My experience with Armbrust was positive. Their estimate was clear. Dave's installation was professional and well done. His sheet metal work was excellent.

I like that they called to remind me that I was due for a service visit, and the appointment happened relatively quickly. The technician (Jeff B.) was a few minutes late, but called to let us know he was enroute. He was courteous and seemed competent, although I did not watch him at work. He fixed a clogged water valve, and let me know what was in good shape or which filters were needed for furnace and humidifier.

Work was performed by Adam. He called me prior to arrival. Was on time (actually came a little early). He was very professional and explained the options and work to be done and did not try to do more than was necessary.. He was very efficient and explained everything. I would highly recommend him.

Armbrust wrote up an estimate in two days with an excellent price. Because of other factors, we were unable to ask Armbrust to come back and do the work for us.

Everything with them was very good and everything was done very quickly. The plumbers were very personable and capable in their field. Interestingly, their plumbing license was #1. They were very, very good. All the work they performed has held up well over the years.

We have used Armbrust for over 10 years and have been pleased with their responsiveness and skilled and competent staff. They cost a little more than their competitors but they guarantee their service. Staff turnover is minimal and they never try to sell us services we don't need.

We have always used Armbrust and they are easy to work with and don't over charge. They also are thorough with describing the problems. I recently had a problem in the middle of the night and decided to use Roto Rooter. This was an incredible mistake and will never return to RR. I will always use Armbrust. Pat did an outstanding job fitting the ejector pit in a tight space. He was prompt, courteous and professional. Even the city inspector commented on what a good job he did. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

The sum pump alarm had gone off in the basement and, when I couldn't turn it off, let alone mute it, I called Armbrust. Mr. Armbrust personally came out to apprise us of the situation. He showed us that the sump pump, backup and alarms were all non- functional. A couple of days later Tom arrrived punctually and put in an entirely new system. The new sump pump and backup were installed adhering to the promised and ordered specifications; the whole system appears to be an upgrade over the old one. I especially appreciated that since last night we received a "frog choker" of a storm that made it seem like we were deluged with solid water rather than drops of rain. The sump pump held up well.

Armbrust came quickly after our emergency call. They were very helpful and thorough. Will definately use again.

The experience was good. They gave their proposal to me, which described what they did, I had questions, which they incorporated in the final scope of work. They did the work as agreed, they came at the time that they said they would and everything as agreed.

Very knowledgeable. He had to go get a part cause I had an unusual hook up and he did so and came right back on a late Friday afternoon knowing that I had a big BBQ Party the next day and needed the new grill. He not only tested all the burners to make sure it was working correctly, but showed me how to work everything including safety features that I should know when working with gas.

I contacted the office and I identified myself as an Angie's List referral. I asked for someone to provide a quote. The person at the office responded that Rich would need to call me, and that he would do so the next day. After the second day went by, I called back. Rich scheduled a time to come and inspect my project. He was early, which was great. He called and let me know he would be early, too. Very professional. We had a cordial exchange and he went away with the information he needed both to provide the quote and to get back in touch with me. A smile and a hand shake to boot. The projects I asked for a quote on had been quoted by two other firms (also located on Angie's List), so I had a vague notion of the effort involved. Both of those firms gave me their quotes on the spot. Rich, however, wanted to get back to me the next business day. After two full business days went by, I called the office and left a message. No one got back to me. I called again and spoke to the person in the office, who again said, "I'll have Rich call you." He never called back. I tried a third time, this time both by email and by voicemail. In both cases, I said, "If you do not wish to provide a quote, that's quite all right - just please let me know." Again - no reply. But, because one of my questions was about my HVAC, Rich did have John (Armbrust's HVAC) person call me. I found it odd that after nearly a week of waiting for a quote that had been promised the next business day, the only follow up I received was for them to try to sell me additional services. I never did get my quote from Armbrust for the small plumbing project - and no apology or follow up of any kind. So - as you see by their reviews, they must do wonderful work. However, for whatever reason in my case, they got behind on providing quotes and could not make the time to simply call and say, "Sorry, we can't provide you the quote." I guess I would ask (before you spend time waiting for nothing) "How busy are you, and can you actually service my request?"

They are a local company. We have lived here for 40 years and have been using them for about as long.

I've worked with Armbrust for the past year. I had a water stain in the ceiling of the home I was selling. Pat came out and assessed possible causes. He was able to identify the cause so I could have the right trade in to fix the problem. Recently, the water heater in my new home stopped working. Even with a call on the weekend after hours, he walked me through areas to check and then came out first thing Monday to check my system (it didn't need an immediate service call). Pat diagnosed the problem, advised me on how to get the replacement part from the manufacturer, and them came out again to install the new part. They are so professional, take the time to explain what they're doing, and do an outstanding job. I am most pleased with the team at Armbrust whether for my plumbing needs or heating/ac. I wouldn't think of calling another plumber given my experience with them.

Considering we had the problem over a holiday, they were able to come pretty quickly, and once here they did the job quickly and professionally.

Tom has been our plumber since my fiance and I bought our home in 2008. We called as an emergency service when our sump pump discharge froze up solid. Tom does exceptional work and does it very quickly. He's honest, reliable, friendly and he even shows my fiance how to do some of the repairs on our own for if things happen in the future. Armbrust is easy to reach and easy to schedule. They show up on time, stay on budget, and stand by their work. I can't say enough good things about them.

I have been using Armbrust for the last 8 years. You will not find a more professional contractor out there. We have used the them for both commercial and residential work all was top notch. They are usually not the cheapest but they stand behind their work. Absolutely top notch

Service experience was excellent from beginning to end. The owner showed up on time to review the job scope, submitted a detailed and timely quote and promptly followed up with additional information I requested. The price was not the lowest for the job, but it was reasonable by far. My previous positive experience with them easily outweighed the small price difference. Worker showed up on time, made sure he didn't make a mess and left after doing a quality job. The original quote said they would charge me extra if there was no rough drain under the concrete, but the job took less than the time the owner aloted and he did not charge me for piping to an existing drain even though he had every right to. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

They are great to work with! When we have a plumbing problem, they will always be our first call. While we were having our basement water sealed (by PermaSeal), the workman broke two of our sewer lines. Unfortunately, they didn't mention it to us until about 30 minutes after it happened. Very poor communicators. Thankfully we were home and discovered the problem. PermaSeal was quick to point out that on the back of the contract they were not responsible for any broken sewer lines. We called Armbrust Plumbing immediatly, they arrived at our home within 30 minutes to begin fixing the problem. Again, they are great and do quality work!

The experience was very positive. They were excellent. I spent about $3500. They were suggested by my warranty company. I am actually planning on using them to install an attic fan. I will recommend them. I will use them in the future.

I have used them before and they did a good job. I spent $150 the last time they came out. They charge for transportation and not just for the time spent at the job. I have very old furnace. I didn?t have to get a new part; they told me it wasn?t necessary. They just fixed it. I will use them again in the future.
