Lakeside was great. Over the phone they clearly explained the pricing and options for a sump pump replacement. Once onsite they were nice, clean, and respectful. They replaced the sump pump and also provide consultation on other small projects. I will use them again

We had a great experience with Lakeside. We had a HUGE backup and no one would service us. Septic company told us to call a plumber; plumbers told us to call our septic company. Lakeside believed us that we did not need a septic pumping and that we needed a plumber to check it out. The owner stopped by on his way home to evaluate the situation, then sent a crew to help us the very next day. They were able to rod our pipe with a frozen mess inside and take a camera down the line to ensure the pipe was okay. They were so professional and the customer service was excellent. The price was reasonable as well. They are our forever plumber! Thank you!

The service provided by Lakeside (John) was top notch!! Office staff were great. Excellent experience from end to end, and most definitely will have them back as well as recommend them to friends and neighbors. John did a great job and was gentle despite my temporary "fix" making things incredibly hard for him and adding the need for a second trip. (Sorry!) Honest folks doing superior work at a fair rate. Couldn't ask for more!

I cannot say enough good things about my technician today. Brian was courteous, tidy, honest, knowledgable - a true professional. For the work he did, I felt the cost was very reasonable and we were charged fairly for replacement parts. My toddler had become interested in the toilet and he flushed down a washcloth, which my husband removed with a auger drum. Then our son emptied a Costco-sized bag of tooth flossers into the bowl and flushed *facepalm*. We had been putting off repairing a rocking toilet downstairs and had a recently leaking copper pipe over the water heater, so after comparing local Angieslist reviews, I called Lakeside Plumbing that afternoon and got a next day appointment. Brian called a half hour before the appointment time to let me know he was on his way and arrived early! After showing him all that needed to be done, he got right to work. All the repairs were solidly done (rock-solid, in the case of our downstairs toilet that used to clunk back against the wall). Plumbing exposes the untidy bowels of the house, so I was beside myself with joy when heavy-duty drop cloths and garbage bags kept anything wet or dripping off the floors. Brian put on thick plastic shoe-covers inside the house, and honestly, with two toddlers under 4 putting everything in their mouths, I was thrilled to pieces. It took 2.5 hours to remove, stabilize and reinstall one toilet, auger a mess of another toilet, and replace corroded copper piping above our water tank. Like other reviewers stated, the work was $155/hour. I saw reviews for other companies charging $600 an hour for a house call - no thanks! I cannot imagine that I could have received better service than I did. If you have limitless funds, do as you like. If our kids flush anything else they shouldn't down the drain, we will give Lakeside Plumbing another call. This is my 3rd time finding a great company using AngiesList. As a homeowner, I absolutely love it - gives me direct access to the best professionals who deserve the business. Rather than hope and cross my fingers, I value reading reviews to find my professionals. Hope this is useful to someone!

Workers were very professional and worked on schedule. They took care to keep the house clean and the installation was an improvement on the plumbing that was there previously. We went with a basic system requiring two water heaters, so nothing advanced in terms of plumbing and heating technology. They clearly explained the operating procedures for the heaters. The price was competitive in comparison to one other plumbing company, but it still seemed higher than what my online research said would be the price I should expect to pay. I gave them an A on cost in the absence of good information on which to base this judgment.

Chris came on time and fixed 3 clogged sinks. For our kitchen sink, he ran about 55' of snake and hit a clog and was able to push it through. He also lifted our disposal pipe about 1" as he said there was a back-pitch that could cause problems down the road, and suggested a smaller horsepower (0.5 hp) instead that could help this pitch even better. He also undid a couple of P-traps in our bathroom sinks and removed huge clogs from both. Finally, he inspected our flapper and found that the rubber was wearing out, so he replaced it. Thanks, Chris, for getting your hands dirty on our behalf!

I needed my kitchen faucet replaced and Lakeside Plumbing could not have made the entire process any easier. It's always nice when you call to make an appointment and you get to talk to an actual person...and a very friendly and helpful one at that! Chris was spot on time. He was personable and professional and quick! I really couldn't have imagined a better experience. We have an old house and I was anticipating complications but Chris handled it with ease. I will definitely use Lakeside Plumbing in the future and will recommend them to all my friends.

It was a great experience! I've had the same plumbers for 25 years, but they were so I searched Angie's List and found Lakeside Plumbing. I called, got an appointment and they arrived the next day on time. Mike & Michael were very professional. After rodding the clog several times they removed the PVC pipe in the basement. They first laid drop clothes to protect my stuff. Cut the pipe and showed us it was nearly closed off with egg shells and stuff that had been put down the garbage disposal over the last decade +. Didn't know eggshells were a no no. The clog ran the length of the pipe about 15 feet. They returned the next day to cut the entire pipe and replaced it along with a clean out piece. They cleaned up after themselves too. I now have New Plumbers!!

I can not say enough positive about this company. Both times they were quick to respond. The office staff was friendly and helpful, even telling me which brand of sump pump the company uses in cases I wanted to save the upcharge and purchase it on my own. The second time I spoke directly to one of the owners (I called early in the morning expecting to leave a message and instead got a person.) It was a Friday and they fit me in same day to install a new hot water heater. When the team was delayed on another assignment, one of the owners, Keith, showed up to get the ball rolling. Hot water heaters have apparently grown in size with added insulation so it was a tight fit into the utility closet. As a result he job took a longer than was originally anticipated. The guys maintained a sense of humor throughout and found a way to make it work. The price was within the range predicted when I did the internet for hot water heater installation. With the added quality, efficiency, knowledge and responsiveness of Lakeside Plumbing, I feel like I got a deal! I highly recommend them.

Mike and Brian showed up at the appointed time, with a 20 minute advance notice phone call. Came in assessed the problem quickly. Laid out tarps to protect the floor. Used some ingenuity to cut out the 23-year old drain, replaced with a new drain and were out the door. Mike and Brian were very pleasant and professional.

The plumbers were quick, clean, efficient, and did a great job. I felt the price was reasonable. They were polite and nice and didn't try to upcharge us. These are the best plumbers we've used in 25 years of home-ownership, we'll definitely call them again.

As a first time homeowner, I am amazed at how easy and helpful this company is. Every time I call them they make it so easy to get an appointment with them as much on my schedule as they can. They walk you through what they are doing, educate you about the process, and provide through review of everything going on around your pipes--all while being timely and efficient. I cannot express how much I love being able to depend on them!

It was a pleasure dealing with Lakeside. A. they answer their phones in order to make an appt. - something that kept me from scheduling with other plumbing companies B. Chris, the plumber who was assigned to our job, was courteous, quick and smart! I did NOT feel ripped off (but I have in the past w/other plumbing companies that purposely take a LONG time to complete a job in order to jack up the bill). A very positive customer experience!

Great response and service. We had freeze damage leaking returning from Winter home on Saturday night, called at 7AM Monday, John was here at 9:30 AM. John understood all issues, repaired freeze damage in about an hour, needed parts for other non-emergency work came back in 2 days to finish. Work was professional and expert by John. AAA. Total time under 3 hours, honored Angie coupon. Very happy!

The plumbers arrived early within the allotted time slot I was given when I made my appointment. I was called 10 - 15 minutes before, letting me know that they were on their way. The 2 men who arrived were pleasant, clean and polite. They scoped out the problems I reported having and then told me what they felt needed to be done including an estimate of how much it was going to cost me. They worked quickly and efficiently. I was shown what was done and what to look for if there was a recurring problem. When they were done, I asked them about some other plumbing issues we were having and they took a look at them, again giving an estimate of how much it would cost to do the work. I will definitely be calling Lakeside again if we need plumbing services!

Called Lakeside on May 21st and had an appointment set up for May 23rd. Had a price of $690 quoted for sump pump replacement, etc. Nick showed up right on time. He has done work for us before. After looking at the size of the sump pump well, he decided that we did NOT need the larger pump that was quoted on the phone from his office. He determined that the smaller pump for $490 was perfect for our needs. He installed the new pump in about an hour and took the old one with him. He also helped reconfigure the drainage plate for the outside drain so that the water wouldn't splash out of the retention apparatus in the yard.

My experience with Nick & Heather was great, very professional and personable. I have a very small master bath from the 1960’s. The shower water temperature would nit stay regulated, it went from burning hot to freezing cold on its own. I bought this house 13 years ago and have had this issue since the beginning. I didn’t want to have my tiled walls torn out which most plumbers would want to do. I Finally realized I had to find someone I could trust to do the job. I talked to heather, she scheduled my appointment with Nick, their process is very streamlined. Nick was able to fix the problem in no time without any damage. He also explained the process to me in terms I could understand. My experience was excellent, and the cost was very reasonable. I’ve already referred Lakeside Plumbing to my neighbor for a job they needed done.

We are very pleased with the service we have received from Nick at Lakeside Plumbing. We were experiencing a problem with the bathroom drain that required opening up the wall between the bathroom and kitchen to diagnose. It was found that the pipe connecting the bathtub drain to the pipe under the slab was corroded through, and the water was just basically pouring out of the bathtub under the floor. Nick and his assistant pulled out the kitchen cabinets and countertops and jackhammered the floor to repair the pipe. We then had them come back to fix a few more pipes that were so corroded that they would probably be causing us more headaches in the near future. They cleaned up well after they were done, and were just all around very easy to work with. No one wants to deal with annoying plumbing issues, but it is nice to know that we now have a plumber that we feel comfortable calling next time something else goes wrong in this old house. So glad that we found the recommendation on Angie's List!

Everything went as expected, was on-time and work done in a professional friendly manner. The total cost was $239.00 including all parts. I have used Lakeside 5 times in recent years for various projects and have always been very happy with the results.
