These folks did an excellent job. I had other painters do the bedrooms years ago and they put latex paint on top of oil based paint on all the trim and it started to peel off within months. So when Drake came in, they had to apply multiple coats to get it to cover. I would definitely use them again -- they were so much better than the prior company I used. The quality was excellent, they checked with me step by step when they had to make decisions, they were neat and clean and protected all areas, they were friendly and professional. I wouldn't use anybody else to do painting in the future.

It went very well! The job was finished in 2 days, and the work was excellent. The painter left the area clean and everything was placed back in its original spot.

They were very good. They came and gave me a price and honored their price. They did the job on time and did a very nice job painting the house and the garage. The price was reasonable but it was not the best. They were high but I picked them anyway.

I found about the company at this website and I emailed to the owner. He responded in a few days. We scheduled a meeting in the next day so he can give me an estimate for the project. He was very prompt. It was easy to communicate with him after the day of our meeting-we did use email , phone calls, phone texts. Always-excellent response. He promised the job to be done in two days but actually was done for 1 day only. The guys who come to the working area were on time, they show up even early. The crew manager listen very carefully what I wanted. He even called me in the middle on the day to ask me to come by and see how the work is going. All of them were very professional and friendly .Everything was perfect. I definitely will recommend them to anybody and use them again!

Overall we had a wonderful experience with Drake painting. Dan was quick to return my initial call and very nice on the phone. Turns out he and his company had previously done work in our home (had only purchased a couple months prior) as well as several of the neighbors. He provided a detailed quote within 24 hours and was more than willing to break it out into difference pieces b/c at the time we weren't entirely sure how much we wanted to do. Having the options was nice. When the team came out they were punctual, polite, and clean. They did take an extra day but we had a lot of detailed trim and expected that might happen. They asked if they could come back on a Sat or if we preferred they come back on Monday, which I thought was a nice, thoughtful touch. The quality was top notch and they were beyond polite when here. They even went out of their way not to disturb us while here on a Sat and painted in silence, even when I asked if they wanted to have music on. They kept clean while onsite and didn't leave a trace when they left. I couldn't be happier and only wish I would have called them sooner. Had never really used professional painters and after my experience with Drake painting, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. When you get a good contractor, hold on to them and Drake Painting fits that bill for us. Highly recommend.

Adrian was prompt each day and was through, precise and very careful and neat. He took down paintings, blinds, and window treatments and replaced all perfectly when finished. He used a high power vacuum while sanding so there was no paint dust flying around. I am very, very pleased with Drake Painting & Wallpaper Co., their pricing was great as well - I will definitely use them again.

Two men arrived at 8:30 and worked until 5:00 for two days. All work was performed in a very professional manner.

Painters did an amazing job, the paint looks very clean and even and the dining room had wall paper originally and it looks beautiful! The library was painted a navy blue which turned out gorgeous! I was very impressed with how clean the lines looked and they did a great job cleaning up! They were very fast took only 3 full days! and we were expecting a whole week at least! We had about 4 painters most days then 3 and they all were very nice and great at what they do! They double checked with me if they were unsure about something which I appreciated and even cleaned up paint that was very messy from when the other owners of the house had painted, they are clearly detailed in what they do! They were always on time too!

Excellent! I'm very pleased with the work. It's impossible to detect where the wall was repaired. They were timely and professional.

Bob and Rory are finishing up the second painting project in our home and we very pleased. They're thorough, accommodating, professional and I feel comfortable having both in my home. Dan's estimates are clear and concise. Thank you!

Drake Painting did a nice job overall, however there were a lot of imperfections that i noticed after the service was complete that i wasn't too happy with. Also, there was one night that they were there until 9PM finishing up painting.

Refinishing of the bathroom wood cabinets was superb! Some areas had the finish worn off. He sanded (not sure if he sanded the whole thing, or just what was needed), stained where needed (matched perfectly) and put a couple of coats of latex varnish on. They look awesome! Terry did a very good job of repairing and touching up where we needed. We did have much of our original paints, and he matched the colors very well and/or painted wall panels.

They ended up doing some additional work - stair spindles, entry way, baseboards, ceilings and doors. They were super nice, showed up on time, were very neat and courteous.

They're wonderful. They're very professional and the people were very friendly and nice. They seem to know what they are doing.

They were good and very nice. They are fairly neat. The only thing that I didn’t like was that they didn’t really sand the walls with a wall sander and there are still some imperfections that came to the paint but generally, they were very good.

The painting went great. It took about a week only due to the rain. The painters who came out were excellent. Professional, extremely friendly, easy to understand, didn't mind a noisy little dog. If our dog likes workers who come over, they must be good, because she is real protective.

They did such a good job in the interior of my house that I called them back to do the garage. They did a great job there too. George patched and prepped the walls. Then he painted the walls and ceiling. Very professional and courteous.

Drake painting did an excellent job painting the exterior if our home. They also cleaned, scraped and prepped our wood trim and siding prior to painting. They are friendly, professional and courteous. Great job.

Dan and Darek were great to work with. They were accomodating on scheduling (did the messy wall paper removal during the demo phase and then came back after tiling and plumbing was done to do the painting) and took care of a task that the tiling guy wasn't up for (removing a mirrored backsplash from a wet bar area) They were polite, punctual and professional when they were in our home and were a pleasant presence (i.e. playing nice music and laughing through the day, no crankiness or cussing - and they were friendly to my curious kids. My 3 year old daughter made Darek a flower to take home with him, she was quite enamored.) They patched little cracks along the moulding in the doors that I never would have thought to do myself and also ran out to the hardware store to grab a couple items that we'd failed to plan for (a vent fan cover in the bathroom and a couple pieces of baseboard) and installed them for us. There were a few very minor paint spatters on our hardwood floor that I only saw when I was doing a deep clean after the whole renovation was complete (I don't think its realistic to expect zero spatter, I would have done way worse.) The only issue we had is that there were dull spots in the paint in certain places that show up when the sun is on the walls. (I'm speculating that they lightly sanded spots where there imperfections noted after drying, maybe from residual wallpaper glue that became apparent after coated with paint) . They did come back to touch up the spots that I saw immediately, but you can still see that the texture of those spots is a little different than the rest of the walls. As the light changes in the house over the course of the year, I keep noticing other little spots where they must have done this. Except for the one very obvious area which they did come back and fix right away, none of these spots are probably noticeable to anyone other than me, though.

They were great. Very knowledgeable about how to restore my old doors, did a great job painting, were easy to work with when I added a few more items to the bid.

They did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very thorough. Everything looks great. The crew was there when they said they would be. Scrapped off the old, pealing paint and repainted.

Our experience was great. Everyone was courteous and punctual, the work was done well and in a timely fashion, and they communicated with us when needed. I felt the pricing was fair and the quality of the work really shows.

It went very well. When they where running late, they called before the time to meet, which I did appreciate. Otherwise, they came at the agreed time (both days) and did a wonderful job! I would certainly use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Contractor responded promptly to all calls. Called ahead to set up date. Foreman and crew were at our home early and finished in one day. Contractor, foreman, and all workers were very professional and friendly.
