Excellent. They were prompt and did everything which was painless. Jon took down all 9 of various sizes of blinds, cleaned and returned them. Jon re-hung all the blinds and confirmed that I happy with the results. The 20 year blinds look fantastic. They even fit me in their busy schedule to fit my vacation schedule.

Excellent! They were prompt and did everything they said they would do. They took down all the blinds (twelve of various sizes), cleaned them in their truck on site, dried the blinds and re-hung in my home. The blinds look fantastic!

After calling first I brought the blinds to the shop myself. They were a little hard to find but well worth the effort. They restrung my honeycomb blinds in 1 day for $50. The next lowest estimate was $180! Very courteous, friendly folks.

Amazing! It couldn't have been easier! Jon is awesome... super friendly... super easy to work with... and super efficient. He came onsite to help us with our selections and to measure all the windows. It helped that we knew pretty much what we wanted, but he helped with matching the blind colors to the trim and went over some different options. We had a quote within hours and worked out some changes we requested. Jon put the order in with Hunter Douglas on our word (deposit check was put in the mail) and scheduled the install with me for 2-3 weeks later. When the install date came, Jon confirmed the day before and arrived just as expected. The install went flawlessly and they cleaned up all the packaging leaving the house just as it was... except now with beautiful blinds! We are working with Jon again now to install a few additional windows that we purposely left out of the original contract. Of all the selections we made on our completely custom house, Jon made this the easiest. I highly recommend Hang & Shine, Inc!

The shades were cleaned in their truck and when done, hung back up. Mike found some additional problems with our shades, called the manufacturer of the shades concerning the repairs (as he was not certified to repair what needed to be done), and got us the name and number of a certified repair company who could do the repairs. Hang & Shine is the business to call to get your blinds/shades looking new again. They work quickly and professionally. We would use them again should the need arise.

We were in the market to install blinds in our three second story bedrooms. We searched Angie's List providers and noticed that Hang & Shine located in Carol Stream, IL had terrific reviews as well as a $500.00 discount coupon. We contacted the company and requested an estimate for services. Mike informed us that the discount coupon required a purchase of a minimum of 5 windows which worked well for our blind needs. Hang & Shine does not have a retail location, so Mike brought two books of samples of the variety of blinds that were available to our home and we decided that the block-out blinds would work best in a bedroom setting. One of our windows is a window that slides horizontally. Hang & Shine had the perfect solution. We finalized the deal and requested that the blinds be installed at the end of the 6 month window of time available to us with this coupon deal allowing installation to take place in September. We were told that we would receive a call-back a few weeks prior to the September installation date to prepare for the work. When September rolled around, we had not yet heard from Hang & Shine, so we called to confirm our installation. We were told that our paperwork was missing and that Mike would need to return to take new measurement to insure the correct sizing. Our paperwork with all of our choices had been recovered and the installation was planned for late September. Mike called the day before installation and told us he would be at our home at 9:00 a.m. the next morning. Mike and his partner were at our doorstep promptly at 9:00 a.m. as promised. The installation process went smoothly and quickly. Within two hours, the five blinds were installed, adjusted, and tested. We are thrilled with the functionality of these block-out blinds. They truly keep the bedrooms dark until you decide to open them. They were well worth the investment!

Jon was fantastic! Punctual, helpful, quick. At one point we were looking at something that would have resulted in Jon not being able to provide us the service. He could have railroaded us into a product only he supplied but it was more important to him that he provide us what we wanted. The blinds look great. ... and my wife thought he was hot.
