I had contacted Drake painting and wallpaper I have a very large older home, the owner came out to my home immediately and gave me a price and the following morning I received an email with the pricing details, he was very prompt and professional. I had a particular problem I had to get the work done while I was vacation he assured me that he would try to get everything set up to be there when they were working, the day that was scheduled he had sent out a full crew of workers they were bright and early. The following day he sent more workers to try to get the work done on time. I had a couple of minor problems that were immediately dealt with. The painting crew that was at my house were very personable and very good at what they were doing, they were very clean and neat, and everything was done to my satisfaction.

They arrived on time, after adjusting their schedule to accomodate us. The work was always done with great professionalism, quickly and competently. The results were exactly what we wanted.

Dan, and his foreman, Todd, were so pleasant, friendly, and responsive. They called before coming out for an estimate, called to tell us the scheduling, and called to say when they were leaving their own site and traveling to our house. Todd, the foreman, was wonderful in all aspects. He knows what he's doing, he's conscientious, he's prompt. He repaired a few problems that we didn't know about and made suggestions for continuing to maintain our house. Dealing with this company was a totally fine experience...and the price was reasonable. I would definitely use Drake when needed in the future.

They did a wonderful job. They had a fair price and were committed to doing it right. There has been a lot of rain this summer which caused many delays with outdoor work and they were very professional in responding to my calls and followed up with me consistently. Dan did not want to do the job with wet wood to ensure the job would be performed well and there would be no issues and when we finally had a break in the weather they were out here and did a great job. Covered areas and were very conscious of the landscaping around the house. I would definitely use them again!

We have used Drake many times over the years. Dan is such a pleasure to work with, professional all the way: responsive,timely and very knowledgeable. His crew is fantastic! We are a small office building and they accomodated all our needs concerning the minimal disruption to our tenants and did an absolute fabulous job! Can't say enough! Thanks to Angies list-it's not a shot in the dark anymore hiring services!

Working with Drake was easy and they did what they said they would.

Dan showed up on time to complete his estimate on May 1st. He went over everything with me that we wanted painted in about 15 minutes. He indicated that he would call me and also send me an email of the estimate. The work will be schedule about two weeks out from the initial visit. Three painters, including the job supervisor, showed up at close to the agreed arrival time. Took supervisor on a quick tour of the areas to be painted (two colors) giving him instructions to leave the picture nails in the wall. The crew started covering furniture immediately and helped to move out a rather large wall unit from one of the walls. The crew spent all day at the job from 8:45 until around 6 PM. They helped me move all the furniture back in place as well has moving and attaching the units of the large breakfront/china cabinets.

Superb job! On time, on budget, great attention to detail, quick and clean.

There were some issues with the dry wall, but they were fixed in a matter that satisfied all my concerns, they had a great price, and they were able to get the work done quickly.

Overall, this was a great company to work with. Rubin came on time, worked until 4pm. We worried about dust and having to clean-up after, but Rubin took care of everything. He was very clean and left nothing behind. His work is amazing; he is clearly a professional. I reccomend them and plan to use them again in the future.

While I didn't go with them they were great. They had an extremely courteous person representing their company. They contacted me several times wanting to come over and give us a bid. The gentleman was extremely professional, friendly, and their price was the second best quote we had for the work. Obviously we went with the other company - but, I would certainly contact them again when we need more work done.

They were very professional and they did a good job. The quote was what the quote was, there were no extras.

Amazing crew! Always on time, always polite and respectful. I was impressed with how clean and organized the work area was throughout the week. They started work on my house on Monday with an expected completion date of Friday. I added two more rooms to the original bid midway through the week. They did a beautiful job and even with the changes, were still finished by Friday. They gave advise on the project and it turned out better than I expected. Dan was always available when I had questions about the project and made sure I was completely satisfied with all of the work before accepting final payment.

These guys are PROs! They show up on time, are pleasant "house guests" when they are around (which I've come to really appreciate during the course of a six-week renovation!) and leave the place ship-shape when they leave each night. They show impeccable attention to detail in every aspect of their operation and they never take a shortcut. The caulking is perfect, the lines between hardwood floor and wall are laser-sharp, and the wallboard patches and skimcoat repairs are imperceptible. People on the home improvement shows say that in painting, the prep work is 75% of the battle. Well with these guys it's 90%. They expend enormous effort getting the walls smooth, the tape straight, the caulking perfect, and the tarps covering everything . There isn't a spatter to be found anywhere! Folks, there are few people I recommend unreservedly. You can pay more and you can pay less--they're sort of in the middle of the pack when it comes to price--but you won't find anyone who will do it better.

Received a call the same day I contacted the company. Easy to schedule a date. On time every day. Excellent job...neat and cleaned up before leaving. Would call them again.

Dan was very prompt in getting the estimate done and checking back in on timing once it became warm enough to paint outdoors. The two painters that performed the job were excellent and professional.

They were excellent. The guy come out here and look at it and make sure what we got to do and they send a gut out here and after the job was finished the house looked 1000 percent better. The guy who came to do work was great. Their bid was lower compared to others.

The owner was just really nice. He came out right away to do the estimate. He is very articulate and polite. They seemed to give us a good price. Some of the quotes were so cheap that we knew they might be spraying on the paint instead of painting, and he does not do that. There were other quotes that were double that price where you realize that they were just trying to get much out of you as they can. He was middle priced for quality work. We went with them because of his manner, the way he explained things in detail, and also on his quote; he wrote down the details because when they paint the outside of the house, it sounds simple then you get into the area of eaves, gutters, covering the landscaping, and the washing on how are those going to be done, what are they going to use. He was willing to talk about all that and actually put it in writing ahead of time. The people who actually did the work were also very nice. They cleaned up after themselves, and if I had a question about something, they were very nice about answering it.

We needed to repair a very large hole in our plaster ceiling in a bedroom due to a roof leak. I called 3 painting contractors for quotes to complete the project within a 2 week timeframe due to an out of town guest arriving. Dan fom Drake Painting called back the same day. He provided a quote on Thursday to repair the ceiling, apply 2 coats of white paint to the ceiling and change the paint color on the walls to a more neutral color. All with a top quality paint. He said they could start on Tuesday. The price was great. Ruben arrived right on time. The ceiling looks perfect, as if there was never any damage at all. The walls in the room were a bit of a challenge with the curves of the roof line. After 2 coats of paint on the walls, Ruben said it really needed a third coat to look good because they were plaster. I went upstairs to give him the okay to do the 3rd coat, but he was already finished applying it. As a professional who takes pride in his work, he just did it. There was no change in the quoted price. He finished the project on Thursday giving us an extra week for the walls to dry and the opportunity to shampoo carpets. Great work!

The results are beautiful. The work is impeccable. All the patching needed was done without our ever having to ask about that. Dan' team takes their work seriously and you can see that there is pride in what they deliver. The ceiling in the living/dining room is vaulted so all the detail work was much harder. The team did an unbelievable job. Sometimes a 'professional' will come in and do the job and it looks no different than the beginning. This is clearly not the case with Dan and his team. There are not enough great adjectives to use to describe their work. My husband said the result is the work of an artist and he is right. I would highly recommend Dan and his team and will continue to use their service. We are scheduled to have Dan's team come to replace the wallpaper in our hall bath after the contractor completes the work this April. I can be comfortable, that our money is well spent. Look no further, this is the group of professionals to use- They are detail oriented, work efficiently and clean up after their work. They even vacuumed the carpets despite the fact that they had everything covered. What more can one ask for-they even smile!

I found them on Angie's List but I probably would not use them again. They were fast, but sloppy in spots. My advice to others is to work very hard with the person doing the estimate to make sure they know exactly what to do. There were several areas missed that did not show up on the contract and had to be renegotiated. Those using them need to sign off to make sure they are doing a neat job and they clean up spills on stairs.

Very prompt in coming and giving me an estimate explaining everything they were to do. Showed up on time and completed the job in 2 days. It's still in very good shape 5 years later.

They were very efficient and did the work for the exact price quoted to me. Excellent experience.
