I have nothing negative to say about him. I wish I could have had the work done. He was a great person. The work wasn't done due to the clarity of the Big Deal. I would recommend him due to his professionalism.

I was considering purchasing new blinds because ours were looking pretty badly faded as well as dirty. So when I received a Big Deal email for the purchase of blinds, I thought I'd check it out and went to Hang & Shine's website where I discovered that they clean blinds as well. I felt like I had been living under a rock since I had no clue that such a service existed. I then read their wonderful Angie's List reviews and decided to message them through Angie's List. I received a reply from Jon within minutes who then called me to discuss my needs. I told him I wasn't sure if the blinds would be able to be cleaned. He offered to set up an appointment to make that determination and as it turned out since we were just 10 minutes away, his brother Mike was able to swing by within the hour. To my relief, Mike informed me that the blinds could be cleaned. He gave us a verbal estimate that was then emailed to me shortly after he left. I then called Jon to set up an appointment for two days later. Mike & Liz showed up punctually, took down our blinds to be cleaned at their location, brought them back within hours and rehung them. The blinds look fantastic and I'm very pleased. I appreciate Mike's honesty when he could have tried to sell me new blinds rather than clean ours. These guys were great - responsive, professional, efficient and provide a fantastic service. We'll be doing some spring/summer projects in a couple of our bedrooms and will need new blinds...I'll definitely be contacting Jon & Mike.

They were excellent. Phone calls were returned promptly and the blinds were done in just under a week. They were great about setting up times for drop off and pickup, too.

Everything was absolutely perfect. They moved the furniture so they could get to the drapes and moved everything back afterwards. They also had a very cheerful attitude.

Mike Franzone the owner came out and was polite, and professional. I had blinds that could not be cleaned because he said it would not change their appearance. (He could have charged me and cleaned them without me knowing that they wouldn't get any cleaner and may even rip). He saved me money and gave me the background about the type of blinds I had. He even helped me take down the blinds at which point they were not going to be rehung. I inquired into the possibility of having him come back to shop his extensive line of blinds. He had ideas for some of my rooms. Very happy with this company and have told friends about them.

They arrived on time, and promptly got to work. They removed all of my blinds, 20 in all, and cleaned them by a sonic-and-water method. I have 12-foot ceilings in my living room/dining room/kitchen, so it required use of an extension ladder to take down and later reinsert the blinds high up. The technicians were very careful and thorough, and highly agile in use of their ladders. They not only cleaned all of the blinds using their amazing sonic/water machine outside, but also repaired a couple of binds for me as well. The blinds look excellent -- much cleaner and brighter. I am highly satisfied!!!!

I arranged with the owner to drop off my mini blinds. He told me they would be done the following day, which they were. I picked them up and they were beautiful. The cost was reasonable and the service was excellent. I will be using them again.

I was able to reach them right away when I called. They weren’t even willing to come out my way until they learned how many blinds I had. After I told them, how many blinds, they were then willing to come out. They gave me estimated cost over the phone that I felt was unbelievable. Their prices ended up being several hundred more than I paid another company for the same job.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Mike and John. Mike returned my initial call within minutes on a Saturday, came out for measurements and prepared an estimate a few days later. Mike and John discussed some ideas with us to keep costs down, while still getting some very nice looking Hunter Douglas blinds. The blinds were ready two weeks after we placed the order. Installation took about four hours for 42 windows, and the blinds look great !

I have used Hang & Shine for years. They are extremely responsive, show up on time and do an excellent job in cleanng your blinds. Somewhat pricey but an excellent job. They will clean specialty blinds when other contracters won't touch them.

The blinds were all cleaned and they looked nice. I had 17 blinds clean and two of them were long blinds. There was a $50 service charge for coming out and picking up the blinds. They didn't give me same day service, but brought them out the next day. I believe the service was excellent and I would use them again.

They arrived 10 minutes early and worked quickly and quietly, cleaning up as they went. The 2 brothers work well together and have been doing this since 1998. They are very knowledgeable about their business and all types of blinds. It took them 3 hours to clean 16 blinds plus restring 2 of them. My blinds look brand new!

Service was good, Vendor met scheduled time for completing task. Price was reasonable.

Based on Mike's phone quotation I arranged for them to come over and take the blinds for cleaning. The appointment was set up for within 48 hours of my call. John was a little late for the appointment but he had called before hand to tell me that he would be a half hour late. To my surprise John did the re-stringing of the blind on-site and the blinds were cleaned in the truck in which they had all the necessary cleaning equipment. The entire process took a little over and hour and John hung them back in place and told me to leave them down for about 24 hours so they could dry. The whole process was smooth.

This company does on site cleaning as well as at their facility. I wanted to drop my mini blinds off there because I planned on washing my windows while the blinds were down. I called on a Thursday and Mike answered and I told him what I wanted and how many mini blinds I needed cleaned. He gave me a quote right away, telling me the cost per linear foot. He asked if I would please call back on Monday because he would know his schedule better then and we could set a time for me to drop off my blinds. I did call Monday and we were able to set a time for Tuesday a.m. He told me then that he would not be able to have the blinds ready for pick up in one day. I said that was fine because I wanted to wash the windows while he had my blinds and we arranged a pick up for Thursday. On Thursday I called again because I wasn't going to be able to pick up the blinds until later in the afternoon. Mike said they were all ready and we arranged a convenient time for both of us. We put the blinds up that evening and they were clean and looked good.

The service went well. He was professional, polite and respectful of my home. He did not pressure me to purchase a replacement blind from his company. The sheers/blinds were white and looked brand new. On June 17th, his brother, Mike, came back to dry clean my drapes and to install the new arch blind. He too was professional and respectful of my home. My drapes are again bright and cleaning. I would indeed call this company again when my blinds and drapes need cleaning.

I had to drop the blinds off. They don't have set office hours, so that was a bit inconvenient to set up a drop off time. Then it was difficult to find their place. It doesn't have a store front, just a door so I was a bit reluctant to simply waltz in, being a single female. (I wouldn't have trusted the place if I hadn't gotten their name off of Angie's list!) I discussed the different possibilities of how to proceed with the repair (the parts had to be ordered) and then left my blinds with him. There wasn't any form/paperwork to fill out so they'd know my name/contact info and that those were my blinds. That was just written on a scrap piece of paper. I found that a bit unprofessional and had my doubts on the quality of their workmanship. It took over 2 weeks before I could pick up the blinds. There was a bit of calling back and forth. The owner had problems getting the parts and was a bit grumpy about the trouble he was having with his phone. I found this a bit troublesome, but then the owner called when the blinds were in and even gave us a follow-up call to remind us the blinds were done. I had to arrange to pick up the blinds from the trunk of his BMW (in which I left the payment check). The blinds terned out nice - he'd gotten the perfect replacement piece. I just wish it hadn't been so much work!

I got several quotes and they provided the best product for the best price. My experience with them was great. They were very courteous. They came on time. They were helpful in picking the blinds. They knew their product.

I would recommend them to anyone for cleaning and sales of blind, I asked them to take off their shoes and they did not have a problem doing so.

Showed up a half-hour late but called ahead to say they would be late. Polite and professional work was done speedily and as per their estimate.

They have a large truck with the cleaning equipment inside. They take down, clean and re-hang. There were two of them, so it went quickly. Shades (especially opaque) must be left in the down position to dry thoroughly. I did not get an estimate from them. They have done work for me before. I found them originally on Angie's List, but they said they do not participate any longer with coupons or discounts - "it didn't pay, they did not get enough business through it".

Reasonably priced, cleaned 5 silhouettes, prompt service.

MIKE AND HIS BROTHER ARRIVED ON TIME AND PERFORMED THEIR TASKS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. THEY WERE DONE IN UNDER 2 HOURS, AND IN THAT TIME PERIOD THEY PRECLEANED, TOOK DOWN, CLEANED ON SITE, AND REHUNG ALL BLINDS. TERRIFIC JOB!

I FELT LIKE I WAS BUYING A USED CAR, BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO NEGOTIATE THE PRICE, AND THEY COULD ONLY COME IN THE CITY TWO WEEKS FROM THE TIME I CALLED.
