Excellent!!! While searching for a reliable company to perform these services, we could not help but be impressed by the stellar ratings Mike Blou and his company, AAA Arborist Tree Experts, had received on Angies List...And we were not ourselves disappointed! Mike returned our initial inquiry call within the hour after we left a message; arranged to meet us personally to view our property the very next day; gave us a fair price quote; and promptly arrived with his team at our home within but a few days thereafter to complete the job! Everyone was professional, friendly, and exceptionally efficient.....all a pleasure to work with! But perhaps what most impressed us was Mike's personal attention to our needs and concerns with his most pleasing demeanor & apparent expertise, instilling a confidence that all was going to be done perfectly. (He is very likeable & very knowledgeable, taking pride in his craft!)... As a bonus, he mentioned that his brother, a landscaper, can also help us select trees to replace the ones we had removed, so we are looking forward to having both of them once again beautify our landscape in the Spring! Mike Blou (owner) was great. He called back within hours of my initial call. He showed up, as promised, the next day for the estimate. He called me, immediately, with the estimate. His pricing was completely fair, and within the ranges of other estimates, so I gave him the approval to proceed. He showed up the very next day to perform the work. Quickly. Efficiently. Professionally. We had two Silver Maples in our front yard that were in dire need of trimming. Mike's staff went to it and within a couple of hours everything was done...including a great cleanup. He even took a look at another tree in the backyard and gave us a quote to remove it (tree + stump). We'll probably have him remove this tree next summer. My wife also complained about lots of bugs crawling in and out of the base of one of the Silver Maples. He inserted a couple of bug-be-gones in the base of the tree, telling my wife it would be another $40 - which she approved. However - when she wrote the check for him she forgot...and wrote the check for the originally quoted $500. When she handed Mike the check he noticed that the $40 was missing but told her - "just give me $20 in cash and we'll call it even". He could have made her tear up the check and write another one...but he didn't. She only had $20 in her purse so he just accepted the $20 and told her to just tell people how happy she was with his service. I WILL use Mike again - to remove the tree in the backyard, and I will use him in the future for all other tree work (future trimming, etc.). I would HIGHLY recommend Mike and his company to anybody requiring the types of services his firm offers.

Mike Blow is the owner. I've used them before. Mike really understands trees and knows the right time to cut and how to cut trees. When we used them a few years ago he walked around the yard and wanted to know who cut the neighbor's tree. He said that it was cut wrong and it was going to die. Sure enough that tree is dead now. He is a personable guy and he is fair with the pricing. He works quickly and shows up when he says he will show up. They always do a great job. I will absolutely continue to use them.

Overall, it went well. Their response was fast, and they were reasonably priced. I would recommend them to others. I would use them again in the future.

Quality of work was excellent, but the work ended up getting done about a month after it was originally supposed to get done- the owner re-scheduled three times and was hard to get a hold of.

They were an expertise. They were the cheapest out of the three companies that I had called. They were good. They cleaned up.

Great work, courteous workers, available owner who came and checked with us during the job. They moved the outdoor furniture and little kids house out of the way to avoid damage. Cleanup was great. We were very happy to have just stumbled on this company since our neighbors were having work done that day. They were great with flexibility - did the work at our house the same day.

The work went very well and was much cheaper (by more than half!) than a similar job my neighbor had done a few weeks before. I store wood for my fireplace, and the guys were happy to split the logs for me as well.

They arrived promptly, and worked efficiently and carefully. They were polite and pleasant and very hard working. Everyone watching was amazed at how they brought down the tall Cottonwood. They ground the stumps into mulch and cleaned up the area completely. The owner was present throughout and answered all my questions honestly. They worked safely. No damage was done to people or property. Neighbors observed the work and 2 of them hired the tree service for projects on their property. I would hire them again.

Mike did such a great job cutting 4 trees on my property that BOTH neighbors, on each side of our property, called him back the following week to trim their trees. When I first called him to explain the situation with my neighbor's elm tree overhanging above my garage he waited a few days for me to actually get permission from the neighbor to trim it down. He did this because while I have every right to cut the tree that violates my airspace, he was going to put his rig on that neighbors property. He showed up Friday, as we agreed, while I was still at work, and trimmed all four trees perfectly. There was zero evidence that he was even there. That's how clean his crew was. He called me when the job was over to explain that the magnolia in the front of the house was trimmed a little bit more than what I might expect, and not to freak out. He was right. He really trimmed that thing. But it was necessary. He saw other problems on that tree that we didn't notice. He didn't butcher it at all (like my landscapers typically do). He actually knows how to trim trees so they keep their natural shape. I can't say enough good things about his work. He came by the house a few days later to pick up payment and double check we were happy, which was awesome. His prices were reasonable, and he kept to his word on the price. I wish all my contractors were as professional as this guy. No question, he gets my business again.

it went well. There was a little of the stump left after the first visit, but i had been hidden by the huge amount of sawdust and woodchips left, so it was understandable. They came out again, no questions asked, and took care of the last little bit very quickly.

Because of a combination of heavy rains over a period of weeks, and road paving/curb repair that completely tore up the streets in my neighborhood, Mike was not able to perform the work until almost 2 weeks after we initially spoke, but that was not his fault. Construction equipment didn't allow him access to the trees. But once he set a date, he arrived as promised, completed the work, phoned me to say he was on-site and again when he was finished. The trees look healthier and prettier than they have in a long time, and the problem branches were removed. There was no mess left behind.

The owner, Michael Blou, thoroughly trimmed it and it was a little shocking at first but it is absolutely perfect. He really did do a good job and the tree is beautiful. He knew what he was doing. It needs to be trimmed again so I need to call him. Their price was very good and that is why I went with them. I did recommend him to my neighbor.

My husband got Mike Blou's name from a co-worker and I went directly to Angie's list to check the company out. They had excellent reviews, so we called him right up! He came right out and gave us an estimate and quickly had them out here to do the job. Everyone was polite and professional and they are good at what they do. The trees we had removed were very close to our house and I didn't worry once during the whole take down that the trees would land on my house. I would not hesitate to call them up again when I need more work done and have been recommending them to my neighbors.

They never called back. I assume it was because they were to far away, they were about 25 miles away from my home.

Our priority at the time was to remove the large dead oak tree that was very close to our house and the next door neighbor's house. We got five other quotes, but Michael Blou's was the lowest and he also offered to come out the next day. He was punctual, courteous and professional. The next morning they came before the appointed time and they made sure that they kept me informed of the progress as I was not present when they started the work. They ended up doing a great job and they stayed until pass 8PM to finish the job. We were very impressed with services provided and as a result we hired them again a week later.

Came on time to do estimate. Cancelled the work a few days in a row due to rain, but the first nice day, he and his crew were there and since he is the arborist, he really was there for 90% of the day and supervised his 4 man crew. They were all there for 5 or more hours---they filled more than one chipper truck. I was happy with the work and the advice he provided. He respectfully asked me questions to make sure he was removing what I wanted removed versus everything. Many buckthorns and other invasive junk trees. He also came back to remove the apparatus from the oaks as he said he would. I am a local Realtor and I always need referrals to great service people. This was the best quote I had received so I had them perform the work. They worked quickly, safely, and completely cleaned the area. In the interest of recycle my neighbors took firewood and mulch! I would definitely recommend them and will definitely use their services again!

I used Angie's List and spoke to about 5 Tree services, 4 of which eventually submitted quotes. I went with AAA because of the great write ups, and I am glad I did. It took a week or two for Mike and I to connect and get me a written quote, but afterwards i was scheduled right away. My job was delayed because of a tree emergency somewhere else, but I didn't mind. The price was good, the service was thorough, and the guys were respectful of the property, too. This is how business should be done. I would not hesitate to recommend AAA, and will certainly use them again in the future.

It went very Nice. Mike and his crew came out and did the job. Very professionally.

Mike is very competitive and willing to listen. He was on the job with his crew and paid attention to details.

They arrived on time and a large crew took down the cable and telephone lines and dropped the power line out of the way, removed the debris, then took down the elm and climbed into my neighbor's eighty foot poplar and my sixty foot mulberry, roped off the overhanging limbs and cut them down section by section safely without damaging any of the lines beneath them. At my request they then stacked the small and medium sized logs for my fireplace, then left mulch from the chipper for my front planting beds. One of the men spread the mulch out for me while I raked the leaves out of the way. They were all very neat, clean, courteous and friendly. They did additional work for my neighbors who saw them here.
