John was very professional and determined to thoroughly clear out the pipes. He cleaned the pipe through the "clean out" in the crawl space, which allowed him to use the 4 inch head, thus drilling a 4 inch hole through the roots instead of 2 inch. Since our cast iron pipes were 4 inches, this allowed the entire pipe to be cleaned out of tree roots. We also paid for the video, so he was able to see that the pipes were clean. John cleared the pipes much further along than ABC plumbing did too, so we wouldn't have to worry about anything further down the pipeline. Lakeside Plumbing is definitely more expensive than ABC Plumbing, charging $250/hour for routing and an additional $100 for the video. However, we were willing to pay more so the pipes would be thoroughly cleared out this time, and we wouldn't have to worry about back up again 3 months later.

Lakeside Plumbing is very professional, prompt and thorough. They were able to set up a free estimate the same week I called. Tom, who estimated the job called before he arrived, was very knowledgeable and very patient with my questions. The detailed estimate arrived promptly. The installers, L.B and Brian, were on time, polite and left the work area spotless. They took the time to walk me through the sump pumps and answered all of my questions. I will use Lakeside for future plumbing needs!

They arrived on time and called 15 minutes prior to arrival. They did a great job installing the water heater and changing the piping that needed to be installed for the larger heater. Cleanup was very good. About five days later I found a small amount of water under the heater. They quickly came out and discovered that the drain valve had only been hand tightened at the factory. It is something they are going to add to their installation checklist. I would use their services again.

Nick was superb, as before when he needed to install an Ejector; previous owner had snuck in a modified sump pump.

The water shutoff valve at my home began to leak when turned for the first time in I don't know how many years while we were having a dishwasher installed. My call was well received and a team of 2 was at my door within an hour. They were very courteous and professional and replaced the valve quickly and with no issues. They also interacted with the dishwasher installers and made sure all was working well before they left. Had no problem accepting the Angie's List first time customer coupon also. I will definitely use their services again and recommend highly.

Everything about working with Lakeside was fantastic. I was out of town and coordinating through my tenant, and Lakeside was incredibly prompt, scheduling the service for the same day that I called. I explained the delicate nature of the plumbing, and how I had previously tried unsuccessfully to swap the parts myself, and they fully understood. They sent two specialists on this service call, to properly observe the plumbing flex as they attempted to remove the failed part. Ultimately they came up with a very creative solution I hadn't even thought of, designed to fix our issue without causing any damage to the pipes. They even called me up to discuss the plan before performing the work, and explained the risks and possible costs of a couple of different approaches. Both my tenant and I are very happy with the end result, which was economical and functional, and done incredibly quickly. I will definitely be working with Lakeside again.

Nick cleared out out hall bathroom sink drain. He also made suggestions on what options we have regarding a bath tub faucet. He was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I will use this company again.

Excellent. John was able to fix the clogged drain and replace the toilet. His office had done some research on fixing my kitchen faucet and recommended I contact the manufacturer for a part as it would be less expensive for me to access my warranty than to have Lakeside purchase the part. John was very efficient and cleaned up everything after he was finished and he saved me money by recommending I purchase the part myself.

I was very pleased with my experience with Lakeside Plumbing. The plumber arrived on time and walked through what he was going to do. He was very professional and efficient in his work. He offered a few suggestions to lengthen the life of the new injector pump I had installed in my basement. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable and considerable below other estimates I had received to replace the injector pump.

Nick came by with his associate. Nick is a total pro and is a wealth of information about plumbing. I had an opportunity to over hear him quiz the person that he was training on brands, history, quality of products, etc. It was neat and made me feel like I had the right person in my home. Regardless of that, he quickly assessed what was happening with the leak, removed the toilet and replaced a ring. Problem that was quoted by other plumbers as being over 1K in work was fixed in 45 minutes for well below what other plumbers wanted to charge me. That being said, he did tell me that the problem would probably show up again in 4-5 years due to how old my house was and how it was kept over the years. This gives me enough time to prepare and I can't begin to tell you what a relief this was for me as a new home owner. On a side note, I have an old "Claw-Foot" tub that came with my house. The minute Nick saw it, he stated that the tub was older than my house (which was built in 1938). He could tell based on certain features I guess. Before leaving, he inspected it closer and found that it was made in 1911.....Guy is serious about his craft and Lakeside is served well by having experts like him on staff.

I contacted 3 plumbing services on the Saturday via a message on Angie's List and asked them to call or e-mail me. One never responded, one replied to call them but Lakeside called me first thing Monday morning. They discussed my needs, gave me options, quoted prices and made an appointment to come out Tuesday morning. John arrived on time, having called first to say he was on his way. He was very personable, explained everything he was doing, wore shoe covers in the house, and all in all made a very good impression and I was very happy with the results.

This is the second time Jon has been to our house to preform a service. First was to fix the kitchen drain that was backing up this time to replace a toilet and over all sump pump diagnostic. Definitely the BEST plumber I have ever had. Very professional. Took the time to explain everything to me and take me through the options and his recommendations. A pleasure to deal with. Thank you Jon and Lakeside plumbing. Will definitely be our plumber from now on. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful. John called and explained that if he replaced our old Toto with an American Standard, it would leave holes in the floor tiles. He took a picture of our Toto and said he would see if they could find one for us, or we could buy the same model. He didn't even charge for the service visit. We have had only the best experiences with Lakeside Plumbing. They are so honest and thorough.

I am writing this review literally 30 seconds after they have left my house. I have always been leery of hiring plumbers as I haven't had the best experiences with them in the past - however I was very much impressed with the service I just received. Particularly since the area has recently been hit by some heavy rains that I'm sure have led to some busy calls for their office! Despite this - scheduling was a breeze, even after I needed to re-schedule yesterday due to other obligations. NIck and his partner were timely, polite, and efficient. I was impressed with his friendly non condescending demeanor, and the fact that he removed his boots before coming into the house (even after I explicitly told him it wasn't necessary). The whole job was completed in less than 45 minutes, despite the fact that there was no identifiable shut off valve. We have lived in this house for 3 years with the gas line only covered by a plastic cap and had no idea! After I finished counting my blessings, they ended up upgrading my existing connection to have a shut off valve in the future. Before leaving Nick checked all my gas valves to ensure no leaks. Also, they gave me a $25 discount off the price for being a first-time customer!

The guys (Nick and Cory) arrived on time and had everything needed to get the job done. Very knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. Outstanding. Lakeside scheduled my service call around my personal schedule and still had someone out within a day of my call. John showed up on time after a call announcing his arrival and was extremely courteous and professional. The job was done very quickly, and cost much less than I had feared. I could not be happier with John and with Lakeside Plumbing. If I ever need a plumber again, they are my first and only choice. I wouldn't even consider using another company. Thank you!

Very well. Replace old, very heavy iron pipes with PVC pipes. No unexpected problems. No mess was left when work was finished. Cost was what was quoted in the written proposal. Given that 2 plumbers were working on this for about 6 hours, price seems very fair.

John & Tom were on time, fast, clean, courteous, cleaned up, wore shoe boot covers, and did a perfect job. We love the results, have no problems now. My former plumber retired and I used Lakeside for the first time. Not only am I a satisfied new customer, I will specify John & Tom next time I need plumbing work.
