Description of Work: They hooked up our DVD/VCR player to a television. It was a smaller job than they normally do, but they still treated us with respect and did a great job.

Description of Work: They were good. They made recommendations then they worked with me to fit my budget. They installed an AV system in my basement. The basement was roughed in with studs and electric and Hooked Up added the AV. Then, after the basement was finished, they came back and finished the setup. Overall, it works great. I really appreciated them working with me to fit my needs and budget. If there's room for improvement, I wish they had explained in more detail what the finished setup would be like before. Also, the Contractors placed the tv outlet and mount and that was not in the best spot - I wish Hooked up would have been on sight with the mount to make sure the placement was best. Overall though, great setup and great system.

Description of Work: We used Hooked Up Installs to install a home theatre system with a new 84" 4K TV along with multiple surround speakers, receiver, and subwoofers. Quality of the work was good but it took much longer than expected (full day for several installers) and was a bit pricey, but overall good quality for a complicated job. The one issue which disappointed us is that one of the HDMi cables they used on the install was defective. This caused us many weeks of problems trying to trouble shoot why the TV would not work properly. We spent add'l dollars hiring ABT technicians to come out twice and purchased a total of 3 Denon and Yamaha receivers thinking that was the issue, but in the end, ABT determined it was a bad cable. Wish Hooked Up had done sufficient trouble shooting on their own - would have saved us significant $, time, and frustration.

Description of Work: We had them install a couple of TV's, in-ceiling speakers, and they hooked up AV equipment for the home entertainment system.

Description of Work: Installed complete home theater system. Bought all equipment except for existing speaker system. Equipment prices were competitive with Abt. Mounted the 65" TV and rear speakers. Connected all equipment (TV, Blu ray player, receiver, DirecTV Genie, wii U system and programmed universal remote control. Overall the system looks great and works well. Will be contacting to address some minor bugs, but would use again.

Description of Work: Brent Metz and his team did a great job installing new audio video equipment, SONOS digital sound, universal remote controllers, and corrected previously installed wall mounts. Brent got our household electronics working again and upgraded us to a new generation.

The best service experience I have ever had (and I am 72 years old) - Brent replied to my original email immediately, came out and listened to what I wanted and quickly discussed options and then provided a detailed, very reasonable estimate. Description of Work: We have used Hooked Up Installs for our audio / visual components and speaker installations in our house. Regrettably our maids keep messing up the television wires when they clean (I guess I should be pleased they even clean behind the television), but Hooked Up Installs is so great that they will even answer semi-desperate emails and calls to troubleshoot what's wrong with our television system. I'm very happy to have someone who provicdes such great after-sales service. Top notch.

Description of Work: Brent and his team were amazing!! I really had a wonderful experience using Hooked Up Installs!! Brent worked within my price range and was honest and didn't try to upsell me. Adam and Ray came to install the speakers and TV and they were efficient, knowledgeable and made sure everything was cleaned up and the way they found it when they left. Description of Work: Brent came out and gave me an estimate on removing an old flat screen with an awful install with cables hanging out. I told him I wanted a TV over the fireplace; he recommended one and that same night he emailed me a proposal with everything specifically listed. His whole theory is communication and I've never EVER felt as comfortable with anyone doing work on my home as I did with him. The install was today, and I have to tell you, Adam, Mike and Ray worked their tails off. They not only mounted the 55 inch tv over the fireplace, they installed ceiling speakers which were a PAIN to run the wires to...and not once did I hear a complaint. Adam is a genius, he actually moved my input of my cable to a completely different place without having to drill through siding! They also installed the tv from the family room previously and mounted it on the wall of the master bedroom. They worked from 9:45 to 8:00, never slowing down, totally friendly, answering any questions I had, and can I tell you the outcome?? My family room, once a source of embarrassment, is now something I'm proud of. I have never EVER seen such amazing work from such wonderful guys. Truly, if you have any of this type of work planned, do yourself a favor and at least call them. Brent will impress you with his friendliness and knowledge and the guys who install will blow you away with their abilities. I literally cannot say enough about them!

Description of Work: I had purchased a new flat screeen TV and blu-ray disc player from another vendor. They delivered and installed it. The TV had more capabilities than I was able to access i.e. news. netflex. movie downloads, etc. I called and spoke with a representative and told him what I wanted. Within a couple of days he sent two svc techs to my home and the completely rewired everything in about an hour. They replaced most of the wires I had behind my TV and gave me everything that my new TV can offer. I had a surround sound system prior to them coming but, it has never sounded as good as it does now.

I didn't know what I was looking for, but Brent (the owner) came out and took a look at my room, and he recommended a great system. They installed a 50" plasma television with a phenomenal in wall speaker system that greatly exceeded my expectations. I bought all my equipment through Hooked Up Installs, which made it really easy for me because I never had to leave my home plus they gave me a great deal on the product that I do not think I could have received anywhere else. They also fished wires through my already finished walls that I did not think could be done, and there are no visible wires, which is very important to me. My system is awesome, and I would recommend Hooked Up Installs to anyone.
