'd stay away from the polyurethane product.

Our home was being prepared for market. The front porch had sunk over the years, so we hired Raise-Rite based on the Angie's List reviews. The crew was there when I arrived. They had arrived more than 30 minutes early and started work. After a few hours, I realized that work had stopped. Although they knew I was in the house, they did not let me know they were finished. Instead, they stuck the bill in the mailbox. When I realized they were done, I went to look at the work. The porch was pulled away farther from the house and raised above the front of the threshold. It looked terrible! The crew was sitting in their truck down the street. I approached them to discuss the work but they said I had to call the office. They would not get out to look at what they had done. When I called the office, they asked for pictures of the work which I provided. However, they said nothing could be done unless I paid them additional labor costs. I was very unhappy with their work and their response.

Estimate occurred as scheduled and was provided the same day. The estimator was professional and answered all questions. Work was quickly scheduled on acceptance of the estimate, was executed on schedule, and had outstanding results, leveling the sidewalk without disturbing the adjacent landscaping and without any debris left after the work was completed. Follow up work to caulk the preexisting cracks from the settling (no new cracks were created during the work).

Office was very professional in discussing my needs over the phone and offered to provide an initial estimate if I could e-mail them photos of the relevant sidewalk slabs. When I went to their Website to fill out a request-for-evaluation, I received a prompt response from Greg Moffett, indicating that he would be by within 5 days to estimate the work. In about 5 days, I received a detailed email describing all aspects of the job, but indicating that the work I requested was not suitable for their service (lifting/'mudjacking'). I appreciated their candor in coming right out and saying that they could not help me with my problem. I continued to search for other concrete contractors on Angie's.

Water sloped towards house and now is back to its original level and pitches away. Great company from the initial contact with the office (Joyce), to the estimator (Greg), to the crew (Francisco). Price was a bit higher than competitor's, but they are from farther away and was told their crews have been with them over 15 years. Thought that was worth the extra money. Overall, a great experience with this company!

I submitted a request for an estimate online and I believe less than 24 hours I got an email from Greg, their estimator, explaining the details of the estimate process. The email explained that I didn't need to be home, they would review the area within 10 business days and email me with a proposal. As promised, within their time frame, I received a proposal that outlined the project, how they would do it and the cost. I signed the proposal, emailed it back and again, within a day, I was contacted by Joyce about a start date and was again told, because the area to be worked on was outside, nobody had to be home. The day of the project came and when I got home from work, I found my patio completely leveled and clean! I couldn't believe the difference and I didn't realize how much it had sunk. The crew cleaned up well, in fact, if one of the crew members didn't accidentally leave his coat behind, there would have been no sign that they were there, aside from the small, concrete patches from where they drilled to inject the cement underneath. I only wish they would offer caulking services too. They clearly explain and offer tips on how to caulk yourself but I am not a caulking pro, not even a caulking amateur and I just did not do a good job! I know they could have made it look better. I would gladly pay extra for that service too. But from the estimate to the proposal to the project being completed, all people I talked to were courteous, professional and great to deal with. The price was more than fair and I'm very happy with the end result.

Greg the person who did the estimate was very responsive immediately after receiving request. We corresponded by email and quickly got his visit scheduled. The workmen who came were on time, pleasant, and did a great job. This is in sharp contrast to other providers I found on Angie's List who either didn't respond to request for estimate or responded much less quickly.

I was extremely impressed with this company from start to finish. The turn around time from my initial call to request an estimate and the receipt of that estimate was extremely swift (just a few days). Everyone that I spoke to via phone and corresponded with via email was professional yet friendly and very helpful/informative. The estimate was great because it included a picture of the area that needed work and then they highlighted the areas that they'd fix with a description of what would be done. Their estimate was competitive and I was able to take advantage of a 25 dollar discount coupon that they had posted on their web page. To my delight and surprise, they were able to work with my schedule and complete the job within a week of my initial inquiry. Since I had another major rennovation scheduled, it was a blessing to have the entrance to my home leveled and made so easily accessible. The completed mud-jacking is fantastic. My front stoop is once again level as are the sidewalk segments leading up to it. The holes where they injected their materials are filled perfectly and smooth. The area upon completion of the job was clean. In short, my walkway and entrance look FANTASTIC. I am completely satisfied with the workmanship, would hire them again, and recommend them to other Angie's List members without hesitation. The people with whom I interacted made this entire process enjoyable and glitch-free. A+++ service--Thanks so much!
Description of Work: Mud-jacked our large front stoop as well as 4 segments of our concrete sidewalk. The stoop sloped steeply because the part nearest the sidewalk had sunk further than the area close to the front entrance.

It went great! There were several delicate areas which included 2 entry door, a closet door, an an adjacent bathroom. Jay checked each one to be sure they weren't jammed. Everything works fine. Then they gathered up their equipment, replaced the carpet, and moved all of our furniture back where it was. We were quite pleased. Bill Voigt
Description of Work: They came in and moved the heavy furniture from the family room into the adjacent garage. The part to be raised was the concrete floor in the family room which extended 3 ft. into the garage. Meanwhile one of the 3 men was setting up the equipment and starting to drill the first holes in the concrete. Then they moved into the family room, rolled back the carpet and began drilling holes there. At the same time another man was placing some kind of injection devices in the holes and began injecting polyurethane under the slab. The foreman, Jay, was monitoring how much the floor was raising so it wouldn't get too high.
