Description of Work: They used a big machine to suck out dirt and other debris from my air ducts. They also scrubbed out the insides of air vents in my home. In addition, as a favor to me, and because my ceilings are 13 ft. high, and some of my light bulbs had blown, the lead worker replaced light bulbs in my very high ceiling, and he repositioned my carbon monoxide detector. I really appreciated that extra bit of help he gave me, because I was much too short to replace the bulbs and to reposition the carbon monoxide detector.

Description of Work: had purchased the furnace tune up for $29 turned out that our humidifier wasn't working and needed to be replaced got an offer of $300 for a replacement and installation of a new humidifier.

Description of Work: Cancelled twice......given I wanted clean windows at the beginning of the summer, this was a waste. Had them do some of the windows outside. Very concerned when I saw the washer inside spilling water on hard wood floors (did not clean up) and putting the wet bucket on good furniture without protection. Would not use them again.

Description of Work: The two technicians cleaned every air duct I have. They were here on time, did a thorough cleaning job very efficiently, showed me pictures of the inside of my vents (before and after) and left my home spotless after the cleaning.

Description of Work: They installed a whole-house humidifier. The version they needed for our home was larger than what I'd purchased in the deal, but it seemed fair. Just wasn't anticipating an upcharge. We also added an air cleaning unit, so the overall cost was a good bit higher than expected but that was partly by choice.

Description of Work: The employee checked the air conditioner and looked at the furnace. Said both were fine. Polite and friendly.

Description of Work: They inspected my air conditioner to see if it was running up to standards. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and professional, I would definitely use this contractor again.

Description of Work: They called on the day of the first appt. and said they would be two hours late. I had stayed home from work but if they showed up at 4 PM ( appt was for 11 - 2 ) they would have had to work into dinner time and we had an appt. We rescheduled and they again called to say they would be over an hour late. When the person arrived, he could not figure out how to use a simple doorbell system and I kept sending the elevator down for him, but no one would be in the elevator. This caused many more phone calls to be made and added another half hour to the lateness. When the technician finally came in, I asked him how long it would take. Without walking into the place, he said 1 1/2 hours. I asked how he could know that without looking at anything and then showed him around. At that point he mumbled that this was a very big job and would take 2 1/2 hours, but maybe a lot more. At this point I totally did not trust this person to work in my house. I called the company and cancelled. They offered to make another appt. And send out someone else, but I had already lost two work days and didn't trust that they would show up on time or do a good job. I asked for a refund and was told they would do that.

Description of Work: We only had the company out for an estimate on replacing our duct work or cleaning it. It is old duct work and they suggested replacing instead of cleaning which was our thoughts also. also the cost of cleaning compared to replacement, replacement was more for our money.

Description of Work: They inspected my air conditioning and heating unit and made a recommendation for replacement. They were prompt and efficient.

Description of Work: They initially came out to clean and service my air conditioners. Both are over 15 years old and were not running efficiently. They gave me the option of adding freon and replacing some parts in the old ones, but recommended replacing them, because they were out of sync with my newer furnace. They worked very hard, were thorough and made sure everything worked perfectly before they left.

Description of Work: I know nothing about air conditioners so I was a bit at the mercy of the workers unless I wanted a second opinion. They told me that things were good except I need Freon and the kind my unit uses is expensive. So I ok'ed the work, they DoD it quickly and professionally, it was just a bit more than I wanted to be paying on that day. I hope to not need Freon again anytime soon and then I will be truly satisfied with the maintainance they performed.

Description of Work: They came in to clean the vents using the $39 dollar "special" which is really just a hook to sell something more expensive. I have kids with asthma so my husband went ahead with it but honestly, my vents don't look much different and I asked for before/after pictures to be emailed to me and they said they would by the end of the day and never did. Their customer service is lacking based on this that they said they would providing something they never did and it makes me wonder if what they did helped at all which is frustrating to be out $400+ and to feel that way. I would make sure you ask for and get before/after pictures right away before they leave. They were taking them on their cell phones which means they can be texted or emailed right away so you don't get duped into thinking an "after" is yours when it's not.

Description of Work: Complete and proper duct cleaning. Both supply and return. Vastly better than what was done a decade ago. Could not believe how much stuff was in the ducts. Some was still showing up in clumps on the filter 9 months later Had a groupon for about $75 of the bill.
