Called and left a message for Dan and on the same they called back, asked what needed to be done, and scheduled an estimate for tomorrow. Painting and plaster repair was done within one week of the estimate.

Drake did a great job....complete interior ....compete exterior.....really high quality.....and on time.....about one week on the inside and three days on the outside

Outstanding!!! I have been doing business with Dan for over 20 years for both painting and wallpaper. Dan is a pleasure to work with and so patient -it is unbelievable. Last year, we had a bee problem and so one bedroom needed a rush job as the ceiling had to come down in the closet. Somehow Dan and Courtney were able to get us a team in a few day which was remarkable and so appreciated. This time Francisco and his team came out to do our painting. Oh my goodness- they were amazing in their work. Not only was their work perfect, but they were a joy to have in the house. This team went more than the extra mile to help us with everything we needed. I never after to worry about clean up but will mention it as other folks need to know- it is always done well and with no mess of any kind around. Today it is so hard to find professional that take pride in their work and are still willing to be nice to be around. Dan's professionals always have integrity and a skill set that makes it easy to have full confidence in them. All the work was completed in two days and done to my complete satisfaction. Everything was done as I had requested including leaving nails where pictures were hung. Not a spot was missed,the surfaces were all protected and my furniture was wrapped in plastic in each room to protect it. The painters were prompt,considerate and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. I have hired this company before and would always hire them again for any painting project.

They're great. I've used them a few times. Every time I use them the work is always done right the first time. No complaints. They're very reliable. Highly recommend.

The first guy did a horrible job but the second guy fixed it and it looks great. They fix their mistakes promptly and do an outstanding job and make sure it's correct.

Bob did a very good job in a timely fashion. He was punctual, courteous and professional. I appreciated his timeliness and help with an additional small area I forget to mention when quote provided. I will definitely utilize this service provider in the future!

It went very well. They were very accommodating and very neat. They were very attentive. I called to have them to come back to fix some minor details, and they were very accommodating with that.

The job was scheduled within my needed timeline and I was kept informed at every step. The painter did an outstanding job,clean and neat,and I cannot see the areas that I know he had to patch/repair. The painter was pleasant,patient and a delight to have in my home.

Very professional. No "wasted" wallpaper. Quote was easy to arrange and on time. Paper hanger was on time and efficient. A pleasure to deal with them.

I first used Drake painting for the exterior of my house. They did a great job. So, I used them for painting my master bedroom. They again did great work. My daughter then used them to paint all of the woodwork (cabinets, doors, etc.) in her house and the entire first floor. In every instance, they performed all aspects of the project with professionalism and expertise. Unlike other companies that I had initially contacted, they provided an estimate within a couple of days. Their pricing was very good. They also offered a 10% winter discount for work done during the winter months. I had to reschedule the initial exterior painting a couple of times. They were exceptionally easy to work with. The painters did excellent work. They were fast, but did flawless work. All surfaces are prepared or repaired as necessary prior to painting. Bottom line: every aspect of the projects were handled with extreme professionalism and expertise, their costs were very reasonable, and they were excellent to work with. I would strongly recommend them.

There was paint splatter all over our windows, they stained some of our window trim. The painting was uneven We paid for two coats. They were high. In the beginning they were responsive. They were actually punctual. I would not recommend them either. They seem rushed when they were doing it. Our house is cedar siding, so it was stained. They did not follow through on their end.

The painter did an excellent job and he was very efficient. The pricing was excellent.

Their prices are good, they are prompt, responsive, and they do good work.

Mark and his team did an excellent job. They communicated well and did what they said they were going to do in a timely manner. They were very professional. I am very happy with their work.

They painted of the side porch but they painted over wet wood. They said they would come back in the spring but never came back. They told me that they did come but they didn't. I called again recently and they came out. He emailed me explaining the flooring looked like dog traffic, but I don't allow any dogs in the building. The whole purpose for them offering to come back out in the spring was because of them painting over the wet wood not "dog traffic" He also offered to look into products that are more durable. I don't understand why they wouldn't have used those products in the first place. The email was sent by Bob. I see streaks of the old paint on the railing and its been less than a year. The stairs look ridiculous. There's huge patches of paint peeling off my side stairs.

Horrific. PAINTING QUALITY: The painters did an average job. They were very sloppy with patchwork, I can see previous nail holes and patches that were not sanded down properly in various spots. Overall, the house looks fresh. I think that the pricing of Drake is way too much, and I know from previous experience that there are more professional companies that do exceptional work at more competitive pricing. Primarily, I chose Drake because they were able to accommodate my timeline. THE REAL PROBLEM: When I came through my home to check the progress, I was in the other room and and I heard the three painters laughing and cracking jokes. The energy was uncomfortable. I went in to the room to see what was going on, and one of the painters had written on my walls in pencil. He had written a slang word for PENIS in German on my wall (I had to Google the word to see what it meant). When I asked them what it meant, he said it was a comment on how similar the colors in my house were. Being a female, I was shocked and felt extremely uncomfortable, intimidated really, to be alone in my house with three male painters who were obviously making sexual slurs and writing them on my walls while I was there. I left the house and called the Drake office. The receptionist was empathetic and kind, and she said that she would have the owner call me. He never did, but the foreman, Derek, did and he apologized for the men's behavior. I was still stunned, that was it? Nothing from the owner. This case of sexual harassment (let's call it what it was) was not addressed at a top level, which it should have been. Their solution was to take one of the guys off the job and sub someone else in. But, two of the three remained. It was an extremely unpleasant and unwarranted experience, I would NEVER work with this company again. In retrospect, I should have fired them on the spot. I wish I had kept the picture of the grafitti, I'd post it here.

They were prompt and detailed with estimate. Work was scheduled and they began the job quickly. They did a great job and were very informative.

Drake did an awesome job on our project. Mark was extremely punctual and kept us notified of his schedule on a daily basis. We were working on a tight schedule due to an upcoming vacation and Mark promised us that he could complete the job. The weather was extremely hot but he and his crew labored through it and finished the job as promised. We really liked working with Mark because he was very flexible throughout the project. He didn't demand that all decisions had to be made before the project started. He would work with my wife and I to make decisions and then based on their results, would move forward to the next step. This flexibility made Mark a pleasure to work with. We had Drake paint the front of our house which was very dated, dark brick. Mark knew exactly how to prep the brick with quality products and the finished job looked great. I would absolutely use Drake again for future projects.

Extremely unhappy. Drake was hired to paint our Family room walls and ceiling and staircase risers and spindles. We had used Drake a couple of times on some exterior commercial applications with good results. Unfortunately, their skill level didn't translate very well to residential work. On the first day of the project, Drake was to tape off the stained treads of the stairs and prime the other stair parts for painting the next day. At the end of the day, my wife noticed that Drake had primed an area of the wall that was not to be painted. The person who primed the wall displayed a bad attitude when it was brought to his attention. His response was that it was "no big deal" and we could just repaint the area. Luckily for Drake, we were able to find the paint and there was enough to correct the area. Having heard that we did have paint, the young man continued with the bad attitude and sarcastic remarks. We came to learn that this was the young man's first day on the job. I called Dan Malenfant to express my anger and concern, but the call went directly to his voicemail. This was a prelude to the many other phone calls I would make to Dan over the next four days. On day two, paint from the the family room portion of the project was spattered on the hardwood floors which had been freshly refinished. Though there were tarps laid, they did did not provide the necessary coverage to prevent the problem. Again, a call was made to Dan, again it went to voicemail. We did receive a visit from what we thought was the job foreman / supervisor. When asked why Dan wasn't returning calls, we were told that the foreman was actually a sub-contractor who was now in charge of the project. His crew worked on cleaning up the floor, and though it is far from completely cleaned, we decided to contact the floor refinisher to complete the clean-up at our expense. The supervisor then offered the opinion that the floor should have been completely covered with special resin paper before any painting started. Day three revealed the worst of the shortcomings. The primer which was used bled through the painters tape and on to the treads. Again, a call to Dan, again voicemail. The foreman's hindsight was that the wrong primer was used, as well as the painters tape. The next two days were spent trying to correct bleeding. The job was finally completed and we were never so happy to get any tradesmen out of our home. Not surprisingly, no follow-up call from ownership.
