had purchase a $39 Living Social coupon for all the vents, dryer vent, one main trunk line and return line and the furnace inspection. When we first contacted them they said they were very busy and we had to schedule the vent/duct cleaning almost 3 weeks away. They called before to verify we were still on for the crew to come between 11AM and 2PM on the 11th. When they came in they wore their shoe covers and brought in a large "turbo vent" that pulled the air into the cleaner. Then the helper went around with a small wet dry vac to vacuum out the vents about a foot down the line (that was part of the $300 job. They didn't clean the cold air return vents but I forgot to tell them before they left. John pulled of the furnace humidifier cover and showed me the interior of the main cold air return line. It was full of dust and dirt. John said he could clean the line and the furnace and quoted me $300.00. I told him no and they started to clean up their equipment. I said they were suppose to clean the main line and the main return line and he said they don't do that for $39.00. I told him that was on the coupon and we argued a little. I called their office and explained that the coupon said they would do a main return line (John pointed to a cold air return and said that was all they do -they didn't even clean that). They told John to do the main line and John then told me they would do either the supply (heating main line) or the main return line (cold air return main line). Rather than argue with him, I told him to do the cold air main return line. They then got brushes and attached them to a drill. They drilled a hole in the end of the main cold air return line and inserted the brush. We turned on my furnace fan and then they cleaned out the 15-20 feet of return line. The dirt was caught by my furnace filter (not by their HEPA filter) but at least I believe the cold air return was cleaner than it was before. At least with me watching and arguing with them and the office, they cleaned most of what they were supposed to do. Because I was not happy with them I told them they didn't have to clean the dryer vent. I don't think they are certified HVAC people or even qualified to examine the furnace because John barely even looked into the heat exchanger on the furnace to see if there were any cracks. (There aren't any because I looked at each of the chambers inside of the heat exchanger.) I am so tired of these companies trying to do a minimum or subminimum job just so they can give us a higher quote because we bought the coupon. I've have bought several of these coupons through Groupon, Living Social and Angie's List and there have been some very good results. Then there are companies like Green Air Care.

Everything went fine but we should have had vents cleaned every 3 to 5 years.mike was very helpful and i would recommend to anybody.

Eli was super nice and worked hard however they did not clean around return vents that they opened. After they left I had to vacuum around all 6 vents. All the drywall dust and derbies were left on the floor. Thats not that bad but in my basement they left a lot of sharp pieces of metal that they cut from the ducts..... All over the floors ..... I have kids that play in basement all the time and that's just a safety hazard. Not what I expected from professional company.

We had an Angie's List deal to have the vents cleaned. It was hard to schedule an appointment, but eventually found a time two and a half weeks after my initial call that would work. The technicians arrived on time and were generally professional. They discovered that we had fungus (but not, according to them, mold) growing in both of our heating systems. They gave us what they claimed to be a deal (and we had no idea as we hadn't done any research to know how much to pay as we hadn't known we had fungus in our furnaces) to completely clean out both systems. They did leave some minor messes and untightened screws when they left, but they worked quickly and did take some preventative measures to contain the dirt, dust and fungus during the process.

Everything went well. They were professional and nice. They did a good job. They tried to up sell, but they did not try too much.

They did a good job, they were on time, they completed the job efficiently and meeting expectations.

Showed up on time. Cleaned and inspected air ducts and vents. Left no mess. Recommended other services, but, was not pushy!

Cleaned out a dryer vent. They were fast and efficient.

They did a very thorough job. The person Michael, was very thorough at explaining what they were doing. They got the machinery in and out in a timely manner. Then they let me know it was all cleaned out and ready to continue. They were very professional.

The receptionist gave a date 3 weeks out for availability but was able to fit us in sooner when a cancellation occurred. We purchased the deal for our dryer vent because a clog had rendered our dryer useless, and with 4 children laundromat costs were adding up quickly. The team of 2 arrived on time and were courteous, but after inspecting the vents and furnace began trying to upsell us for an additional $500+ of services for the furnace and duct system we were not comfortable authorizing as renters of our home. Once it became clear the we would not be purchasing additional services, it seemed the dryer vent was no longer a priority. While one team member continued vacuuming out the vents, the other kept pushing additional services-- removing the cover of an air return, knocking out some dust onto the carpet and replacing it to emphasize his point about the extra recommendations (they did not clean up the clumps of dust left on the floor, nor did they return our sectional to its position when they finished). When asked about the dryer again, he went out to the side of the house with a brush attached to a drill to snake up the dryer vent (looked to be about 15' of line for a 35' vent hose), ran it for a minute (with no air blowing through the vent from inside), and declared that the vent hose must be disconnected somewhere and there was nothing more he could do. They then packed up and left. We had another company out today and there was in fact a large clog in the vent, and no disconnection. We feel this company did a substandard job when there were no upgraded services purchased, and will not be recommending them in the future.

Company did a great job. They were extremely punctual. Although they did ask to inspect other vents, etc for cleaning there was no push to try and sell additional services. This was great given I knew that the vents were cleaned less than 9 months ago and the dryer duct I had them come for was missed by the prior provider. Overall, a good experience.

The guys showed up on time, and immediately got to work. It was a hot day, and I felt bad that they were working in such conditions. The 2 men that showed up were polite and courteous, but things soon took a turn that I did not care for.The men were supposed to clean the supply vents, but 1/2 way through the "cleaning" one guy pulls me aside and tells me that for our vents to really be cleaned, they need an extra $500 or so. I look at him like he's an alien, and he immediately tells me that he will call his boss to see about a lower price. He disappears for awhile, and comes back with a price of around $300. I tell him no. What is it with these companies?! I paid for them to do a job, and they want me to pay even more to do it right? Yeah, and somehow, without me even saying anything, you cut the price almost in half? Fishy fishy... The guys also left every door open even though I asked them to close it because my cats will run out. They broke my dryer vent to the outside, and didn't bother the replace it, the left my dryer running, left one of the vents unlatched which I found on the floor a couple of days later. This could have been a REAL issue if my cats had gotten in there. I also never saw any actual pressure washing being done (not to say that it wasn't, just to say I never saw it happen). All in all, I was not satisfied with their work. I don't know what they did while they were here, and the explaination was too difficult to understand. I would not use this company again.
