FIne. They were on time, polite and professional. The techs were great. My only issue was that when I purchased the certicate the website offered to schedule the cleaning then and there but I never heard from them until I called them.

We had a coupon for this service for $40ish, and they were running a 18% off for expecting mothers, seniors, and military at the same time. We're expecting in May, so we took advantage of this. We initially scheduled to have our ducts cleaned on February 28, between 11 and 2. When it got to be about one, I called to see what the status of the crew was. I was told that they had tried to call us earlier that week to reschedule. We never received any missed calls or voicemails. I confirmed that they had our correct contact information and rescheduled for March 5. This had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather. We finally had a crew come out on March 13. They were very professional and didn't up-sell us. They also inspected our furnace and let us know that some things would need to be serviced soon, but didn't pressure us at all - they stayed straight-up informative.

Everyone that came out was very professional and arrived on time. Everything was great. I had a positive experience with this provider.

I liked these guys and felt they were honest, even though they do try to sell you services/products while they're with you. Our guys told us we had a variety of options and recommended the middle option, rather than one of the more expensive two options. They take before and after pictures of the vents and show you as they work, if you're interested. I tend to ask a lot of questions. They were knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. The price was higher than non-eco friendly options, but not absurdly so. I was happy to pay the difference since I have young kids in the house and we were home the day the did the work.

They came late to perform the work. After they started work, they told us that they could not clean the main part of the vents I wanted cleaned, which was right near the furnace, without some extra "sanitizing" and talked us into paying another $150 for this additional service. Further research we did afterwards informed us that this is not really necessary and doesn't really do anything. I felt like it was a scam.

This was an Angie's List Special. I called the company prior to purchase to let them know that I was on the second floor and that the dryer vent was on the alley with no easy access without a tall ladder. They assured me that this would not be a problem so I purchased the dryer vent cleaning as our condo association requires this annually. When I called and made the appointment after the purchase on AL, I explained to them again what acrobatics may be needed and was again assured that they could handle it and not to worry. When the two gentlemen arrived I showed them where the stackable W/D was and the vent leading out to the alley. He told me that he couldn't do it as he was never made aware of the need to have a ladder or would have to pull out the W/D to get to the vent behind them. He was also surprised that it was just a dryer vent cleaning and started the speech about doing more but I told him that it was a radiant heat building (Steam heat) and appeared annoyed that he couldn't try to up-sell me. I was going in for back surgery two weeks later and wasn't supposed to do anything like this but I did move it out for him. He and his helper grumbled and started the process. They were there for about 15 minutes with their drill and attachment and did some vent 'fluff' removal. They had to use my Vaccumn cleaner as they didn't bring one of their own to use which I thought was poor planning on their part (along with no ladder). They left quickly and a day later, when we started to do a bit of laundry, the dryer showed no air flow out. It was clogged due to their not doing anything from the outside of the building. I called Clean Air to follow up and let them know my dissatisfaction and when they could come back and remove the obstruction. They didn't have an opening until over a week later and couldn't fit us in, even though this was something that was done (or not done) by their staff. To their credit, after speaking to the owner, they did come out and the tech was instructed to go and buy a new ladder on his way to make sure they could reach the vent output and they made the situation right (thus the B on Responsiveness).

I was totally disappointed with this company. Where do I start? On the day of my appointment, I received a call asking me if I had an appointment that day?really??? So I promptly called back and they told me my appointment was cancelled. I told them I took off of work early for the appointment and she put me on hold for a while, hung up on me and when I called back she said she fixed it and I would still have my appointment. The guys showed up within the time frame provided. One of the guys ran though my house like a tornado opening all the doors, turning on all the lights and pulling all the floor vents out. After a few minutes he came to talk to me about how dirty my vents were and showed me with a flashlight all the dust in the vents. He told me it would be $300 for them to do a ?deep clean and sanitize? and he would deduct the $ I originally paid for the regular cleaning. I agreed to do this on a whim and didn?t think about what just happened until they were gone which I will go into in more detail below. Back to the service itself. These 2 guys were at my house for a little over an hour. They didn?t take the time to turn off lights or close doors when they were done. I felt it was sloppy and rushed. I know I was an evening appointment but I felt like they ran through my house because they just wanted to go home. I also did not get the ?scope camera inspection? as per the Angie?s list deal. Here is the kicker, a few days later I went to the basement to do laundry and my carpet and rug was SOAKED! I opened up the door to the furnace and found that my humidifier was dripping and had been for almost a week! So it took me 2 hours to clean up that mess. I also thought it was a bit unprofessional to ask us to use our phone charger when they got there and to ask for a cigarette while they were leaving but what do I know. So back to after they left. They said not to turn the heat on for about 30 minutes. When we did turn it back on, we smelled burning. I turned the heat off and began looking on the internet to find out if this was normal. At this point I found the National Air Duct Cleaners Association website and learned a lot more. PLEASE NOTE THIS COMPANY IS NOT A MEMBER OF THIS ASSOCIATION . Here is what some additional research showed ?When done by the book, it takes from 3 to 7 hours per system, depending on system's age, location, size & duct-work configuration" Minimum of 3 hours compared to the little over an hour that they were there...interesting. So I question how thorough this cleaning was considering the fact it only took a little over an hour. I also assume they didn't want to provide the camera as it probably wasn't cleaned very good and I agree with another reviewer that the dryer vent was cleaned from the outside and not the inside and I don't believe their spinny brush went very far down the tube although I couldn't see it. So I spent another $250 in addition to the $40 some dollars for the BIG DEAL. My voucher had a $329 value. So I don't understand if it was $300 for the "deep cleaning" and my voucher was for $329 worth of services, why wouldn't that cover the cost of this cleaning? Or if the $250 was in addition to the $329 worth of services deal then I should have gotten $579 dollars worth of work, correct? I cannot believe this was $579 worth of work for 2 people a little over an hour. ***UPDATE**** The company contacted me to find out what they can do to make me "happy" I went through everything I wrote above and they said they would come out and "redo" the cleaning. I agreed and we scheduled an appointment for that weekend. I was skeptical to have them come out again because of the issue with my humidifier but my husband said to just tell them to stay away from the furnace. They showed up on time, didn't bring in any equipment and began walking around my house lifting the floor vents and taking pictures (not even putting the floor vents back down properly). They tried hard to upsell me again with a furnace cleaning and UV light, telling me they would give me a deal because they were there already so I needed to buy it that day. They seemed very disappointed when I told them I would not be purchasing anything further. They did redo the dryer vent and pulled out a bunch more lint but that was about it. I just wanted to know if the whole system was cleaned but again they didn't put a camera down or remove any of the wall vents - just the floor ones. The reason I am so unhappy is 1. the amount of money I paid - I don't feel like I received any deal by purchasing through Angie's list 2. How disrespected I felt about the way they left my house (lights on, doors opened, wall vents not screwed in all the way, etc.), 3. The humidifier not being re-assembled properly causing the rug and carpet needing to be cleaned. The company did say they were going to credit me $50 because of the carpet but it is going to cost me much more than that to get it professionally cleaned.

The basically came and said that they would need to do additional things. They said that I needed an additional $600 worth of work. They told me that the deal that I purchased wouldn't do any good. I paid $40 for nothing. They did show up on time. They were at my house for only 10 minutes. It seemed like they put out a service so they could up-sell you on other things. **Update** After my review, company contacted me and offered to refund the money that I spent on Angie's list. There customer service department was nice, friendly, and apologized for my experience. I have therefore altered some of my ratings and would say the best thing about this company was there customer service after my initial poor experience.

I have requested a full refund and expect to receive it by this Wednesday.

The service was good. The man did turn off the furnace during the work, but he returned the next day to turn it back on. Other than that, the man was very polite and helpful.

The 2 guys who did the work were very polite and careful not to make a mess even though it was snowing outside. They did up sell, but considering this was the first time the ducts were cleaned in over 3 years (and after having some other work done in the condo) it wasn't unexpected. Overall I was happy with the service.

However, I know my ducts were very dirty as I have no idea when they were last cleaned. So given the circumstances, I really appreciate them being prompt and flexible with the work they did. I also really appreciate that they use green products for cleaning which is important to me.

The service turned out beautiful. They were such experts with what they were doing. The attitudes were beautiful. Scheduling was good. They showed me what needed to be done and they did a great job.

This was a specail deal through Amazon which I thought was going to be a good thing to get our vents cleaned out. Three (3) people showed up. One appeared to be the Supervisor and two young workers. The Supervisor told them what needed to be done and the other workers went about cleaning out our vents in our house. My husband was busy with the Supervisor regarding other services we wanted done and I didn't feel I needed to follow the other two works around in my house. How wrong I was. Hours after they left my son came home and went in his bedroom and noticed his charger for his phone was missing. My son plugs in his charger next to his bed which is right next to the vent that had to be cleaned out. I know the charger was there that morning because I went in my sons room that morning before this company came and moved the charger off of the vent but left it plugged in. Since this service was done on a Saturday, I had to wait until the following Monday to call them and let them know that our son's phone charger was missing. We told the company it wasn't the Supervisor that was in the room cleaning the vents, it was the two other workers. They didn't seem to want to believe me. I immediately cancelled my other appontment that we scheduled to have further work done by them. The girl on the phone apologized but didn't offer to find out what type of charger my son used so they could replace it. She said she would tell the owners and get back with us. A week later my son called them and let them know this wasn't a cheap charger it was an upgraded charger for his phone. The girl on the phone looked up the charger and offered to send him one that was equal but generic. My son accepted. When we received the charger three weeks later, it was not the charger he agreed to on the phone. I wouldn't recommend anyone use this company and if you do, follow them from room to room and watch everything they do. I feel like I wasted $39.99. I sure know the charger was worth more then $39.99. I have to wonder, how many other people have had things missing from their homes after this company has left. Sincerely, Debbie Lewicki

The entire appt. Was about the upsell and how they really couldn't clean the ducts unless we bought a package on one of their 3-10 yr plans. Prices then ranged between $199-$1199.00. We have 2 furnaces and they then tell you they can't do all the ducts. And they can't even do the one from the promo unless I spend hundreds first. It just felt like a scam to get into my house. We were totally unimpressed. That's probably the first and last deal offer I'll buy off Angie's list. I am used to getting a known commodity and a job well done whenever I hire anyone. You don't expect to have to book another appt. Waste of our time.

They could not have been nicer and went above and beyond.

After their technician inspected my ducts, I was told that the $40 included very basic vacuuming, and that my vents were quite dirty and required a more thorough cleaning & sanitizing. I was offered this service for $300 and I took it because it seems that the basic vacuuming would have made no difference. It was more than I was planning to spend, but at the end of the day, my ducts are now extremely clean. The technicians were very professional and courteous. They even let me climb up their ladder to inspect my vents when they were done. I knew going into this that my vents were filthy, as they were painted shut for years and I don't know the last time they were cleaned. I appreciated the technician's honesty, too. I would use them again.

Arrival was punctual. Three techs came to the house. They set up their equipment, one large machine for negative pressure in the vents and other large vacuums. They set right to work, vacuuming vents throughout the house. I was home alone and felt a bit nervous having them working throughout without supervision. The head of the crew proceeded to upsell all types of services aside from the vent cleaning that I had contracted for. I asked them to not touch my furnace, but he went ahead and tried to sell me a motor cleaning for $150. He also unattached an end from a major heat duct in the basement and took a camera photo of supposed buildup and mold that he wanted to charge me extra to clean out. When I asked him to send the photo to my email address so that I could show it to my husband, I was told that that would not be possible. The dryer vent cleaning was satisfactory and my heating vents did not blow out as dusty after they left. However, I felt that I was getting a rather hard sell when I said no to extra services because I was a woman. They left somewhat grumpy as they had not been able to make me agree to more than I signed up for.

It went well, they were dirtier than we expected and he was able to show us before and after pictures. The all-natural product made me feel good about it having little kids int he house.

I'm fuming at the "bait and switch" game used by this company. I purchased a voucher for cleaning of 13 air ducts. The voucher was "sale priced" at about $45.00. I wasn't home when the service men came, but my husband ended up paying 300 additional dollars for the air ducts to be cleaned. I find that this business practice is dishonest and would NEVER do business with these people again or refer them to anyone else!

It turned out well. I was pleased with the service. The only thing is realize when they’re gonna come, they’re gonna offer you additional products or additional services. I paid an additional amount because we ended up getting a more thorough cleaning. They did a good job. They were on time.

Big Deal purchase - cleaning of all vents, dryer vents, and furnace check. Overall, they were timely, they did a good job, and they provided good information regarding our furnace.

I purchased the deal on the 15th of November and thought they would contact me in a few days. They never contacted me. I called them to set up an appointment. The representative told me that the first available appointment was December 17th. I asked if they had anything else available sooner. She said they could do November 30th between 3 and 6pm. I waited all day and nobody called or showed up. I called them to find out what was going on and the lady on the phone didn’t know what was going on and said she would call me back. I decided not to use this company. Their customer service was horrible. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They were fine. They were quick to respond, did a nice job and very thoughtful. It was a big deal purchase.
