I have a 7.1 surroun system for my basement and bought a new 5.1 surround for my family room. They installed the wires and speakers for me. I found them to be very friendly, highly professional attitude, caring for what I needed out of the assignment and very thorough in performing thei duties. They took extreme measures and avoided cutting any holes / drilling into the walls. They were very methoical and consistent in how they ran the wires and hung the speakers. I would highly recommend them.

Totally rewired phone jack outlets to become internet outlets, then installed Apple Airports Extreme and two Airport Expresses to create a solid wifi zone throughout our bomb-shelter-like home. Awesome customer service. High price but TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY. Improves our life every day. Can't believe I can finally connect in the basement, in the bedroom, in the office, in the livingroom... stream video; everything! Awesome customer service; great follow up; great explanations; kind; even suggested holding off on further work I had intended to do just to see if the first solution did the trick === it did, and I didn't have to pay the extra money to wire the basement as well. They could have made off with more of my money but were honest -- seemed like a relative or a good friend in that way. Highly recommended -- every day we think how happy we are with this rather pricey expenditure. Totally worth it.

Brent and his team did an outstanding job with the installation and setup. He was able to get us good prices on the equipment and was very responsive and professional throughout the process. We had a component go bad after 8 months and he had it replaced on warranty very quickly.

Overall, I felt working with hooked up installs was a very pleasant experience. Their estimate was fair and they did a lot of work in one day. Some of the quality was a little off (the electric outlets used for the TV didn't fit the gang box so stick out a little bit) but since they are behind the TV you wouldn't notice them. I would definitely use them again.

Responded to me right away and scheduled. Owner Brent and installer were very Professional, polite, and prompt. Installation date came and installer was on time (even early) and spent a lot of time working on a multi-connection problem I had with my Home Theater. Was very patient when I asked questions. Afterward, I noticed a problem with recording on my DVD/VCR combo unit in the Home Theater, where the VCR (yes I still use) did not record. Installer came back out but was unable to fix the problem. The unit was older and I had never recorded on it - it recorded the static that the channel showed, but unable to record a video signal. Since it did record the static, I think there was a problem because of the set-up of the theater was complicated (TV had multiple inputs). I decided that since he had worked on it so hard and diligently over probably 3 hrs over 2 days, and VCR recording is out now, I didn't push the issue. I can still play VCR/DVD recordings. Also, I had a DVD that had problems in all playback (as it does with scratched DVDs) after the service (so its basically useless), but the DVD player was old, and I believe just the movement of the player caused problems with the laser reader in the machine. So because of the 2 issues I will be getting either a DVR or DVD recorder for my TV shows in the future. Don't really blame the installer, since I got the TV working again after many months of not having it.

Overall we were satisfied with the work that was completed. We did not think we could mount the tv because of the weight and the situation with the metal studs behind, but Hooked up Installs completed it and we are very happy with the service.

They weren't the cheapest, but they were the best. Brent paid attention to what we wanted, explained in great detail about everything he would do. He seems extremely honest with high integrity. When we are ready to do this work, we are going to hire him!

Brent did a great job of communicating and providing multiple options for equipment purchases and installation. He and his team were very professional and the final results were outstanding.

I contacted Brent to discuss my home theater needs and he called back right away. Brent said that he doesn't typically come out to Naperville but because I found him through Angie's List that he had no problems coming out. He's about one hour away. Brent came out and evaluated my home and all of my equipment. He made great recommendations on speaker, TV, and equipment placement. I did end up purchasing some new equipment and a beautiful equipment rack and all of the prices were very reasonable. On the day of the install, everything went perfectly. The crew arrived on time as promised. They had all of their equipment and supplies with them and they spent over 10 hours completing the job. Prior to leaving, they made sure that everything was functioning and that I felt comfortable working all of the equipment including the new universal remote. I'm very happy with my decision to work with Hooked Up Installs. I would definitely work with them again!

Brent (and his crew) answered all my questions / concerns in a quick, through, timely manner and also offered resonable suggestions. The crew was professional, polite, clean and well-organized. Their customer service is above par. We have had several compliments regarding our new enterainemnt system. I give ALL the credit to Hooked-Up Installs.

I contacted Hooked Up through Angie's List. They were at my house giving me an estimate two days later and the team was at my house two days after that. They were super fast, professional and asked all the right questions to make sure we were satisfied.

I have told friends and family about them and I absolutely recommend them. I think they're a fantastic small company. We had such a great experience with them and still continue to and will always use them in the future. We were almost about to go with another company and just wanted to get one more quote at 9:30 at night and the owner of the company answered the phone and we went with him.

I called Brent to get an estimate on rooting our wires behind our wall, hoping that the wouldn't have to cut open the walls either. He came out to give me an estimate that same day on rooting the wires and possibly installing a Sonar System. He followed up by phone and email to see if we have any questions. We ended up not installing the Sonar System. He made an appointment to have the wires rooted a couple days later. Two of his employees came out. They were able to root the wires behind the wall without cutting open the walls and they even hooked up our DVD player to our DirecTV properly. They were very professional and left everything very clean. I would definitely use them again to install or fix an issues you might have.

They hooked up the pre-existing stereo system in the house that I moved into. They figured out the old wiring and made all the speakers in the house work. They also wired and hung my flatscreen tv above my fireplace. They got all the work done in one day while I was at work. I would hire them again.

The team from HookedUP was really great from start to finish. Brent and the guys were patient, thorough, and careful with the equipment, the floors/walls--everything. We have never had a professional A/V hook up previously, so we weren't sure what to expect. Turns out, this kind of thing is a really big job when done properly. The guys ended up mounting the televisions and had to find a way to conceal wires behind a fireplace wall and laced throughout the baseboards. They did an outstanding job, and it looks amazing. We get compliments on it all the time. Cost included mounts, brackets, labor. For the amount of time they spent, it was well worth it. I highly recommend these guys and will definitely use them again.

Showed up quickly to provide an estimate. Work was performed in a professional and timely manner. Installed full surround speakers in my living room, and hid all components in a cabinet. Very very pleased with the work.

Brent and his team were very professional and provided top-notch service on time and on budget. From the first time we met with Brent we were confident he would do a great job on our project and we were not disappointed. His team installed a Sonos system to our new town home but the sound quality was not what we expected due to cheap volume dials installed by the prior owner. The Hooked Up team (Ray) diagnosed the problem right away and scheduled a second visit to install impedence matching volume controls. The team installed the new volume controls and even gave us a complimentary new speaker selector. Once these were installed the whole home system worked perfectly. Thanks!

This is a great company. I emailed Brent, the owner, one evening and he responded that same night. We swapped emails along with some photos of the area to be worked on and he had a written, itemized quote to me within 24 hours. On the day of the appointment, Ray and Michael were stellar. They showed up early, set up shop and got to work. With installing the mount and running the cables, they were there for the better part of 6 hours but were detailed and methodical in how they went about their business. The TV looks awesome and a little drywall work made the wall look like it had never been touched. Overall, great experience and would definitely use them again.

Brent and his team did a great job! We moved into a new place, which had an existing whole-house sound system, and some wiring in place for a tv and speakers. We asked Brent to install a new tv, and to integrate an old and much-loved stereo with the whole-house system. It also turned out that the wiring in place for the tv was outdated. Brent give us a number of options for working with the existing wiring, but we opted to have new wiring installed. The results were great. They managed to get all the old components and the new tv working together very well. They also were able to run new wiring while cutting far fewer holes in the walls than I had expected. And, their work was incredibly careful and neat. When they were done, everything was perfectly in place and working great.

Overall I'm very pleased. Brent was patient and responded to my questions promptly and professionally. He addressed all of my concerns. The crew he brought was great and arrived on time. They spent about 3 1/2 hours and it looks great and cleaned up afterwards. They answered my questions on how to use the devices. Would definitely use again.

After visiting Magnolia at Best Buy to inquire about 2 TV installation in our basement, we were shocked at how expensive the installation was. We decided to contact 3 companies from Angie's List. 2 responded, but only Hooked Up followed up on my multiple emails and concerns. Brent was extremely responsive and was the only one to offer to stop by to check the rooms and material we had. He sent us a proposal within 24 hours and was able to schedule the installation for the following day despite the long Thanksgiving weekend. We were worried at first because the two guys who came to perform the installation looked really young, but don't be fooled by their young age! They were very experienced and definitely knew what they were doing. The installation went very smoothly. They took the huge TV packaging away for us and cleaned up after the work. They explained how everything was working, and Brent checked out on us a couple of weeks later to make sure we had no issues with the systems. We were extremely happy with Hooked Up and will definitely use them again in the future. We highly recommend this company.

Ultimately we booked the job with Brent to install the Sonos system The install went well and we are loving the system. I would definitely use these guys again.
