About us

Services provided Drake provides both residential and commercial services. We decorate many of Chicago’s high end neighborhoods but no job is too small. We also provide services to many commercial customers completing interiors and exteriors for McDonald’s, Burger King’s, Enterprise car rentals, hotels, restaurants, Doctors offices, Country Clubs, Associations, and Dentist offices, to name only a few. Interior Drake carries out all manner of drywall and plaster repair. We strip wallpaper, remove paneling, remove unwanted woodwork and perform full preparation to all surfaces prior to painting or paper hanging. We help with color selections and will paint sample boards for our customers. We do a wide range of faux finishes and have display boards to help with selection. We hang all manner of wall coverings and all fifty-four inch vinyl goods. We also install decorative trim such as crown moldings, chair rails, casings, frame moldings, and baseboards. We paint all surfaces including walls, ceilings, woodwork, metal work and floorings. Our capabilities include spray painting kitchen and bathroom cabinets for a fresh new look without you having to replace them. Exterior Full preparation is a must for a quality exterior job. Washing is important for a clean surface but does not replace the hard work of scraping and sanding. We paint and stain all wood exteriors as well as priming and painting of vinyl and metal surfaces. We have also carried out a variety of jobs such as painting hopscotch and four square courts for schools and painting signs for businesses. We have no issue with two or three story homes and buildings. We clean and refurbish decking and will stain and seal your deck to make it look like new.

Description of Work: The lead painter (Parvik?) did an excellent job as did his assistant. Parvik was very detail oriented and his work was perfect. The project took longer than I had hoped but still reasonable. We will use them again.

Description of Work: The painter himself was wonderful. He did an amazing job, was careful and clean. The owner/contractor/contact person for the company was where my issue was. It was difficult to schedule, and he either misestimated how long the job would take or he wasn't upfront with the information, because it took almost double the time he told me it would. Also, when my job was already running behind, he pulled the guy at my house to work on another job, and when I confronted him on that choice, I was told, "That's just how things work." I would never use this company again even though the end product was okay.
