Description of Work: Lakeside want $50 to show up for a leak in my ceiling and analyze. I received a call from the plumber and he said to do the analysis he wanted 179.00 after he arrived. Since it was tenant occupied I am forced to make the repair quickly. He claimed there was no leak. There is a large brown stain growing on my ceiling. I ask if he tested for moisture and he didn't have a moisture meter. I couldn't believe a plumber doesn't have a moisture meter. I called the office an filed a complaint after paying. I want a refund.

Description of Work: Had a problem with a clogged bathroom sink drain and a toilet that needed to be installed. Handy-guy family members had addressed these problems but there are about 50 more major repairs my relatives have on their plate so I got them to agree to let this repair service do the work. Provider was courteous, competent, prompt and prepared. Impressed my die- hard dyi- er family member as worth having. Definitely satisfied with work done, would use this company again.

Description of Work: Replace galvanized pipes to kitchen sink, removed and reinstalled sink and installed dishwasher. | |Lakeside told us our 1 1/2 drain would be meet code for either the dishwasher or a disposal, but not both. That was incorrect, we failed the inspection as a 1 1/2 drain can have neither a dw or disposal. | |I talked to the plumber on the phone and he told me we could have the drain replaced to a 2 inch drain, and that would meet code. He said he had spoken to the inspector and that the inspector said to just send a photo of the replaced drain after the work was completed. We had the drain replaced, lakeside took a photo to send in, and we fixed the drywall. I had a nagging feeling I should contact the inspector to double check that he was ok with the photo before we hung he cabinets. The inspector said he never told lakeside a photo was ok. We had to tear out the drywall to have the reinspection. | |Overall, we were frustrated that lakeside didn't advise us to upgrade to a 2" drain in the first place. We were very frustrated that they said the inspector told them a photo of the work was sufficient, when clearly the inspector didn't say that.

Description of Work: Lakeside Plumbing was recommended to me by another service provider when the original provider determined that they could not replace my non-functioning water heater due to a couple of issues. One being that the new energy efficient models were too wide for the space the old water heater was in and the second being that the water shut-off to the heater was not working properly. From the moment I called Lakeside they were helpful. The office staff were empathetic to my situation and followed through on everything they said they would do. The plumbers found a water heater model that would work for my situation and when my condo association was being less than helpful, Lakeside Plumbers did what they could to make the situation less frustrating for me. Overall, I would use Lakeside again. Some people have told me that they think I paid more then I should have for a new water heater, installation, a new shut-off and a water leak sensor, but based on the service and work done I think the price was worth it. Highly recommended!
