Hang & Shine Inc. is the premier choice for all your custom blinds, shades, and shutters manufactured by Hunter Douglas Window Fashions in Chicago, IL and its surrounding suburbs. We offer an assortment of blind-related services including blinds sales of many different kinds of blinds, blind cleaning using our ultrasonic cleaning method, drapery cleaning, and blind repairs and installation. Count on Hang & Shine Inc. for all blinds-related needs. All of our technicians are highly trained, knowledgeable, and professional. We offer cleaning for any size job whether it be residential or commercial. We can clean your blinds on-site using our mobile blind cleaning truck, pick up and deliver your blinds, or you can simply drop them off at our Carol Stream, IL, location. Description of Work: I have order several wood blinds from Hang and Shine. The owner came out and he was courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me chose fabric for my Roman shades and I know they product will be wonderful.

Description of Work: The services were not performed. I had. A very particular task which involved creating and installing an operable shade or blind for a triangular shaped window. I was told that they might be able to make a non-operable shade but that he needed to speak with his installer. That was the last I heard from the guy. In addition to not providing what was asked, I was told that the deal included a 5 window minimum. That was not part of the deal that you advertised. The net result is that I didn't get any shade or blind for my payment. This is the second deal I have tried to purchase thru Angie's list and I have nothing to show fir my money. Hi [removed member name]! When I met with you about your windows you told me you weren't really interested in a shade that with inoperable. I called you about a week ago and told you the shade was out of spec but they would make it. I also told you it would be inoperable. I then asked if you would like me to continue with my fabricator and get you a price. I never heard from you. I can still pursue Hunter Douglas for the price. I honestly thought you were no longer interested. If you would like you money back simply contact Angie's List. I certainly don't think I deserved those ratings. I left the ball in your court. Description of Work: Hang and Shine put up room darkening shades in three rooms. One of the rooms had half moons at the top of each window. John from the company was very responsive on the phone, arrived right on time to measure and showed samples,offered helpful ideas on color for each room,etc. The shades were finished in two weeks, due to the half moon tops taking a little longer.The day of delivery he again was prompt, put up the shades, and they look beautiful. I used Angie's BIG DEAL, which helped with the total cost.
