Excellent. I received a few quotes from various providers, and Hooked up install came up with a very simple solution (SONOS) that we can use through our iPhones and ipads. We now have music in the rooms we want, and do not have to access so many gadgets. Our Music, Apple TV, cable, DVD etc.. is now all on one easy to use device and the music now streams from either our iphones or our kitchen computer. All in all, I was pleased with the suggestion, the install and the professionalism of both the owner and the young man (adam) who did the install today.

It went really well. Brent's business was really busy, what with the holidays and all, but he scheduled me prior to Christmas. He stopped by prior to the appointment date to check things out - he was late for this appointment but he informed me he would be. Best that he did stop by because the job ended up being bigger than he expected. However this meant some scheduling conflicts for him, but in the end it worked out and he himself came to help with the installation. He fit us in even though he had a $90,000 job in the city compared to our much smaller job. But he told me he'd do it and he did it - he and his partner managed to do all the prep work and were ready to hang the TV just as it was being delivered, impeccable timing. I am glad we had professionals do the job and not anyone else. I don't doubt that mounts and experience hanging TVs have everything to do with our current viewing experience.

Brent is amazing to work with. From the initial call back within half a day to follow through on exploratory emails/ phone calls to followup after the job was done. I know that I got the best equipment for our situation. He is very willing to talk things through and change things up in his Proposal-( we are middle aged and needed SIMPLE stuff- not the best of the best of the best!) He worked so well and kindly with us.

Everything turned out great! Brent first came by and we discussed what was to be done. Then I received the quote, which seemed fair and reasonable. We then scheduled the installation date. When the day arrived for the installation, Ray and David arrived on time and proceeded to run through what was to be done. They asked questions throughout the installation to ensure things were how I wanted. They were very professional and great to talk with. Upon completion, they ran me through the remote's controls to show me how everything was programmed. We even spent a little time listening to some music to see how everything sounded, which was fantastic! They cleaned everything up and were on their way... All in all it was a pleasure to work with the three of them on this project and I will be contacting them in the near future for another project I am planning. If you are in need of this type of installation work, do not hesitate to give them a call...you can't go wrong with them!

A complete mess. It's four years later and at great expense and inconvenience, the problems caused by Hooked-Up are still being addressed. The whole system needs to be replaced, but budget and logistics have not allowed that level of rebuild. The company was paid over $200 thousand dollars. They had precious access to the building for two years during the construction phase, when all wiring and infrastructure was put into walls. As a Band-Aid since then, many corrections have been made, and many of those still necessitated ripping into wiring and walls. During the process, Hooked-Up ignored many job requirements and mandated specifications and "did their own thing"; much of this wasn't discovered until after they left the project. Their management of time and budget was terrible...their delays caused construction messes, problems and delays for other sub-contractors. The system they installed has never been fully functional, and never will be until it's replaced. A disaster!

Brent and his crew are first rate. They do great work and know their business. While they are super business, there is a reason why-they are among the best in Chicagoland at what they do. Brent went out of his way to work with me in terms of timing and problem solving. I can't recommend them enough and will definitely have more business for them in the future.

Brent and his team are second to none. I have had several home entertainment systems installed in different homes. Hooked Up Installs is by far the best. From the minute I spoke with Brent by phone, throughout the planning and finish of the system, I felt completely comfortable and knew I had chosen the best company. Brent did an initial home visit and then within a week had a plan that was somewhat different then what I had imagined. I had never owned a projector TV and had not been impressed with other systems I had seen, so I was a bit tentative. Brent assured me it was the best choice for my basement theater system. Man, was he right!!! I could not be happier with what the team installed and configured in my entire home. It has been at least 4 months, and everything continues to work, sound and feel great. The team was extremely professional, called me whenever there was an issue to discuss and in about a week or so, had everything completed. They even made 2 additional trips to my house after the completed project to tweak some things. Brent has been easy to contact if I have any questions, but I have only had to call him a couple of times early on after the install. I will never use another company for any of my home entertainment system needs. I had read other reviews on Angie's List, prior to choosing them, and if it wasn't for Angie's List, I would not have found them. Every penny I spent on installing this system was well worth it, rather than cutting corners to save a few cents. Thank you, Brent.

We used Hooked Up Installs to install a TV and home sound system into our new home. Brent and his team made us feel like we were their most important customers! They were professional, honest and very responsive. I would highly recommend them and would use no one else for my home sound and theatre needs!

These guys were reliable, professional, knowledgeable, and very available on demand. We have high standards and don't mind paying for superior service, but they were a "value" relatively speaking. Having used Hooked Up for two homes now, we will continue to be loyal to them. I feel they are a good, hard working, smart team.

I began working with Brent in the summer of 2013 in order to plan the entire video surveillance system for our house. Brent was very knowledgeable and understanding of the requirements necessary to install the right system for our house. Since we were building a new house Brent was accommodating enough to make special trips to confirm the layout of the cameras in order to make sure the initial design was correct. That is just one example of the great customer service Hooked Up provides. My wife and I were very pleased with their promptness and their level of courtesy during the entire process and I would use Brent and his team again for any future jobs.

Wow. What a top notch service oriented company. Brent, the owner is on top of his game and a really nice guy, that has true passion about his work. He's very knowledgeable about anything and everything electronic. He takes his time with you which is good to see in this fast business world we live in. He responded by email right away to me thru a Bose inquiry, then after seeing my home explained how Sonos is a better fit for what i need, and yep, he sure was right. You get what you pay for when hiring a pro like this. Sonos is an incredibllly designed sound system for your home. Truly addictive. The seperate outdoor rock speakers that Brent recommended were perfect for what i need. His two installers were also both very knowlegable, friendly and did a great install at my home. I would definitly recommend Brent at Hook Up Installs. This company is going places!

Very polite, professional, and helpful. Project was done quickly. Very neat, exactly what I was hoping for. Price was right in line with other quotes. I will call them again for other projects.

They are an excellent company. I was very happy with the young man that came and I will definitely use them again if I needed to.

Everything went great and the guys did an excellent job. Everything looks perfect and they were able to install my rear speakers where I wanted (one was tough since it was on a pillar).

They were amazing. I ended up having to go with a different person. But they were very price competitive, very responsive and I give them a very high recommendation. I would have wanted to use them but my builder wanted to stick with his brand guy because he knew his own guy, so he would not let me choose who I wanted. But had I been able to choose, I would have gone with them. They were really good. They were better than other people and it was really good quality service. I do not own the house yet so I could not change builders. The price they gave me was the best.

This is the second time we've Brent Metz's team out to our house for work and even though this job was much smaller in scale, Brent and his team again provided top-notch service. We needed to replace an older 780p TV in our basement. He recommended a couple of options and when we picked one he brought the price down to match what we found on sale at Best Buy. I offered to buy it myself and have them just do the install but he just matched the price and saved me the trouble. The install day went smoothly again and his team put in recessed speakers and new receiver as well as universal remote system. We were having some painting done shortly after and they recommended we paint the shelf behind the TV black to enhance viewing. What a great recommendation. It makes a tremendous difference. Needless to say, if I ever have another multimedia project, Hooked Up Installs will be the first company I call.

Was unable to find appropriate code for DISH network remote, and found that my hardware would not allow me to use my sound system for audio, because it doesn't have enough inputs. But he completed everything else and explained clearly what needed to be done.

Brent and his crew were very punctual and professional. The price was a little higher than I thought going in, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Once everything is agreed upon a date is set and one of his installation crews will show up as scheduled; I?ll repeat this part, they show up on time as scheduled. The crews are professional, neat, and knowledgeable. They will spend as much time as needed not only to install everything correctly and in the most easily operational configuration but also make sure you know how everything is hooked up and how to operate as this could be very confusing for most people. Brent and his team are the BEST! We had moved into a new home with a complicated existing setup that wasn't working properly. Brent helped us with a new TV, new AV equipment and installation of a Sonos system. The installation went perfectly, but 18 months later, I can vouch that the customer service is the best part. When we've had issues, which are inevitable, Brent is immediately responsive over email and has been back to help and replace some faulty parts at no charge (despite our trying to pay). This is truly a company devoted to customer service and one I would recommend with no reservations.

Brent Metz's team did a fantastic job. He came out for the review and quote on the date and time promised and was very knowledgeable on all areas of the home theater set up we wanted to do. He provided a quote within a few days and once we agreed to do the work scheduled it right away. He responded quickly to all my questions, either by email or phone. The team that came out to do the installation was extremely professional (also showed up on time). Did all the work in a day, which involved some tricky rewiring of our existing home theater setup. The final product was nothing short of astounding. We can't wait to have our friends over to experience the home theater set up. My wife, who is hard to please, was extremely impressed with their work. So much so, we are going to have them come back out to consult on some other work we want to have done.
