We had a new water heater installed. Tom came out and gave us an appraisal. He was on time, very professional and informative. When installation time came, Clint and his team were prompt and very professional. They were efficient with their time and quickly completed the project.The next morning (Saturday), we discovered we did not have hot water. When I called the after hours number, the call was picked up, and the man tried to walk me through the issue. In addition to the water heater, our trusty warns kept going off indicating the back-up sewer pump was being engaged. It was difficult to trouble shoot over the phone. He was able to get ahold of LB who came to our house and helped with the malfunctioning water heater and ended up putting in a new sewer pump with had coincidentally gone out. Talk about great timing!Overall, we a a great experience with LSP and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The copper hose to garden hose faceut was leaking. Lou, the plumber at Lakeside Plumbing Inc came to my house Wednesday morning. He cut the old leak hose, and found the ball valve should be special ordered part. He came back again on Friday afternoon with the special ordered part. He spent 2 hours to install the ball valve and garden hose valve. He is very friendly, and cutomer-oriented. I will hire them again for any plumbing needs.

Very pleasant. He tried to preserve the old toilets and did not try to sell me new ones. We talked about the toilets, but he was her pressuring me to buy new toilets.

They seem to be very honest, straightforward, and easy to work with. I will use them again in the future.

The plumber did a great job finding the leak and fixing it in a timely manner, just in time for a dinner party I had planned in less than 3 hours. He had to go to the basement to find and fix the leak so this was difficult. He was neat and fast and very good. Would use again, no problem. But hope I don't have to soon.

It worked out very well. They are prompt. They are careful. They are clean. I thought Nick got right to the problem.

My interaction went very well with Lakeside, from start to finish. I left a message for them on a Sunday and on Monday morning a very friendly woman called me back and there was no problem arranging a date/time for them to come out. I have never hired a "real" plumber before so hearing $120/hour was a bit of a shock, but at least they told me up front on the telephone. If I remember correctly they gave me a two hour window to arrive and the plumber arrived 5-10 minutes early. He was very personable and wasted no time getting to work. He advised me that our home, like many others built in the mid to late 60's, has very thin copper drain lines. He also advised me that many people end up having to re-pipe their entire homes when these thin drain lines start failing. He was able to replace a small section of the pipe in order to fix the leak. He was very careful to keep our carpeting and home very clean while he worked. I appreciated him being honest and willing to answer all of my questions. He did have to leave for about twenty minutes to obtain the parts he needed from a local plumbing supply store. While this is not a big deal and I believe I was charged a fair amount for the parts ($34.00), I was billed at $120/hour for those twenty minutes. I am guessing that is standard practice for most plumbers/electricians/etc. however it is a little disconcerting (this is why I gave them a B rather than an A for Price). I was able to use a $25 Angie's List coupon with no hassle. I would definitely use Lakeside Plumbing again and I highly recommend them to others.

I was happy with them. They were professional. He was a clean and organized worker. He fixed the toilet.

My experience with Lakeside has been exceptional throughout - they were professional, knowledgable, and did an excellent job. Moreover their communication with the client is also remarkable. This was true from the very beginning when I reached a live person when I called, someone dedicated to answering their phones. This helped avoid the usual telephone tag with the actual contractor doing the work. I was given a date and a two hour window for the job which avoided my having to stay home all morning/afternoon to wait for someone to show up. The plumber even called a half hour early to let me know he would be here at the very beginning of the two hour window, a real plus! He explained in detail what my situation was: that I have two different mechanical systems even tho both toilets are Rialtos and that in order to totally fix the problem with one of the toilets, a "very expensive" (his words!) $200 part was required. He also told me my options: to do a simple and partial fix or to wait and order this very expensive part. He was fine with my decision to do the quick fix now and see what happens to my water consumption. He even told me that it might take a quarter to make certain the water usage has decreased. In addition, when it came time to pay the bill, he reminded me to print out the company coupon on Angie's List! My toilets and shower handle now work perfectly. I will definitely recommend Lakeside to my friends and family!

They are expensive but plumbing is a lot because we have gotten other quotes and seen other prices. They are coming back next week for more work including a sump pump. They are super detailed. I've had several conversations and emails with them and they are very thorough, which I like. They helped us select the faucets, which I really liked. They have been really knowledgeable and so far so good. I've talked to several people at their office but only one person came out to do the work and he was friendly and professional. He got the job done.

Great communication skills allowing me to make decisions and answering all my questions. I asked questions for the future about my water heater and what to get as a replacement. I like to try to support local businesses and I was blown away with Lakeside's professionalism and customer service. This includes talking me through things on the phone to help myself, the neatness and respect during the job, as well as communications with the office manager who knows what she is doing. I'm so glad that I joined Angie's List!

They showed up on time and completed the work quickly and easily (easy stuff anyway). Also spent time discussing my water heater and what I should plan to do as it ages.

Had a leak on the water line going into the refrigerator ice maker which we don't use. I wanted to turn off that water line, but the valve was not working. As a result, I had to turn off the main water line to the house to stop the leak. I called Lakeside Plumbing and Heather answered. She was very professional and prompt to jump to action. She verified that a plumber was available and that he could come out immediately. Nick was at my house within the hour. He was very polite and professional also. He listened to my explanation of the situation, explained what he would do to fix the leak, and gave an estimate as to how long it would take to repair. I think it was an appropriate amount of time for the activities required. NOTE: Due to the prior workmanship and jerry-rigged saddle valve - an old steel pipe was removed and replaced by a copper pipe to which a proper auxiliary pipe and shut-off valve were attached. Nick worked efficiently and cleaned up after he was finished with the work. Thank you Nick for letting me know about the coupon on Angie's List for first time customers of your company! I would use this company again and would refer others to them.

Lakeside was so helpful over the phone in setting up our project before we even hired them. Their prices were very reasonable with all the work that they did. The inspector from the village for the permit said they did a beautiful job with all the plumbing. We were very happy with the work.

They were very professional, they explained what needed to be done, they did the work efficiently, and we were very happy with the service. They came over pretty quickly when we called them.

I had out-of-town company and the toilet clogged first thing in the morning. However, I had to take them to the train and airport and when I returned home at 12:30 p.m., I called Lakeside and told them the problem. Their plumber was here by 1:15 and fixed both the toilet and the leak under the utility room sink. He was so considerate and professional and did a great job.

Nick was on time, kept them aware of what he was doing, kept a clean work area and cleaned up after himself. He replaced the water line because he saw it even though it was not why he came out.

Plumber was next and prompt. He provided a thorough explanation of repair options. He assessed other plumbing issues in our home and described issues related to their repair. The appt was scheduled for a Saturday, next day after our call. We were very pleased.

Our basement was flooded up to 6 inches of water in the recent rains due to power outage and in-operable backup sump system. I called the usual plumbing company that I had been using for few years but they didn't respond to me for this emergency. I was extremely disappointed. From Angie's list, we picked Lakeside Plumbing. Their front desk person Heather was very courteous. She promised to send their team within 45 minutes. Their plumbers Nick and Tim showed up at the promised time. They started to drain the water by plugging the primary sump to a generator as there was no power. They inspected the damages and said the water heater had to be replaced as it was not safe to use a flooded water heater. Also the backup sump had to be replaced as the motor was completely drenched in water. We had radon application installed in the sump pit. So instead of just replacing the inoperable backup sump which probably would run into the same issue with radon application, Nick suggested we install a new submersible primary and backup sump system that would work well with Radon application. They were pretty straightforward with quotes. The job was neatly done within 3 hours. The service charge to come in and drain the water plus water heater replacement and sump pump replacement, with new parts and labor cost $3000. I knew this was slightly on the expensive side, but looking at the emergency situation I was in and their immediate response and work honesty was what I would mostly appreciate.

I recently purchased the building our business is located in and one of my primary concerns was with the hot water heater. It was the original unit here when I first moved in 17 years ago and it was looking old. Another issue is it was in the office space as opposed to the shop area. I called Lakeside and asked them to come out and give me my options. They suggested I go with a tankless hot water heater and move it on the other side of the wall from where the old one was located (shop side). The tech showed up when promised and got to work. He removed the old unit being careful not to spill water or dirt on the carpeting in the office. They took their time and protected everything well. They had to install venting and move some pipes in order to relocate and install the tankless heater. Overall everything went as planned, they were very clean and professional. When finished the tech took the time to make sure I understood all controls of the new unit including what I needed to do to maintain it. He also gave me the paperwork to submit for the tax credit for using the high efficiency unit. I was very happy with their service and would refer them to friends.

Very good experience over all. Ben showed up on time. After reviewing the issue, he immediately suggested to logical solution and the problem is solved within one hour. I believe his experience and solution saved us a lot more time and money.

We purchased a new bathroom sink and faucet from a home improvement store for Lakeside to install. This is the second bathroom where we have done the same replacement; both times we have had Lakeside do the work because they are clean, on time, efficient, and do excellent work. Previously, they completed a project for us that involved moving pipes in our kitchen according to our village's code for a kitchen remodel.

He was fast, efficient, wasn't cheap, but did a nice job.

We called with an emergency this morning at 7am. They said they would have someone over between 8-10 and showed up shortly after 8am. The person was prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. He solved the sump pump issue and moved over to the ejector pump. While he was prepping the second pump, one of his colleagues dropped off the pump from the main office to save time. All in all, solved the problem quickly and efficiently.
