Workers addressed and took care of all my concerns while doing a fantastic job. It's been two months and the windows are holding up nicely. When on day 1 we saw some issues with a screen, they had a free replacement out to me within 3 days. Great work!

When my husband and I bought this house two years ago, we knew we would need to have some things done. My siding was peeling as it had been painted, the trim was a mess, and the gutters did not function properly causing water to stream in the windows on my porch and into the porch wall. I had US Exterior replace all nine windows on my back porch. When the crew came to do the work, they found that the south porch wall was completely rotted out. The crew worked ALL day in 90 degree weather rebuilding the wall, installing the windows, and putting in new doors. I was so impressed with the window and door crew from the moment they came on site. The foreman of the job even went with me to the store to get a different screen door for the porch because the one I had picked out was not going to work well. When I got home from an appointment and saw the transformation, I was amazed! A few weeks later, the siding crew showed up. I was equally impressed with the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail exhibited by the men who put up the siding. There are a lot of corners different sized walls in my house, and they navigated them beautifully. Finally, the gutters were redesigned and replaced. No longer do I have issues with water streaming down the side of my house-I check with every rain storm. Udo Seidel, the owner, is extremely responsive and helpful. He answered all my questions. He was personally involved in all my projects, and made sure the job was done right and in a timely manner. U.S. Exterior by Seidel is a family business, and you can tell. The rapport between crew members and respect for the work being done was apparent every step of the way. Thank you! Thank you! My house feels like it is brand new!

I don't know if I can express how happy I am with the work that has been done on my house. When the windows on my porch were to be replaced, we found that one of the walls on the porch was completely rotted out. The crew rebuilt the wall and installed the windows all in one day. When I came home from a meeting, I was blown away by the work that had been done! I was equally as impressed by the work on the siding and the gutters. The siding is mounted evenly and seamlessly. I had been having issues with my gutters not working properly, but US Exterior reconfigured them and now they work perfectly. Everything that I had questions about or was not completely satisfied with was fixed. I would absolutely recommend Us Exterior to anyone who is looking for a company who stands by their work and who is willing to take no less than 100% satisfaction from their costumers. My house is like a new house, yours could be too.

Being able to talk to the owner whenever I wanted was nice! The team was very hard working and professional. It couldn't have gone better! My house looks wonderful.

the entire job took about a month and went well. There were 2 guys assigned to our job and they were very skilled and worked with us along with the owner on our entire remodeling project. We are extremely happy with the outcome of our project. We highly recommend there services and be assured the job will be done 100% in the end.

From the minute we met with Udo we liked him. He was a no fuss get to the point guy. Never tried to up sell anything and was very reasonable. The work started when he said it would and finished when he said it would. He always returned my calls quickly and answered any questions we had. We are extremely happy with all of it.

I have recently got by sidings/ gutters and downsprouts done by US exteriors.The quote I got from Udo is fair compare to other companies. They did a great job of replacing the siding,gutters and downsprouts. My over all experience with Udo and Team is very good/ very happy and I would like use them in future for Soffit and Fascia replacement. I would recommend them to any one who would be planning to get house exteriors done ( like Siding/Gutters/Downsprouts... etc).

After lots of research online, We found several good companies, but it seemed that Udo, from US Exteriors by Seidel was the best fit for our project. He listened to what we wanted for siding, soffits, facia, gutters and we came up with a plan to use Mastic Quest siding, for which they are an Elite Installer. He paid special attention to venting and insulation. The workers were professional and did a great job. They were also careful of my plantings, which was important to me. Uno came by everyday to be sure everything was going as planned. They They are a local company, who has been in business for a long time and get great reviews. We would highly recommend them to any one looking to improve their home!

The first appointment to come out to see what the project would be and receive a quote was missed. Their scheduler failed to book my initial appointment. However, Udo was extremely apologetic, and was prompt with the rescheduled time. He said he knocked off $100 from the quote to make up for the missed appointment. When the gutters were replaced, I told him the new ones in the front looked scratched. Udo said he would send his guys out to touch them up, but when he came out and looked at the gutters himself, he said they were more scratched than his guys led him to believe, and he was sending them out to completely replace them again. I was impressed with that quality of service. The gutters were replaced again when Udo said they would be, and they look and work great now.

Everything looks great. The house looks so much better.

The work I wanted done was pretty straight forward. Remove the existing soffit, fascia, and gutters and replace with new. The guy they sent out to do the quote didn't seem to understand what I wanted. This was not a language barrier issue. I had to explain it multiple times. At one point he said that they would just put the new soffit over the old soffit without replacing it first. Doing that would defeat the whole purpose of the soffit which helps vent the attic. I explained again that the old soffit needs to be removed first. After he finished taking the measurements he told me it would take 5-8 days for the quote. This seemed really excessive for a straight forward job like this. Another quote I got was ready 20 minutes after the guy measured. I said OK and waited. Those days came and went and I still did not hear anything. After about another week of waiting I called the office and explained I was waiting for a quote. The guy put me on hold for a few minutes then came back on and said he would call me back in a few minutes. He never called back and I never heard back from this company. Very disappointing.

I initially contacted several exterior contractors through Angie's List describing the work needing to be done (installing a new chimney top and adding downspout extensions). I chose U.S. Exteriors by Seidel as they had the most competitive price and were the most responsive. The entire process from scheduling the work to communicating when they will be on site was exceptional. The contractor who performed the work was extremely professional and courteous from the time the quote was given to finishing the project. I would highly recommend this contractor.

From start to finish Udo was available for any questions we had. Tony and his partner did exceptional work and are perfectionists. I would highly recommend U.S. Exteriors. Overall experience was above and beyond our expectations. Our house looks like a new a new home. Thank you.

The owner Udo Seidel Jr. worked one on one with me throughout the whole process including working with my insurance company . My insurance adjuster commented to me how professional Udo was . US Exterior is a family business that has a longstanding excellent reputation in the northern part of Illinois . His work crew worked very neatly around our house . The did quality work with courtesy and a smile . The multiple projects were completed in a timely manner and the cost quoted was the final cost . I have strongly recommended US Exterior to a few of my neighbors and some called Udo to come look at their home . The were pleased with his honesty and demeanor . Great company to work with .

'Udo came & met with us going over every detail for replacing our existing 30 year old Marvin windows, 35 year old siding & 20 year old roof.He was very professional, always available if there were questions. Tony & crew were also very professional, courteous & respectful of the house while the work was underway. We replaced 17 windows with the Marvin Ultimate premium wood windows,had the entire house & garage sided, & and had the house roof plus two flat roofs replaced. What an incredible job they did!! Such a pleasure to have them on board doing everything. i would never hesitate to recommend them for doing any work, fantastic group of workers. Very clean & meticulous about their work. And we can't say enough about Udo, what a great guy. As i said he was always available throughout the whole process from start to finish.
