The painters were very professional. Even though one was a contractor, he is a full time painter and was very experienced. He could have done more in an eight hour time, but the estimator and I agreed upon the amount of painting he would do. The price was good for what they did, but not cheap. I am very satisfied with the work and would recommend them for high quality painting.

First off, the company was very communicative, which I really appreciate, especially after waiting for a week for some other companies to call back. They were prompt and responsive and Rubin came out on time to start the project. He was pleasant and friendly and did a perfect job painting some hard to reach places. I would absolutely use Rubin and Drake Painting again. Thanks so much!

I purchased an Angie's Deal for labor only. This started off a little shaky for me. This is the first home improvement project I've ever done in my life, so I was a little unsure of how it worked. I was looking to the company to provide information a head of time in terms of how much paint I needed, etc. The responsiveness was not what I had expected either. I was able to work out the paint issue on my own and after I expressed my concerns (in maybe not the nicest of ways :) ) with the responsiveness, Dan was very accommodating and made sure I got taken care of. I am now sitting in my lovely light gray living room. The paint job his team did was wonderful. They were on time, professional and cleaned up after work was done. They made sure that I was okay with the job before the left for the day. I would definitely use this company again as I continue to improve my condo.

The house looks amazing! As good as new. They couldn't start the painting as originally scheduled because of the weather, but they kept in touch with us, so we knew at all times when they were likely to start. The job was done neatly and professionally--no drips or drops. I was very impressed that they took great care to match the white paint they applied with the original shade of white. We will definitely use them when we paint the interior of our house.

Absolutely fantastic job. He arrived early, fixed everything perfectly, was really nice, the price was more than fair. We will be requesting their services again when we have the basement done, and we have already recommended them to others.

Painter showed up on time and explained the procedures, pointed out minor issues that would need to be fixed before the work began. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and it looks excellent.

Dan responded promptly to request for bid, and provided a detailed bid within hours of visit. His office kept me informed of availability of painters, which depended on the cessation of 5 weeks of inclement weather. Two painters arrived daily promptly and in a very professional manner, scraped, sanded and chiseled off multi-layers of paint. The paint was too thick to use chemical strippers, which I had originally wanted, but quickly saw it would be cost prohibitive. Top quality Sherwin-Williams materials were used, and the original colors were correctly matched. The painters were friendly, outgoing and extremely hard working. They kept me constantly informed of the progress of the work. The work area was thoroughly cleaned of materials and debris. Our house is once again a painted lady jewel! Since chemical stripers weren't used, the job came in for a lesser amount than bid. Very enjoyable experience working with Drake Painting.

Ruben did a great job. He was super punctual, friendly, communicative and conscientious. He worked quickly and didn't leave any remnants or drippings behind, which is always appreciated. I would not hesitate to hire Drake Painting and Ruben again.

So nice, so accommodating, so professional. Dan went out of his way to make sure we got the painting done before an event we were having. Greg did such a quality job painting the three rooms. We will definitely use them again and will highly recommend them to others.

They were timely, professional and did a good job. I was happy with their work. The price was reasonable.

The work was efficient and well done. One man completed the work and did a great job. He actually went above and beyond. He completed the sanding and repairs on the first day and completed the painting on the second day. I have no complaints with the work that was done. If there are touch up’s needed, I would recommend that needs to be addressed up front before they leave. It is hard to get them to come back after completing the work because they are already off to another job. The deal and the work was both great.

Purchased Big Deal for 8 man hours of painting for $299. Two painters showed up and were going to work together for 4 hours. Before they began, Steve told me that if they run over the 4 hours allotted for the Big Deal the rate is $40/man hour and I was fine with that. I asked them to just let me know if they were going to run over before they did and that the additional rate was fine. The painters began by patching the walls and then painted the walls, trim and a small drop ceiling. We used a grey color to cover white walls. Overall, the finished product looks like an amateur rush job. There are several areas where you can still see white paint and brush strokes. Some patching is good and some patching is very messy. The painters took several phone calls while they were here and it seemed to me that someone was calling to rush them along to another job. I really wish the painters had said to me that they would need time to patch and paint to deliver a quality outcome. Instead I wasn't given a choice. They were packed up and out of here at the end of the allotted time. I have attached some pics - judge for yourself. As for me, I would not hire again nor recommend Drake Painting to someone else.

I prefer dealing with a company that sets dates for estimates and keeps me informed of what is happening.

Their promptness in getting back and getting in their schedule stood out. They do get back immediately, they return all phone calls.

They were very good. The owner was very responsive. He calls you back right away. He comes right away and give you price quote. They're pretty reasonable if you look at some of the other companies. They did a great job. They were there from 7:30 in the morning until 5 and they did a great job. They're coming back in a month.

Excellent service! They were prompt, on time, professional, did a beautiful job, and finished the job in a day! I would recommend them to my family.

Dan (owner of the company), came within a day or 2 of my call. He was sure he would do the paper removal, and it would work out fine!2 young men arrived on Monday morning, and proceeded to move furniture into the center of each bedroom and cover it all with plastic sheeting. They were very polite and worked very hard. One man prepped the one bedroom, fixing a ceiling that had puckered., it was perfect work. He filled in and plastered all other irregularities in the bedroom. The second painter began to remove the paper in the other bedroom, it was a long labor intensive job. He continually washed all the walls removing old wallpaper paste and the walls were made perfect for painting. The next day they arrived early and put on the first coat of paint, ceiling and walls. And started to do patching that was needed in the garage. They were immaculate, each night before leaving, everything was cleaned and put away. The third day the second coat was put on the bedroom walls, they never looked so good. No paint, on the woodwork, just where it belonged! They put a first coat on the garage walls and returned Thursday to finish the garage. We have never had such wonderful painters! (And we have had quite a few.) We will have them back again and again. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Perfection!

For the wallpaper removal- Did an excellent job without damaging the drywall. I had worked on a portion of this room already for hours and was not able to get anywhere close to finishing it. Jim had it all removed in 4 hrs. I was so pleased with the work, the cleanup and the professionalism that I decided to hire them again to paint the room. Initially my plan was to paint the room myself. Well, they just completed the painting and the room looks great! I am very pleased. They were very good at responding to emails, and answering any questions I had. They also were accommodating with my time frame and schedule. I will definitely be using them again!!

We found the painter we'll use for all of our needs! Drake Painting was great from first contact through the completion of the job. We had them paint the cedar exterior of our house as well as a few other exterior items. The crew led by the forman, Todd, were great. They took extra special attention to detail and took notice of areas that needed proactive solutions and took care of those. On time, professional, great clean-up and our house looks great! Absolutely top notch job! The price was in the upper middle range of quotes we received. We felt very good picking Drake due to solid reviews on Angie's List and the quick response of Dan. From there the crew continued to exceed expectations. Great experience! Thanks Drake!

Well.... I've no experience with grass cloth wall paper. The cost of the paper is pretty steep at over $100 a single roll. So we decided to find a professional to do the install. They were awesome!!! They got back to me right away and gave me an estimate very quickly. (and I might add, the final cost matched the estimate) Not only did they install when promised but they did an amazing job!!!! Grass Cloth is so difficult, because the seams will show - but I am having trouble finding the seams! I just can't thank them enough for helping me with this project! The next time I need painting done, I'll be reaching out to them FIRST!!!

Mark did a great job. He showed up on time and spent the majority of the day working on painting various parts of the hosue. He worked very efficiently and got all of the projects done that we wanted. The house looks great.

The two painters did a thorough, clean job. They alerted me to some wood trim that will need to be replaced in a year or so. They were polite and responsive to my requests.
