Better than perfect. Miguel called 30 minutes before arriving, arrived exactly on time, explained exactly what he was going to do, did it perfectly, was extremely clean and careful, left our home cleaner than when he arrived, and charged exactly the amount that was quoted to us in advance.

I chose Green Air Care because of a coupon I found on Amazon. Matt and another guy came to clean our vents, returns and sanitized. They were very detailed and showed me each step of the job. At the same time, we had a leak on our AC. Eric came to check it out and he was very knowledgeable. Having a Type A personality, I have to know every detail of the job. To make a long story short, I was very SATISFIED with his work. He did not cut corners, communicated very well and gave EXCELLENT customer service. All in all, I would definitely recommend Green Air Care for your air duct cleaning and HVAC services. THANK YOU FOR THE STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE THIS CUSTOMER HAPPY!

After Living in our Apartment for 9 years. It NEVER dawned on me to clean Air Ducts. Until my daughters doctor suggested it because she had so many breathing problems. I am glad I found these guys. I spoke with Alisa over the phone and she explained everything in detail how this process works. They came, they cleaned and just like that, I could instantly feel myself breathing in better air! I wish I would've find them years ago. Thank you for doing a good job!

Terrible!!! I will never call this company back to do work in my house ever again. They are a bunch of SCAM artists. My bill was supposed to be $240.00 and by the time the guy left it was $830.00. He scammed us into some sort of UV light to put in our duct work that will kill mold and bacteria and that piece of equipment was $650.00. I found out later you can get them off of Amazon for $70.00. I don't think he ever inspected my furnace and we had to call him back because he never cleaned our dryer vent. when he came back we had him take out the UV light he installed and issue us a credit for that. He was very pushy asking us why we didn't want whole new system. Unfortunately, I read many other reviews after the fact and this company has many complaints with the BBB and very few good reviews on YELP. Please beware if you decide to use this company!

It went terrible. The two guys that came were unprofessional. They wore their dirty boots all over the carpet. Dust went all over the house when they were cleaning out the ducts and they accepted no responsibility for it. They took several vent covers off and left debris on our furniture and carpet from taking them off. When I called to discuss what happened the owners son wanted to argue with me and wanted me to pay more money for additional services. Angie's list should be ashamed of themselves for allowing such a shady business to operate on their website. I requested to speak with the owner and was told he would call me between Christmas and New Years. He never called and I called him the following week and his receptionist stated he would call me once he got into the office. I never received a call. This place not only should be dropped off Angie's list but a case should be opened by the BBB. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY LIKE I DID!

Buyer Beware: if you are not an expert on HVAC related matters, and don't have any idea what questions you should be asking - they will not inform you ahead of time and will leave it to their technicians to deliver the news of increased costs outside your deal. Scheduling was a breeze, and I was called three times to confirm the appointment in advance of it, so far so good. The technician was very friendly and gave me a walkthrough of the work that was to be provided. He explained that I would need a waterline installed. Ok, that makes sense for the device - my hot water heater is right next to the furnace so no big deal, do what needs to be done. Then he explains this is work not covered by the angie's list deal. Furthermore, it's going to be an additional $130 in order to install the line. At this point, I have already spent $350 dollars and I need the device anyways for my family's well-being, so I am basically forced to say yes. NO FAULT to the technician (who gets an A across the board) he could have easily told me after things were done and I respect that he did tell me upfront. What blows my mind though, when I called to confirm this (always trust, but verify!) and ask why I wasn't informed of potential additional charges the woman on the phone was very condescending and rude. First off, I called strictly to verify and also suggest that maybe this kind of information could be shared ahead of time (BTW, if you don't have a water line its $X...if we have to do this, that or the other thing, its $X) for future customers. I did not expect anything more than a 'sorry for the oversight' - instead, I was told that it's basically my fault that I didn't know I didn't have a water line available to the humidifier AND that I should have known to ask about it instead of them being irresponsible by not asking me. I was also given an analogy "if I bought a furnace you wouldn't expect someone to put in duct work without an additional charge". As you can imagine, my response was what you might call a 'no s*** shirlock' moment as that has no bearing on the matter at hand, which is I wasn't informed by a company as to their service guidelines and requirements at any point in the text of the deal or in my THREE scheduling calls. As someone who faces the client side in my company, this is horrible customer service and will ensure I never do business with you again. If this was a luxury, and not a necessity for my infant son I would not have gone forward with the work and would have gotten my money back through AL or my CC company.
Description of Work: They installed a whole house humidifier and also ended up needing to install a waterline.

It went good. I think they came out and did the work early October of last year. I think they did charge me a little bit more than that because I had them add coolant. It was a hundred dollars more or something like that. Sometimes emailing back and forth they wouldn't always respond. I had to stay on top of them. That was just I had to find the time that they could do it, they could only do it I think it was like Monday through Friday and I work Monday through Friday so. The worker was good to work with.

Green Air Care replaced my furnace and outdoor ac for a very reasonable price. After the furnace was installed there was a leak and I called them and they came out right away. The leak was not their fault, it was a broken water pump, but they offered to buy a new one and install it the same day for a small fee. I have also used Green Air Care to clean my vents and air ducts and they are very thorough and professional. I will continue to hire them in the future.

I had am amazon coupon that promised cleaning ducts and dryer vent. When I made the appointment I requested certificate of insurance and gave details for that as well as detailed directions to my location (it's VERY complicated). Certificate arrived via email day before appointment - at my telephoned request. Office called about 30 minutes before arrival, then the techs called about 10 minutes after to say they were on the way. They arrived just at end of the 3-hour window. Polite, professional, pleasant. A little bit sloppy. They did answer one of my big questions about size and shape of ductwork - q square (appx x8 ft) with . The constant upsell spiel got very irritating. Equally irritating was refusal to clean or even the extra air intake grille so I could wash it and they then could replace it - despite promised services of "Whole House AirDuct Cleaning Including Unlimited Vents, One Main Line, One Return, Dryer Vent Cleaning, and Furnace Inspection."
Description of Work: 1) took registers off all 3 wall ducts, vacuumed a short way inside each, used a small rotating brush (very sparingly) 2) swiped a hand inside the duct and showed me the small amount of plaster dust that they called construction debris 3) gave me an almost continuous upsell spiel despite my repeated refusals 4) let me wash one register while they worked on the other 2 ducts; we agreed it was not necessary to wash others 5) refused to clean an intake grille (through the wall into closet where heating/cooling unit is); said it was not part of the heating/cooling unit

So the day of the visit they arrive several hours later than the promised window because a previous customer requested additional services. During this cleaning, I had to go downstairs to two vents with one of their techs to make sure nothing was damaged or removed without my knowledge. During this time, without me or my wife's knowledge, one of Green Air Care's techs gave permission to a man not wearing any identifying company shirt and no badge to enter our house. Neither my wife or I knew that this person was not part of their crew until the man came up the basement stairs with our water meter asking us to sign paperwork for a smart meter replacement. Needless to say, my wife and I were very upset about this as this could have been a thief looking to gain access to our home. We have several electronic pieces of equipment that are worth thousands of dollars in our home. In the end, we accepted the apology of the lead technician after he instructed his technicians they could not give any person access to a house unless they are part of their crew. During the visit, the lead technician recommended a sanitizing of the ducts since there was a concern about the previous house owners pushing feces into the return ducts and my wife would be soon having a surgery that would involve her being in the house for several weeks of healing. This was a $700 additional charge which I eventually charged to my credit card. Additionally, the vent in our bathroom and one of the bedrooms is now hanging loose since one or more of their techs damaged the wall to the point that they do not secure into the wall. We did not notice this immediately. Over the next several months, we continued to smell an odor and when I was finally able to get time off work, I contacted Green Air Care to have them refund the purchase after my wife had our HVAC installer confirm this was due to dirty ducts and not a result of gas leak from the furnace or AC units. Both Ashley (Scheduler) and Tiffany (Manager) informed me that they would not refund the service without us giving them a second opportunity to correct the problem as required according to the contract we signed at the completion of the first visit. When the day came for the visit, I again had to wait several hours past the promised service time window because a previous customer had 3 furnaces in their system. Once again, I was understanding of this and had them begin the cleaning. This time, the lead tech informed me that the first cleaning had not been performed properly (the blower had not been connected to the central air duct main trunk and he saw visible signs of excessive debris in the vents). During this visit, the lead tech showed me several locations that had several inches of debris on them (paper cups, dust piles and a plastic monkey). A few weeks later, I found that the last crew had left a substantial amount of debris in the return duct of the living room during a network cable install. When I brought this to the attention of Ashley and Tiffany again, they told me that they couldn't offer a refund, but told me they could send a cleaning crew out a third time. At this point though, I have had enough of the lost time and hassle of monitoring the cleaning crews and I requested a full refund. Tiffany initially said she could offer a $100 refund and the third cleaning, to which I responded that this was not acceptable as I would now be going with my HVAC installer to properly clean the vents as my wife has upcoming surgeries again where she will be recovering/healing at home.sh
Description of Work: HVAC duct cleaning The first time, the provider sent out a crew of 3 men, two of which spoke absolutely no English, the remaining team lead spoke with a heavy russian accent (thank god my great grandfather was russian). The crew was to perform a whole-house duct cleaning, and per recommendation from the team lead, I paid an additional $700.00 for the ducts to be disinfected. Both of these services turned out to be complete failures as our HVAC tech had to come out at a later point for a bad smell coming from the ducts, which he attributed to dirty duct work. The provider when contacted about this told us that the contract we signed required us to have them sent out a 2nd time to remediate the service, which they attempted and failed to do yet again. The last time we heard from Green Air Care, they were still refusing to refund us after I sent them pictures post-2nd visit showing 3 inch tall stacks of dust/hair balls in the living room main return duct.

It went horrible!!!. The first step was duct cleaning, as part of getting the AC unit installed by them. The duct cleaning crew arrived about one hour later than had been promised. The next step was to get the AC unit installed. The 2-man crew took 9 hours installing a simple AC compressor unit in the back yard. We have a single family home that had previously had central air so we don't understand why it took them such a long time. During the installation, we asked if the coil system should be installed over our already existing down-flow heating unit instead of under it. The installed assured us that the coil system could sit on top of our down-flow unit and cool the same as if he had installed it under the heating unit. I don't know if the installers were simply wanting to avoid having to remove the heating unit and found it easier to simply put the coil system atop the furnace. As we suspected, the AC unit was not cooling the house at all. The only thing that we were getting was small amounts of air, as all we had was a simple fan. I called Green Air to come out and inspect their installation, since the AC unit didn't seem to be operating as it should. Green Air finally agreed to send out a technician to look at the problem. The technician didn't bother to check the AC unit or any of the installation work that the company had done. Instead, he simply stated that our vents were too small and that there was nothing for him to do and he left. I contacted Green Air and asked to speak with a supervisor. At this time, I was transferred to someone named Eric. He stated that he was a supervisor. As I tried to explain our issue and concerns, Eric kept talking over me. He than proceeded to suggest that we might need an additional AC compressor unit installed to cool the second floor, where bedrooms are located. I informed him that our house was not that big and that the salesperson that they had initially sent out stated that the AC compressor unit was more than adequate to cool off the entire house. At no time did the salesperson or the guys that did the installation make any mention of our vents being too small. Eric, the supervisor, proceeded to try and sell us on buying an additional unit or having the house ducts aerosealed, which would have incurred an additional expense to us. Seeing that I was getting nowhere speaking with the supervisor, we decided to call a different company to come out to look at the AC unit, etc. We were informed by the new company that the coil system should not sit atop a down-flow heating unit because it would never cool properly and could potentially cause the heating unit to corrode with time. The new company took out the furnace and moved/placed the coil system underneath the furnace. After that was done, the AC unit worked as it should and cool air comes out of every vent, including vents in the second floor. We ended up having to pay an additional $700 to correct Green Air's mistake. I contacted Green Air regarding obtaining a refund for the $700 that we paid the other company. Green Air stated that, aside from the copy of the receipt for the $700, they would need to come out to our house and "inspect" the work that had been completed by the other company. I took half a day off from work so that Green Air could come out to "inspect" the work. They gave me a 9AM-12PM window. At 11:30AM, I received a call from Green Air that the representative was running late and would be arriving after 1PM. I informed them that this was not acceptable and would need to reschedule. Eric (stated that he was the owner of Green Air) arrived at our house on Saturday, August 29th to 'inspect" the work the other company had done. Eric proceeded to argue that the other company had not done the work properly and it became very apparent that he was trying to intimidate us into not pursuing a refund. He kept trying to talk over me and it was apparent that he had no intention of refunding us the money that we paid the other company to correct Green Air's poor work. He stated that he had a $30 million company and had plenty of lawyers to defend Green Air. Eric also stated that he could call the village and have an inspector out to our house and that we could be fined for not having the work "properly done". I informed him that we would not be intimidated and that he needed to leave our house. We purchased our home within the past year and there were no problems reported in the utility room, where the furnace is located. I would urge any one considering to do business with Green Air to beware and think twice. And do not let them try in intimidate you.
