While I was watching him do his work he stopped what he was doing and talked about his family for half an hour. I was shocked when I was given the bill which was hourly that included the half hour that he was just standing there blabbing about his family. Nice guy I guess but I have never used them again and never will.

Service was excellent. Patrick Armbrust was the plumber who made the call. He was punctual and very professional. He was able to open up the drain pipes, route the pipes, and clear the clog in about 20 minutes. He did a good job explaining what he was doing, what he found, and ways we could prevent these types of clogs in the future. He also inspected my hot water heater and gave me a water alarm at no additional cost.

Alan fixed our plugged drainage problem. Also gave some good tips. We believe that we were charged fairly.

During a power outage, our whole house generator didn't start. I had no prior experience with Armbrust, but called them as they are local. I got a quick call back from Patrick, who had a few questions about the model (20RESA) to enable him to order parts. He told me up front that he was doing this to be sure he had any parts he might need when he stopped out. After spending about 3 and a half hours on site, Patrick had the generator running again. The problem in my system's case was a slippage in the carb choke lever that prevented the valves from opening properly. That wasn't an easy thing to find -- but Patrick stuck with it. In the process of troubleshooting, he also replaced the spark plugs, checked the battery, valves and air filter. He also updated the firmware. I was only charged for the labor and the $13 plugs. He took back the extra parts that he didn't need to replace. He also worked with me a bit on the price, giving me a discount on the labor due to the time involved. That was pretty generous. In the end, the unit is fixed. I thoroughly understand what failed. I was only charged for parts and time I used. I feel good about Armbrust and would recommend them.

Only disappointment was the "senior discount". As a senior, I depend on these and was disappointed that the discount was only for parts which I did not need.

We woke up to the sound of the Battery backup alarm. The sump pump wasn't working properly. Armbrust sent Dave promptly. The sump pump switch wasn't working properly and the battery back up alarm was working, but not the backup pump. Dave replaced the switch and mentioned that we'd have to look into replacing the backup system. Dave answered all of our questions so we could understand what went wrong and told us how we could check if the sump pump wasn't working or if it was just a switch.

Began by rodding from the sewer line from two different places, the external cleanout port towards the house and towards the street, and from inside the house toward the street (total 5.25 hrs). Even though this process removed patches of matted roots this did not clear the main clog. They finally had to call in a water jet machine which took care of the situation (2 hrs). During this jetting process they monitored progress with a video camera. Even after the drain was open, the camera show a few more spots that needed attention. The water jet quickly took care of those. All in all my sewer line is now in good shape. I was told to use ROOTX in the sewer line yearly to keep the root at bay.

A neighbor recommended Ambrust as I was unhappy with the service of the past two Service Companies that I had used. I called for an appointment and the person who answered the phone was friendly and professional and answered all the questions I had. On the appointment day, Jeff called 15 minutes prior to arriving and showed up on time. Without a doubt he was the most professional of all the people I have had working on my HVAC sytem. He explained patiently what his testing would involve. He did have to replace a part on the Air Conditioner unit. He showed me the test results and quoted a price to replace the part. I will not hesitate to use this company again for all my HVAC needs.

They came as promised and repaired the pipes. No problems. Good experience.

Patrick A arrived promptly at scheduled time at 7:00 am. Our hot water heating system has separate pumps and thermostats and he checked them all to be sure that were functioning properly. Armbrust has been our plumber for many years, and Patrick has been our service man for furnace maintenance for three plus years. We are very satisfied with his work and the work of Armbrust. I have used this company for plumbing repairs for more than 20 years for both big and little jobs. On Christmas Eve our plumbing backed up shortly before our guests were due to arrive. The timing could not have been worse. We were advised at the time of our initial call, holiday rates would apply. We certainly understood, and felt badly asking someone to come. We felt blessed to see a plumber at our doorstep within an hour of our call. He arranged a temporary fix to get us through the holiday. As agreed, Armbrust returned a couple of days later for the big job of a permanent repair . The job went well and came in uinder their orginal quote of $1500. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Last winter my furnace went out the week between Christmas and New Year's. Armbrust was there in a couple days due to demand. My heating and cooling systems were near twenty-five years old. I got a great deal on energy-efficient heating, air, and water heater. My house has never been more comfortable to my energy bills as low. The service and attention to details was excellent. I called them for plumbing work a few months later and received the same excellent quality of service and professionalism.

They are reliable and honest and I have used them for years.

Service man called on time and Arrived on time. The price was a little less than his quote. He finished quickly and the area was cleaner than when he started.

I was having to replace a shower cartridge every year but my faucet continued to leak and the parts I needed were no longer available. I decided to go with a permanent solution and called Armbrust Plumbing. Tom H came out and cut out my old shower valve and soldered in a new posi-temp valve. He then installed the new shower faucet and spray head that we had purchased ahead of time. The job was done well and neatly. He was done in an hour and a half- it would have taken me a whole weekend and I'm sure I would have messed it up anyway.

They were great. They were on time and professional. The quality of work was excellent, we haven't had any problem since.
