Drake Painting did fantastic work! They spent time with me talking about the process, choosing a color and did a very meticulous job doing the actual painting. I also appreciate the communication; I always knew when they were arriving and leaving. Cleaned up with no sign they were there other than a deck that looks 110% better. Great job!

Purchased pre-paid paint time..., received average to mediocre results. Lines were not as straight and clean, lots of paint splatters & the smallest rm (bathrm) should have received a 2nd coat of paint. Had I not prepaid I think more attention would have been paid to details. That's my opinion

This was the third time I used this provider. They arrived on time and tackled a challenging painting job changing dark red walls to a lighter color. Tony and his crew (especially Tellis) worked hard until the job was done. They treated my home with respect and cleaned up before leaving I would definitely call Drake again.

My jobs were fairly simple: one wall in a powder room and an accent strip of wallpaper in the living room. However, the installer was on time, fast and left my home as clean as it was when he arrived. The only odd thing was that he didn't have a ladder quite large enough to reach the necessary height in my living room. I had to hold the ladder while he stood way up on it. Not a big deal though. The price was the best I received and the work was high quality. I'd definitely recommend them!

They did a fantastic job, I am very pleased with how it turned out. Cost was comparable to another quote we got. We had just bought the house and so it was completely empty which made the job easier. They were done in about 3 days with 2 coats on everything. On the first day they came (Wednesday), started their prep work, and made all of their notes on which specific colors we wanted on particular walls. I actually left a key to the house with them so they could start work early without me having to let them in every day. By Friday evening they were done! About the only hiccup the was the scheduling. After the initial call, the guy came out the next day or so and we had a quote. After we signed we were added to their schedule and were told that we'd get a call the Thursday before they would come. I didn't realize how booked up they were as they didn't call for another 4 weeks. In addition, June/July 2015 was extremely rainy/wet so that messed up their schedule and they said they were rearrainging a lot of jobs. Regardless, once the work started I was very pleased with everything. I would definitely use them again.

The service went extremely well. I had use this company for exterior painting, they did an excellent job then and they did an excellent job for this interior project.

It worked out great. They were professional, thorough, and precise.

Extremely high quality. Incredible precision. Anal about the smallest detail. Prep work was incredible. Sound advise on product colors and selection. Great to work with and will highly recommend them.

On time and came with a large staff. The whole main floor took only a few hours. The staff was efficient and did a great job. No complaints!

To paint the interior of our full house we received three estimates and Drake's estimate was very comparable to others. Bob did our estimate and then Dan answered my follow-on questions. Both were very patient and gave me a very good feeling. Robert, Tony, Jake, Andrew, Francesco, Oscar with others painted very patiently. Tony is the superstar here, who basically took over the show and understood our needs exactly, coordinating the team. They had challenges with the samples we painted combined with a very sunny house, but patiently have sanded them repeatedly to ensure they are not visible. Tony helped us choose the trim color as well. They're currently doing the job, and it's going very well. I'll update the review once they're done.

The team showed up on time every day and were very respectful of our flooring and belongings. We had a lot of tiny patches for them to fix/paint and they did every single one. When they finished the job they left our home cleaner than it was before they came. We had a couple of drips appear after they left and they promptly sent someone out to fix them. The final bill was incredibly close to the estimate. The only reason it wasn't spot-on was because our doors required three coats of paint instead of two (which they asked us for permission to do before they started the third coat). I can't recommend this company enough!

Excellent work, every step of the way, from meeting with Drake to discuss our needs, determining best course of action, best color choices, etc... through to the actual work. Painter arrived on time each day (project took 4 days total) - was professional, friendly, explained everything, and did a great job. The rooms all look great, top to bottom. Highly recommend Drake.

Drake painted all but 2 rooms in the house. They were on time, very polite and accomodating to schedules. Would hire them again!!!

We had a great experience with Drake. They provided great service, made themselves available sooner than competing bids, and the best price of 3 'A' rated Angie's List providers. I'm a harsh grader and did notice a few lines that weren't painted perfectly straight but don't expect any visitor or casual observer to ever notice. Would definitely use them again. A great touch provided by the owner when he came to give the estimate - he went through each of our 30 paint cans and told us which paint was still good vs. bad. In doing so, he freed up storage space for us and saved us a few extra dollars by using perfectly good paint that the previous owners left behind.

During the planning phase, Dan and Bob were very responsive and cordial. Where we had some issues was during the painting itself: * We were quoted 3 days of work. Instead they completed in one day by hiring additional help, not all were professional painters. There was a team of 6. * The work completed in one day but we found: - Areas of the ceiling were not painted - Crown molding was not well caulked leaving many cracks and separation * The team lead came back to fix the crown molding and painted some noticeable areas that were missed. However even today I'm finding areas in the ceiling that were not patched and/or painted. The expectation was entire ceiling gets patched (where dry wall nails chipped away original paint) and fully painted. The price was competitive but the quality of work was not good.

I have used Drake before for a bigger project and was happy. This time, I was overcharged by about $500 over the estimate and the quality of the job was sloppy in areas. The painters left several areas of painting dripping that dried, painted on my new white kitchen cabinets in several areas (looks bad) and even somehow spilled pill on another area where they were not asked to paint. Overall the paint job was sloppy and not up to what I expected from Drake based on my past experience. I paid $1650 for this work even though the job should have been closer to the estimate of $1050. I emailed the office and asked for an itemized receipt and explanation and got no return call or emails from a supervisor. I have a much bigger job scheduled in February and will be using a competitor and will not use Drake again based on my recent experience.

They did a good job; there was just a lot of work that needed to be done. They were not perfect. Cleaning up their mess was fine.

Drake was very good. They were easy to work with, pleasant and flexible. The work was excellent and the painters were efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Drake Painting.

Dean was fantastic. He was polite, professional, did great work, and cleaned up better than he found it. I would definitely use Drake again, and would request Dean if available.

It went very well. They explained what they were going to do and if there were any issues, they let me know immediately. They asked for me to look over the work and let them know if anything had been missed. I saw a few areas to fix, and they did it without hesitation or complaint.

It was a one man job and the gentleman was very good. Clean, efficient and no complaints

From the time I requested the estimate to the last day of the job, Joe and his crew were very professional and great to work with. After requesting the quote, Joe called me the same-day to schedule the estimate. Joe came on-time and delivered a quote shortly after. While Drake was not the least expensive company, I appreciated Joe's professionalism and thought it would pay dividends. It did. The price estimate was right-on, the start-date was accurate, the crew and crew chief were professional and the job was finished on-time. We had some color matching issues in the bathroom (my fault), but the crew quickly resolved the issue and completed the job that exceeded my expectations.

Drake Painting and Wallpapering came, saw, and conquered. I hired them to hang an 8' x 6' image of the Sistine Chapel ceiling on my office ceiling. Dom came by himself and did an incredible job. He treated my home like his home, took his time, but was efficient, and meticulous in his efforts. I HIGHLY recommend Drake and specifically Dom for any wallpapering needs you have. You'll be very happy you did.

I am very happy with the job they did overall. They called me soon after I purchased the deal of 40 hours of painting for $1,499 and were able to schedule to perform the service just a few days later. The two painters that came (the main one was Sergio) were very professional, polite and careful. They did a wonderful job and worked every bit of the 40 hours that were included in the deal. Sergio even asked me if there was anything additional I would like him to touch up to let him know because there would be some time remaining and he had gotten through my initial wish list. They were honest, neat and paid a lot of attention to detail. I felt very comfortable having them in my house and was impressed with the quality of work. I gave a B for punctuality only because the second painter was an hour late the first day and the second day they said they would start at 7AM, but did not come until 8AM. Overall, however this was a minor inconvenience and they more than made up for it with their efficiency, hard work and diligence. I will absolutely use this company again for any painting needs and would request this specific painting team if possible in the future.
