Arrived a little later than estimated. Mike was very knowledgeable and listened to our issue and details on how we wanted the new water heater to be set up (we have two and wanted to be able to have both, either one, or none of the water heaters running - to avoid having to turn off both water heaters when one fails). This water heater and valve failure required us to turn off all the water hot and cold to the entire house because one ball valve was broken we couldn't shut off the water at the water heaters. He arrived around 9:15am and left at 1:15pm. He covered the floors and carpets right away, then afterward cleaned up the area well, and explained how to use and maintain the new water heater.

The services were performed on schedule and as requested. Friendly, helpful and professional. Will use again.

Two individuals arrived at the premises at the scheduled date / time. I was initially concerned because they charge by the hour and for an initial estimate. However, they have received good reviews so I put my trust in the system. I had previously tried to repair the faucet myself without success, so I feared the worst. The technicians confirmed that if they could open the line they would potentially need to open the wall and access the pipes. They were quick to assess the problem and they ultimately were able to clear the line without opening the walls. They were cleaned up and out of the house within an hour. Very professional and I would hire them again for my plumbing needs.

I called for service in the morning. They explained that they were very busy that day but they would let me know mid day. Because of the schedule, they were able to come in the afternoon. Chris listened to me about the problem. He did an analysis and solved it quickly. Cost was explained ahead of time. Very professional company. Will definitely use them again. They were super!

It went well. only took a 1/2 day. He totally cleaned up after the work was complete. He explained that the only way to stop the drain from backing up every 6 to 8 months would be by breaking up all of our floor in the kitchen and part of our living room which would cost $10 to $12 thousand dollars. The house is older and the code might have been different at that time.

We have used Lakeside many times now and every time I'm impressed with their professionalism. They are always easy to get a hold of and very responsive. For this most recent job, we had a very old sump pump that we wanted to replace, so we had them come out for a quote and they were competitive with the other plumbers we brought in. We also had them look at a few other concerns we had and they didn't do a hard sell on anything and helped us determine what our investment priorities should be. The day of the rip out and install, the two techs who came were incredibly clean and did a thorough job replacing the sump pump and cleaning up what was once a hot mess of under code pipes. They even unexpectedly cleaned out the sump pump pit which had decades of gunk and grime, putting everything into a large bucket that they took with them to dispose of (opposed to leaving us with it to deal with). The techs were incredibly professional and pleasant -- we're once again happy that we made the decision to work with Lakeside.

Nick came right away, and he was able to replace both shutoff valves on either side of the meter in approximately 2 hours. Very satisfied with his work.

They were very quick and responsive to our need for the water heater immediately. They researched it and found that our size gas heater was no longer produced and gave us other options. They came in and evaluated the situation (did not charge us anything for the consult). They returned phone calls and emails promptly. When they came for the installation, they completely forgot to tell us beforehand that we were responsible for securing an electrician to wire the new water heater, so we had to go another day without hot water. We have no experience with water heaters, so we just assumed they would either take care of it or tell us ahead of time that we needed to take care of it, but we didn't find out until they were actually installing it. They had noticed that a valve needed replacing and were nice enough to offer to replace it for us. The installation was completed within a reasonable amount of time and appeared to be done well. However, they gave us no information or walk-thru on what work was completed. They just picked up and said goodbye after collecting our money. They took care to not make a mess of the main areas in our house, however, they left the crawl space very filthy. They had tracked in dirt and grime all over in the crawlspace, and there were pieces of hardware everywhere in a place that is small enough that one has to crawl around on their hands and knees. They had not taken any care to leave the crawlspace in a neat or orderly fashion.

Our kitchen sink clogged and backed up over the weekend (due to lots of rice and noodles down the garbage disposal.) I left a message for Lakeside Plumbing on Sunday, they called me back promptly at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning and Chris was at our door at 9:30 a.m. He was very polite, friendly, and professional. He had to rod the sink multiple times until he was able to clear the entire obstruction.

These people are awesome. There office people are great at scheduling and taking care of concerns. We had a broken dishwasher line and needed several other things. These guys are real pros! They took care of my house while working on it, they were very nice to my son, they did the job quickly and accurately and billed me fairly!

I had them come out to rod out my sewer lines during the Polar Vortex. They were prompt and very professional. This was the third time I had used them and I was very happy. I asked that they come out and give an estimate for replacing galvanized pipes in my basement. After several weeks of working out schedules with the owner (Tom maybe?), he finally came out. That's when the waiting game began. I called several times asking for my estimate. My final call was on Feb 14. I even said on the phone, "It feels like you don't want my business." I was assured that they did and was told that the estimate would be emailed in a few minutes. That was the last contact I had with them. No estimate. No follow up if they thought I got the estimate. Nothing.

Great people to deal with. Came on time, did a professional job, very neat. Overall experience excellent.

They helped us a lot and we were pleased with them. It went great. It hasn't been rotted in several years; it's in a new house. They were very efficient, fast and clean. They took a video to show us before and after. I refer them to all my friends.

We had a leak on the first floor ceiling from a toilet in the second floor master bath.We called Lakeside Plumbing who came and determined that the seal between the bowl and tank was leaking and the inside mechanism was corroded. In addition the wax seal might have been leaking. The toilet was 25 years old and of minimum builder quality. Direct parts were no longer available.Since I had injured my back we decided to replace the toilet with an ADA approve comfort height and elongated bowl toilet. After an extensive internet search we found the Kohler Gabrielle was to ADA specs and had sizing to match the existing toilet. We decided to replace both toilets on the second floor to avoid future leak problems. We also choose a one piece design for this reason. Lakeside Plumbing said they would install any toilet we bought but we could get as good a price on our own. They suggested Ferguson Enterprises who gave us a better price than the big box hardware stores. They also did not charge a delivery charge on two 100 pound toilets. I called Lakeside the day the toilets were delivered and scheduled the installation with two men for the next day. They arrived on schedule and removed the old toilets , unpacked the new toilets and carried them to the second floor. They installed the new toilets with new wax seals and supply lines.They took away all the packing and the old toilets. They completely cleaned up both areas. The two men took a little over two and a half hours to complete all the work. The total bill for the installation was $393.25 We also paid $155 for the initial service call and recommendations. We saved this amount buying from the recommended vendor. I was very happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone

they did not end up coming out , but they answered some questions related to a plumbing emergency free of charge. very nice and professional, will call them again when needed.

I called first thing Mon am (husband had tried all Sunday to clear clog); was given a 9:30-11:30 window; the plumber arrived a bit before 10am. He carefully drained the pipes right under the sink, diagnosed that the clog wasn't immediately around the sink, went to the basement to see how the sewer pipes were configured, then got out the rodding machine. The rodding machine was screechy, but effective. By 11:30, after filling the sink and flushing 2-3x to make sure big slugs of water drained uneventfully, my problem was solved. The plumber cautioned me to keep an eye on the under-sink joints for the rest of the day to make sure they were secure. He had put on the blue booties when he entered the house and left the work area as neat as he found it. All the while, he was friendly & explained what he was doing & why. This was my 2nd or 3rd experience with Lakeside over the past 2 years -- the plumbers have always been prompt, competent and very pleasant to deal with.

I had John and Mike and they were two of the nicest guys I've ever had from a trades company. They explained everything they were finding in their investigation, determined quickly where the water was coming from and resolved the issue inside of an hour. There was no trying to sell me more work, they were professional and a pleasure to work with. Lakeside's number is now in my mobile phone directory and will be my personal plumbers next time I have an issue.

I'm very satisfied with them because of their expertise, their service responsiveness, and their professional nature. Everything they’ve done has been great.

Very well. These guys were prompt, honest hard working and legit. I can't say enough. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. No nonsense, good work, and fairly priced.

Very professional and friendly. Assessed problem and then discussed findings and solution with me. After my approval to begin, the work was completed quickly and the entire area was cleaned up. The service person told me to watch for certain things throughout the next couple of days to make sure there were no other issues. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Everything is done to perfection or they will come back immediately .... Clean, professional, friendly from answering the phone to being on your home.... You absolutely can't go wrong!

the guy was here pretty quick. it was around 11pm so i was happy the company had emergency service. the problem for me was the price. it was exorbitant. I have never had to call a plumber to unclog a toilet before so maybe they all charge $200. but i personally think this was way more than it should have been.

I always get three estimates. Lakeside was in the middle price range. They arrived on time. One of the other Angie List companies were hours late just for the quote and another was pressuring me to do the work right then and there at the time of quote. It's funny because the two other disappointing quotes offered a drainage into my below unused crawl (so if the heater burst it would not be into my kitchen) and Lakeside did not! BUT they did change out the carbon monoxide piping, sighting a leak, that the others never mentioned. Anyway, I never know who to believe or trust and hopefully I made the best decision for my home. Time will tell.

We called Lakeside Plumbing with an emergency on a Friday afternoon. They were able to come out right away, but charged us an emergency rate. Our shower handle had come off and we couldn't get the water to shut off. Nick came on time, and shut water off to shower. He sealed the plate and fixed the stem where the handle attaches. He did not have a replacement handle that fit so we had to go out and buy another one and install ourselves. The 2 bath hardware companies he suggested couldn't help us and they didn't carry that size (it is specialty) which I think he would have known. He was going to check to see if they had one at the shop, but he never called us back. While we were happy he came to shut the water off in the emergency, we would not use them again.
