Great job, great customer service, very courteous and efficient

Not sure why Mike has so many good ratings because I would give him 0 stars if I could. He came out to look at a tree for treatment and replacing 2 bushes I was having a problem with. We came up with a solution and a price and I thought there would be no problem. I talked to him on the phone about what the new bushes would be and again no problem. On 9/20 he even sent me a picture of the new boxwood he was getting. I called him numerous times (probably around 10 times) and left messages to call me back to confirm the date for the work but he never returned the calls. When he finally did he told me his mother sprained or broke her ankle. Whether she did or not I don’t know but why he couldn’t take 30 seconds and send me a text or phone call is beyond me. He then told me to call him on Thursday 10/3 or Friday to set up a time on Friday or Saturday to do the work. Left more messages for him on 10/3 and never heard from him again. Thought maybe he would show up for the work on Friday or Saturday like he said he would but nothing, not even a call or text. Because of his irresponsibility I lost over 2 weeks of getting the tree treated and replacing the 2 bushes. I don’t understand how anyone could still be in business after treating people the way he does. If he’d like to respond to this rating, I’d love to hear his excuses.

Mike Blou is professional, friendly, fast, knowledgeable, affordable, and willing to point out additional tree related needs on your property that you might not have been previously aware of (e.g., he found a tree I didn't notice growing behind a bush right next to an electrical box in our yard, that really needed to go). Have used his services several times and highly recommend him.

Michael and his team did a great job taking down our very large black walnut tree. Very professional work and Michael is right there side by side with his guys. You don't see that much anymore. I will likely hire them again when our other old growth trees need care.

I own a large suburban lot in Deer Park, IL with lots of trees and have hired Mike and his crew from AAA Arborist Tree Experts for three major projects over the past few years. I've had nothing but excellent service from him! He's friendly, knowledgeable, keeps his word and delivers high quality. The most difficult project was removing a VERY LARGE willow that overhung my house. It had weak limbs and I knew it would cause problems for me if not removed. Mike's crew removed the willow safely at a fair price. I was impressed. The other two projects were clearing buckthorn and diseased trees (while leaving more desirable species) in various areas of my lot. In both cases Mike and his crew did a great job and I was extremely pleased with the result. When ever I need tree service, Mike is the guy I call!

Responded quickly with a free quote and was scheduled for service with a tight time frame. Arrived on time, moved patio furniture, trimmed and fertilized a large tree, cleaned up, and replaced the furniture. Communication was great and the price was right. Even did a job for my elderly neighbor on the spot. Would definitely hire again!!

Michael and his crew came onsite first thing in the morning to remove two 40+ foot trees from my backyard that were damaged during a snow storm. Very punctual and he was onsite during the whole job with his crew. Communication was great and even helped cleanup damage to my neighbor's yard that my tree damaged. He provided trimming as well to my other mature trees and shrubs. Would definitely use them for future jobs.

We had Michael and his crew out to remove a large dead oak tree, and trim a maple tree on the sides of our house. After submitting a request for estimate, Michael was there the next afternoon to quote. He was very accommodating of my hectic schedule and was in contact quite often as we neared the removal date (as it had been quite windy and rainy the few days prior). Our tree was in a very tight spot; very close to our house/windows, gas meter, overhanging the roof, so I was nervous about the removal. Once Mike and his team set up and started going, I was completely at ease - every necessary step to insure my house/yard, my neighbors house and landscaping, etc. was taken. The trees were removed safely and efficiently and not only did they clean the yard, one of the guys was on the roof blowing all the debris off the roof and out of the gutters. It's the little things like that that set Mike's crew apart from others. I would recommend him to anyone and will have him out again for future services. Another thing that I particularly liked, is that Mike is an arborist first - he wants to take care of or save the tree if possible, before just taking it down - he really cares and knows what he's doing.

Michael is very friendly and professional. He offered us very reasonable price compared to other companies. He stayed on site for the entire project and communicated with us whenever needed to make sure we were fine with what they did. When I asked him a favor to do extra small work. He did it for us without extra charge. And his crew members are very nice too. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and use their service next time.

A pleasure to work with from start to finish! Owner Mike Blou replied promptly, quoted a very reasonable price, answered all my questions, followed up on a glitch in getting JULIE to mark the location of buried utility lines, and scheduled the work promptly. He remained on site, helping out with the work, for the entire project. The whole crew was pleasant, hard working, and competent. The feller was experienced and did a great job roping tree sections down and minimizing damage to our roof, lawn, and plantings. The stump was ground down the same day and the yard left neat. Mike asked if I wanted the stump grindings left as mulch or taken away, and I chose to keep them for my garden. The tree sections were sold for firewood, reducing the cost to us and putting the old tree to good use.

It was a small job, to cut down a single tree next to house. But it was tall and leaning towards house, and had a limited area to safely fall, so beyond my skill level. They did it quickly and correctly, tree came done exactly where it needed to be.

Mike is very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. He gave me some great advice on how to best care for the trees on my property going forward and he and his team were prompt, efficient, and left my property better looking than when they arrived.

Michael was fantastic. He was great at communicating and called me back in a timely manor after I contacted the company. He took his time when he stopped over for the quote and explained what he would do and why. He answered every question and his work crew was very polite, friendly and fast. I would highly recommend hiring them for any of your tree servicing needs.

During a recent overnight storm, a medium sized tree in my back yard was blown over hitting the ground between my home and my neighbor’s home. Parts of the tree were resting on my roof and on my neighbor’s roof. Of course I wanted to get this issue resolved quickly and without incurring any further damage. The next afternoon I called AAA Arborist Tree Experts. The phone was answered promptly and I was told that Mike (the owner) would get back to me shortly. Mike called me back within 30 minutes. I described the situation and he said he would be there within the hour. True to his word, he showed up less than an hour later. He said that his crew would have to take special care to avoid doing damage to the two homes while cutting up the tree. He gave me an estimate - which I accepted. Mike and his crew arrived early the next morning. Within 90 minutes the tree was dissected and feed through a wood chipper. There was no damage to my neighbors home and because of their careful work, there was no further damage to my home. Part of the job was to grind down the tree stump. However the ground was too wet to do that when they came to remove the tree. They said they would return after the ground had time to dry. I was a little skeptical about whether they would return without me having to call them. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up, on their own, to finish the job! Mike and his crew did a great job! They proved to be reliable, competent and easy to deal with. Plus, they were able to get the issue resolved QUICKLY.

I have two large, old Sugar Maples, a Sycamore Tree, and a Washington Hawthorn bush that needed a lot of pruning. The AAA crew of four guys did a great job, using a bucket truck to prune the front yard maple, and ladders and ropes to prune the fenced in backyard Maple and Sycamore tree and the Hawthorn bush. They arrived on time, Mike explained what needed to be done, and discussed any points where I needed clarification. They had professional trucks and equipment and their crew seemed to be well trained. They were clearly following a safety protocol. It took them about two hours to complete the job, including an excellent clean-up of all the pruned branches. Mike also gave me some tips for the future that might improve the longevity and beauty of the trees and shrubs in my yard. I am fully satisfied and will use them again in 5-7 years when I need pruning again.

Mike was great. Came out and gave a fair estimate. I compared with others and his was right in line. Day before he called to check on coming out and confirmed. On the day, he was running a little late, but called to let me know. Him and his crew showed up and reviewed what needed to be removed and took care of it all. Mike ran the stump grinder and got all the stumps removed for us after removing the trees/shrubs. Clean up was great and he gave advice on how to handle the ground with adding additional soil so we don't have dips/hollows in the lawn/garden beds. I would recommend MIke and his team as they were professional and got the job done for a fair price.

Michael and his team are great to deal with! AAA has done tree pruning and removal for me several times throughout the years, and I've been very happy with their service every time! I'd highly recommend them!

10/10. Incredible quality and turnaround time. Michael from AAA Arborist came for an estimate the same day of contact and got the job done the next morning. We just moved to a new home and discovered an undisclosed squirrel next in our attic. Pest control identified the trees as the main thoroughfare of the squirrels. Michael recognized our emergency and took immediate action. There's a different tree company well reviewed in Angie's List that I wasted 2 weeks on prior and would avoid. I called Rivera 3-5 times. left VMs. Spoke w/ admin. They didn't provide me with the estimate as promised, until i followed up 1-2 times. Then when it finally came to schedule, they were a week out. I was never given an opportunity to speak with the estimator. If you're like me and looking up a tree trimmer on Angie's list, just call AAA Arborist 1st.

Michael and his team were incredibly punctual, quick, responsive, communicative, fairly priced and thorough with all their work. Outstanding work from the first phone call to their drive off!!!!

Call AAA Arborist Tree Experts to have a large crab apple tree removed from the side of my home. Spoke with Micheal and he came out the same day for an estimate. He recommended that the tree be removed. He was very professional and provided several options for what we can do. He explained in detail the process and next steps. We scheduled time to come out the next day and remove the tree. He and his team took care of the existing plants and finished the job in about an hour. They also cleaned up well after the tree was removed. I will be reaching out to them the next time there is an issue with any of the trees in my yard.

Mike from AAA Arborist Tree Experts did a great job removing a very large willow tree in a tight spot near my house. Prices are in line with other contractors and quality of work was excellent. Despite the difficult conditions, there was not a scratch on my house. Would definitely hire again!

Wonderful. Michael and his team were professional. Cleaned up work site. Even cleaned my gutter where tree was. Couldn’t of asked for a better job. Would hire again 😃
