The workman was prompt, courteous, and professional. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time, and he cleaned up the work area.

The plumber showed up on time and was very helpful in explaining repairs. Worked efficiently and stayed within his estimate. The people in the office were helpful with the scheduling.

They did a good job. They came on time and were very professional. They didn’t charge me for things that I didn’t need. I would definitely recommend them.

The cost included the parts plus the labor. It was just basically the exterior plumbing work. They did a good job and fixed the problem. The tech explained what the problem was and offered us our options and told us which would be the best way to handle it without any problems. They called me back, and came on time. The plumber tried to save us money, but eventually had to get a new part for the sprinkler system. The cost was a little high, but they did what we asked them to do. I would use them again in the future.

Let me be clear. Lakeside's quality of work, responsiveness and punctuality were all top notch. But that's what I'd expect from any A-rated Page of Happiness nominee on Angie's List. What was disappointing is their customer service (the woman who answers the phone is extremely professional and pleasant, its the plumbers themselves that could use some customer service training), and the lack of explanation of their pricing. Two guys came to install the water heater on Wednesday. One was pleasant enough, but the other was disrespectful to my wife. Further, despite the fact that the installation took them 45 minutes, they charged us the full quoted price, despite the fact that (a) they'd performed unsuccessful service the day before and (b) the install took them 45 minutes. The cost of the water heater, plus labor, plus some extra for ancillary work (hauling away the old one, any valves or other materials needed, etc.) still comes up $200 short of the quoted price ($1,065). The original paperwork clearly said "estimated cost". The paperwork we were given AFTER the work was done all said "set price". I called and told them I wanted to better understand the price and why it didn't end up being lower than the estimate. When they returned my call, he finally explained to me that the $1,065 was a flat fee, and would have been the same had the job taken 30 minutes or 2 hours. I certainly understand why they do this (I wish I could employ that practice in my business), but it doesn't seem fair. I thought as a gesture of goodwill, they might at least offer to take the $95 off the top of the $1,065, since the prior service call was really all for naught. It doesn't help make me feel better that he was clearly annoyed that he was having to call me to justify their pricing. He urged me to call other plumbers and check prices, saying that Lakeside's would be right there, if not under. And, in all fairness, it was. I called two other nearby plumbers and was quoted $1,150 and 1,050 for the same work. But that doesn't justify the failure to explain the price to me. I understand it's a business, but when a customer is disrespected during the process and is left feeling overcharged, it's not GOOD business. It's sad, because they really did a nice job just as far as the actual work is concerned.

Nick, the service person, was very professional, pleasant, efficient. The job was done quickly and thoroughly. Nick cleaned up nicely and gave instructions for the new water heater. It has worked perfectly and we were very glad to have it installed so promptly after we called. We would definitely use Lakeside again and recommend the company to friends.

Repairman arrived on time, provided detailed responses to my questions, and removed and replaced a stuck cartridge from kitchen faucet that I had been unsuccessful in doing. In addition, he asked if there were other possible jobs since the charge was by the hour and he had used only a portion of an hour. He then was able to replace a bathtub faucet cartridge as well. The charge was based upon an hour of time and replaced material. He was competent, professional, helpful, and very pleasant.

They are a local plumbing service company and I like them. I spent about $800 on their services. They are a little bit pricey but the company is certified. I will use their services again in the future.

It went great. Nick was early for the first call appointment, which was great. He was polite, helpful and did a great job. He installed two toilets and cleaned out two bathtub drains in about two hours. Would definitely recommend this company. Thank you!

The drains and toilets in our house started backing up late on a Saturday night. After contacting Lakeside Plumbing and speaking with Nick, we arranged for him to come out first thing Sunday morning. He was able to quickly determine that the sewer pipe had sheared off just outside of the house which is what was causing the backup into the house. Nick was able to get a crew one site first thing Monday morning and they had the pipe replaced in about 8 hours. I was really impressed with the professionalism of Lakeside Plumbing and their quick response to our problem. Not being able take showers or use the toilet is a huge inconvenience and they did everything possible to fix the problem quickly. I feel that they treated us fairly and did not try to take advantage of us while we had a crisis situation. I have a high degree of trust and confidence in their services and would use them again in addition to recommending them to other people.

After 2 weeks of operation, I'm very pleased with the one the check valve they recommended and installed for me. Lakeside is highly recommended.

Tom came the day I called to give an estimate of work. I had a bad experience with some scheister and was trying to find out if my water heaters were, in fact, a fire and asphyxiation hazard as I had been told. Long story short, Tom assured me that they weren't endangering any lives, but that they could be replaced. He also advised me on a couple other issues that we have had. Following Tom's visit, I spoke with Heather multiple times over the phone to get things rolling. She was extremely helpful and friendly as I negotiated through the process and compared the quotes of 4 plumbing companies. Although I couldn't get them down to the price I really wanted, I still thought Lakeside was the right company to choose. Once I decided on Lakeside, the work was scheduled for a few days out. The plumbers who did the work arrived early in the time frame got right to work. They answered my questions and worked quickly. After the work was complete, they showed me the new system and discussed maintenance with me. They told me I could call the office with questions regarding the upkeep since we have well water and need to drain the tanks once per year--it is a little more complicated than I anticipated, so I may need to be walked through it. The estimate was honored and the inspector was very happy with the work. I plan to hire Lakeside again in the near future.

When I called to inquire about there service I was treated very warmly from Heather in the office. She explained in detail there pricing and set up an appointment for me just a few hours later. Nick the technician called on his way. When he arrived and diagnosed the problem Nick offered a couple of different solutions. The work was done professionally and to our complete satisfaction. I had asked to Nick to leave a couple of business cards so that I can share them with family and friends.

I will definitely call Lakeside Plumbing again. The office staff was friendly and helpful and they sent someone out right away when I reported that I had water in the basement. Mike was terrific. He explained everything to me that he was doing and that he recommended doing/replacing. Mike was efficient and thorough. There was no high pressure sales pitch, which I appreciated. I hope I don't need their services anytime soon, but you never know... Lakeside will be first on my list to call!

Very professional experience overall

The appt was easily made. The installer called 30 minutes ahead of time and arrived at the beginning of the 2 hour window. He was professional and laid down tarps to be sure not to spill or get some rusted parts on my floor from the old waterheater. He installed it and reviewed the features with me. The installer did a great job. My only recommendation to the company is to have their installers not smoke (I know that many tradesmen do and it might be a lot to ask). I have been a non smoker all my life and am not use to the smell. In todays world the non-smokers are not subjected to much smoke, so the odor is a little strong. Other than that very minor thing, I would recommend the company and the installer.

Lakeside plumbing went well above my expectations. I train medical practices on customer service so I am quite critical, LP was fantastic. They were on time clean, quick and reasonably priced and when I had slight issue they fixed it immediately.

They were professional, knowledgeable, neat, and prompt. They are someone I would highly recommend. They are a very good company that works well together and a company that does a terrific job. It is hard to find a good plumber that cares about the home as well and someone who follows up with their work. They came in with booties on, cleaned up thoroughly afterwards and promptly followed up with me afterwards.

we hired another plumber who was not successful. Lakeside identified the problem and cut open the pipe and completly fixed the problem. They also fixed leaky pipes.

I got on Angies List and called Lakeside Plumbing because of their "A" ratings. Lakeside Plumbing was able to send us a plumber within 2-1/2 hours of my call. Nick (the plumber) was very professional and went to work on rodding the floor pipe under the basement floor.He also rodded this pipe out towards the street and told us it was running well and the problem was definely under our basement floor. He also checked and rodded one cleanout because it seemed to be running a little slow. He wasn't able to rod any more pipes (we have two others) because he had another appointment to go to. Nick was very professional, very neat and clean and cleaned up after himself. Anyone knows if you have had a pipe rodded out, the sludge can fly all over the place, it stinks and is gross, and you will be cleaning for days!! UGH! But Nick was very careful and for me, this whole procedure was not a traumatic event like it normally is. I would recommend Lakeside Plumbing, because of all the plumbers we have used over the years, he was definitely the most professional, knowledgeable and respected my home and cleaned up after himself! (That has NEVER happened with any other plumbers we have called!). He wore shoe covers over his shoes while he was in my home! Lakeside Plumbing was able to handle my Friday morning emergency call --Office staff was very curteous called me back within 15 minutes of my call to let me know they had someone available and what time he would be at my house. They also had Nick call when he was on his way with an approximate time of arrival. I felt for an emergency call, the price was fair because Nick spent time checking to make sure there were no other problem and gave us other options for preventing this problem in the future. He also asked if I had the Angie's List $25.00 coupon for first time customers and it was applied to this bill.

from start to finish, I give them an A+ for courteous, respectful, clean, workmanship & very good cleanup.
