Description of Work: I have used this plumbing service on several occassions. They provide sewer & drain rodding including overhead sewers and flood control, sump & ejector pumps repair and replacement, sink, bath & toilet piping replacement and shut off valve installations. They cover the southside of the city & so. suburbs. They have always been prompt with their appointments and arrive within the "window" they arrange or the serviceman will call if he expects he will be delayed. They have a large parts vehicle if it is expected to be an extensive job so there's little to no "going back to the shop" for parts. I found them to be very professional & willing to return if any problems should arise with their work. They explain exactly what they will do before they start the work and any problems they foresee so there are few "surprises". They are licensed, bonded & insured and offer a senior citizen discount. They have provided services to the area since 1967. I highly recommend them!

Description of Work: Checked all outside plumbing pipes in attic (we're on a slab)- repaired all leaks - advised we have pipes blown out each fall to prevent further leaks and damage. A little pricey, but quality is worth paying for. Plan to use again in fall to blow out pipes.

 + -1 moreSewer kept backing up, 4 times in 5 weeks. Calumet Plumbing suggested a clean-out station should be installed outside of home so in case sewer backed up again, rodding can be done outside the home instead of as before inside the basement. They were very professional, punctual, and very good in explaining what was happening. We live in a neighborhood with very old trees, and the roots kept invading and blocking the sewer line.
Description of Work: Sewer rodded 4 times, camera used to investigate the line, and a rod-out station installed.

Description of Work: We had a blockage in our main sewer drain that was backing up into the house. Cal City Plumbers showed up on time, sent down a camera to visualize the blockage, rodded it, explained what they were doing and why, and cleaned up afterwards. I was very happy with thier service. We've used them for sink repair and other plumbing problems. We continue to use them. Thier prices seem a little pricey, but I cannot argue with thier results!!

Description of Work: The tank attached to my toilet was leaking. The plumbing repairman (Rich Lara) replaced the tank bolts and tank to bowl gaskets. He checked to make sure there was no more leakage. Mr. Lara was very professional and very focus on completing this task. I definitely will again call and recommend Calumet City Plumbing Inc.

 + 0 moreThey were late coming. They were good and efficient. They got the stuff unclogged and they left. Their timeframe was way off. They were okay. I don't know about the price because we never hired a plumber before. We didn't check with any other plumbers. Somebody answered the phone when we called. They were supposed to be here at a certain time and they were supposed to call before they came. They had given us a 3 or 4-hour timeframe. They didn't show up at the time they said and they didn't call.
Description of Work: We used Calumet City Plumbing to roto rooter a drainpipe going from the basement out to the street. It was a sewer line.

 + -1 moreI was referred to them by a neighbor. They are very fair in their pricing and I would recommend them to my friends. They are very fast in getting their work done and professional. Sometimes it s hard to get a hold of them.
Description of Work: They cleaned out a section of piping in my home and replaced a section as well. It took them less than 2 hours to do the job.
