Everything went just fine. They were very professional and I was impressed that the only holes cut in our ceiling were the ones exactly where the speakers are located. I love the sound we get from our speakers; it totally transforms our entertaining at the holidays and we would engage Brent and his guys again when the need arises.

Nov 2009 Phase 1 of this job went very well, all work was done in 1 day with exception of one volume control. I was very impressed with the professionalism, care and cleanup Adam and Bobby provided. We had trouble accessing an outside wall to install wire and volume control so we elected to wait until refinishing work in our basement (Jan 2010) would allow this wall to be opened up. Brent and his team coordinated with us and our contractor to complete installing 2nd volume control, this was done in an a few hours Jan 18, 2010. Brent was always available when we had questions or needed help with remote (programming additional equipment, stations, etc.) The service, during and after the sell was excellent. I will definitely use them again and will recommend to my friends and family!

Excellent- completely hassle free. The estimate was fair, questions were answered promptly, they were able to do the job within a week of the estimate. What is really apparent is that these guys really know their stuff. There was no guessing, no question marks and no hesitation. They were efficient, friendly and extremely professional. They will definitely be my first choice for any future project. Very capable team.

Reached out to Brent via cell phone. He came over, gave me an estimate. He quickly answered all questions I had regarding each line item and adjusted pricing as components went on sale during the process. His team came over and did a great job mounting and setting up wiring. Also cleaned up as they went which was very appreciated. WIll prob add Apple TV soon and plan to have them come help me with that also so it is totally integrated into my system.

This was an excellent experience. Brent was extremely professional and detail oriented. He promptly came out for an estimate and spent as much with me as needed to talk through options to determine the best configuration for the system. I especially appreciate his focus on quality and no detail is too small for him to address. After ordering the equipment we needed, installation was completed the following week.

Hooked Up did a great job, from start to finish. Brent impressed me right off by taking the time to come do a personal estimate, as opposed to doing one over the phone. He discovered key installation challenges during his visit. He gave me a quote via email that evening and responded quickly to subsequent email exchanges. For installation he sent 2 great employees, Bobby and Adam who also did a great job.

They were great from start to finish. On time, clean, courteous and completely professional.

Everything went very smoothly. The crew arrived right on time and immediately began bringing in the gear. They were scrupulously neat: they wore booties over their shoes and placed the boxes, entertainment items, and equipment on mats. After they checked with me on where I'd like the TV placed on the wall, they worked quickly and efficiently. Once everything was installed, I was thrilled with the clean lines of the setup and the quality of the new television and sound system, which provided a stunning, theater-like experience. Brent then very patiently showed me how to use the universal remote he'd set up and answered my myriad questions. After the crew had completed the work in the basement, they came up to my living room to install a stereo system I'd obtained earlier (not from them) and set up a digital TV box on a set in my kitchen?all at no extra charge. Throughout the day, they made themselves available to answer any further questions I had about the installation and the new cable system I'd arranged to have set up after they left. When the cable company proved unresponsiveness to my concerns, a member of Brent's crew even came the next day to assure me that the cable installation was as it should be.

It was a great experience from the beginning. Brent came very quickly to provide an estimate for the products and services I needed. Without my asking he looked over the DirecTV service that was being installed that day and noticed that the installers were not installing the lines properly, which would have resulted in a big delay. This alone saved me a lot of time and frustration. Brent and his crew came about a weak later to install the hardware. He and his crew were always exceedingly (and I don't use that word loosely) attentive and responsive while performing the two installs. They were very accomodating when I asked them to lower the height of the living room set when I didn't like the height. No griping or equivocating, just a quick "sure" and back to work. Brent also gave some advice on layout and size appropriateness to the space.

Brent impressed me with both his deep product knowledge and his sincere commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service possible. He and his guys completed the work promptly and left us with a very clean and handsome finished product. I really can't say enough great things about how responsive, helpful and professional Brent was throughout the process.

Brent worked very hard. I have a complicated, old analog stereo and a modern video. Brent had to come up with a speaker switching device and had to make two additional visits. No extra charge and enthusiasm all of the job.

Brent Metz and Hooked Up Installs were an exceptionally responsive and diligent service. Brent's knowledge of equipment and what would and would not work best made the designing of my home audio/video system an enjoyable, easy experience. He and his team showed great dedication to the project, making sure everything was completed at the highest level of professionalism.

Overall, we were very happy with our experience.

Brent was extremely professional. He was a delightful businessman. However, we decided not to use Hooked Up Installs for now because we determined the 46" set would work sitting on a console. Our kitchen is already wired for wall mounting, so we decided to handle that installation on our own. I would definitely use him in the future if we needed a Stereo/Home Theater System and would recommend him to anyone in need of a system.

Brent was great. He explained all my options to me and let me decide what was best. These guys definitely know home theater. I would not hesitate to call them back for any future work.

They were terrific. They were very responsive and understood what we needed. They were very professional and really just enthusiastic about getting the work done well.

Brent came out and provided an estimate a couple weeks before the work was done. His price was a bit higher than another bid we had received but I liked his detailed explanation of the work so I asked him if he could match the other bid. He actually re-bid the work at a lower price than the other bid so we scheduled a date to complete it. They were over an hour late arriving on the day selected, but Brent and his team did an excellent job straightening out all the component cords, running them into the wall, hooking up the surround sound system correctly, running electrical and installing an outlet over the fireplace, and then hanging the flat panel TV. Brent drew us a diagram for the remote operation for the system. He suggested that we might want to purchase a universal remote that would work with everything and I think we will probably go ahead and do this through Brent in the future.

Brent from the start was very professional and was able to communicate to us in layman's terms. He visited our home for a consultation and was helpful in describing our options. His proposal was 100% on target and completed everything in one day. Excellent value and service. And he is extremely knowledgeable in the media/entertainment/tech world. I have already recommended Hooked Up to my friends who saw our system and wants the same media environment. The only thing the master remote doesn't do is go to the fridge and fetch me a drink!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Brent replied very quickly to an email request I sent out & one of the things in his response that really resonated was he said "and I personally guarantee you will be extremely happy with not only our service, but the quality of our work." Brent & his team absolutely take that guarantee very seriously. I contacted Brent the following day & he was able to come to my house within a few hours (he was finishing up a project in my neighborhood) & talk over my needs. He had some great suggestions that improved my system without adding any cost. I had asked for some hard to come by components (Nintendo Wii, PS3) & Brent was able to get them on pretty short notice! Brent & his crew showed up on the day of install, were very courteous & highly respectful of my home (e.g. they immediately took off their shoes upon entering, put cardboard down everywhere to protect both the carpet & the components, etc.). The install went great, the system looks fantastic & Brent & his team took the time to go thru all of the functions of the system with me. I am happy just thinking about the experience!

Hooked Up was very good and professional. Brent and his associates were very responsive and competent. Brent came out on a Sunday and gave me a quote same-day (I called him on a Friday). They needed to install a new power outlet for the television and did so quite easily. They installed the entire system as scheduled (within 2 weeks of the initial quote), and their quote was materially cheaper than multiple other service providers. They cleaned up nicely after completing the job, and came back to install the outdoor speakers when the weather warmed up despite the fact that I had already paid them for this portion of the job.

The project went very smoothly. We called to get an estimate and Brent was able to come that same week. Once we decided to go with them, the install was completed that week. Very professional, they cleaned up after themselves, extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I would hire them again in a second.

I found out about Hooked Up Installs through an online search of Angie's List for home theater installations. When I called, Brent answered immediately and we discussed what I wanted done. He drew up a proposal and emailed it to me the same day. The cost for equipment and labor looked very reasonable and he made excellent recommendations based on our conversation. Once I decided to have him do the work, he arranged to come out the following Monday morning. When I came home at 4:00 the job was done and he carefully explained what they did and how to use the remote. He was professional and knowledgeable and did not try to sell me anything I did not want. I would use him again and strongly recommend Hooked Up Installs to anyone who wants a home theater system installed or upgraded. I am very satisfied with all aspects of my experience.

Everything went very smoothly. The only problem was caused by the failure of the cable box which was resolved by Comcast the next day.

Brent and his team did a great job from start to finish. Brent responded to our request quickly, recommended the equipment we needed -- considering function, appearance, potential future extensions of the system and price -- and promptly supplied us with an estimate. He purchased the equipment we needed and brought it with him, arrived on time, did the installation, calibrated the sound, showed us how it all worked, cleaned everything up and wrapped up on time and for the estimated price. He also gave us quick and helpful answers to questions we had after the system was installed. Now, everything looks great and sounds great.
