It went pretty well, but they left two of the roots in the ground.

When I first called for an estimate, the person who answered said she would call Mike and give him the message and he would contact me. Five minutes later our phone rang; it was Mike. He said he'd come out the next day for a look and he did; right on time. After giving me a price for the removal, we set up for him to come out the next week and do the job. I spoke to him on Monday and he said he'd be out on Thursday. He called back on Tues. and said they had finished early on the job and would be out on Wed. if that was okay. He arrived promptly and his crew went to work.....45 minutes later the bushes and tree was gone and his crew cleaned up the whole area. I couldn't be happier with their work! Mike was a pleasure to work with. I cannot think of any reason why anyone wouldn't hire his company for tree/shrub removal.

From the beginning until the end our experience working with Michael was great. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and was very accommodating to our schedule. He was always willing to meet when it was convenient for us. The quality of his work speaks for itself. He did exactly what he said he would do and more and made sure to clean up afterwards. Mike did a great job. He and his cfrew trimmed the three trees exactly as I wanted it done. He took out the dead tree with no problem. They were very friendly the entire time, kept asking how I wanted the trimmng done, and cleaned everything up just great. He came right on time and fit my job in quickly even though he was very busy due to recent storms in the area. He did a smalljob for a friend the following week and they were also very happy with him. We both plan to use him again.

Mike Blou, the owner of AAA Arborist Tree Experts, responded quickly to my call, and came out quickly to view the trees and give an estimate. He was professional and knowledgeable, and gave us advice on trimming another tree--telling us to wait until fall, which was the best time to trim that particular tree. His quote was reasonable, and we hired him. The work required temporarily removing the fence behind our house; since that fence belongs to our neighbor, we were concerned that it be put back properly. Mike and his team came out when scheduled--on one of the hottest days of the year--and did the job exactly as he stated they would. The neighbor's fence was put back, and the neighbor in fact hired Mike to also trim some branches on his property the same day. I will definitely hire Mike again when I need tree work, and I highly recommend him.

I did not use this provider. The cost shown above was the estimate for the stump removal which I found reasonable. I was given a vague Friday or Saturday completion of the work. Stayed home on a Saturday waiting. No show and no call from the company. Called them again on the following Tuesday and spoke with the woman who answered. She said I would be contacted to schedule and never was. I guess they were too busy for a small job, but some communication would have been appropriate. The grades on professionalism and responsiveness would have been an F but they did answer the phones and I was visited for a quote. A positive is that they are friendly, so I somewhat regret this review, but it does reflect the facts.

Michael responded quickly to my request for a work estimate. The tree removal was done on schedule, his crew was professional and the clean-up was done very well.

They were on time and got started very quickly. Took about two hours start to finish. The yard looks clean and the remaining trees got a much needed makeover. The guys were very polite and friendly. Michael runs a very efficient crew.

Michael came out to visit our property and provide an estimate within a few days of the intial call. He walked the entire property, examined every tree and asked what I wanted done with each problem he found. He supported the desire to use a conservative approach and treat trees which might recover as opposed to recommending that they be removed. He was willing to give his opinion when asked, but respected my decisions. He made suggestions along the way, and it was clear that he was highly knowledgable and experienced. At the end of the inspection (about 1/2 hour), he gave me a verbal estimate and we agreed to proceed. He called within a couple days with a possible date within the time I specified. On the scheduled day, he called early in the day to let me know that he was removing another tree nearby, and give me an idea when to expect him. Michael and a team of 4 men arrived at the time he estimated and immediately got to work. They were thorough, and skilled and clearly worked well together. Michael continually checked in with me giving me his observations and suggestions and asked how I wanted to proceed. He noticed that two bushes had become overgrown and volunteered to trim them back from the house. He volunteered to clean the gutters for no additional charge, which I declined because I had scheduled to have another company come a few days later. While trimming the trees, he noticed one additional ash tree which was affected in addition to the two he saw when he came out for the estimate. In addition, one of the maple trees was visibly stressed, but Michael could see that it was leafing out and thought that it might survive and suggested giving it an extra boost with fertilizer. He had his tree trimmer install a rope for a swing and gave me a length rope which he no longer needed. The entire crew was polite and respectful throughout the entire service. When they were almost done, I realized that some of the limbs would make excellent firewood. Michael had one of the crew members cut and neatly stack the wood when I requested. All of this was done at no extra charge. Michael came a couple of days later to make sure that the nemacide and fertilizer had been absorbed by the trees and removed the applicators. He told me that the trees had never been trimmed and estimated that they would not need another trimming for about 8 to 10 years. He thought that only a two man crew would be needed at that time. I would not hesitate to use his company again when the trees need another trimming - in 8 to 10 years!

I called to get an estimate and Mike came out that same afternoon. His crew showed up exactly at the scheduled time, did the work I wanted (asking me as they proceeded how I wanted the trees trimmed). They worked efficiently and cleaned up everything when they were finished. Mike gave me advice on how to dean with the area where the front yard tree stump had been. I couldn't be happier their work and would certainly use them again.

Called Mike and he returned the call the same day and came over that evening. Mike made recommendations based on his expertise of tree care and I felt very comfortable with his analysis of my Maple. We set up a time and he was on time with his crew. Mike and his staff got right to work and a little over 2 hrs later it was done. The tree looked fantastic. The yard was cleaned up like they were never there. Mike even did some pruning of 2 other smaller trees in my yard at no charge. Honest work, very knowledgeable in his field and a good price...you can't go wrong with these guys!!

The work was done according to plan. The work had to be held off until the cold weather lessened. The crew came on time and the job was finished in a couple hours. Michael Blou had called me during the time that we were waiting for the weather to improve. I asked him if he was going to drop off the cost estimate and certificate of insurance. He said he would but never did. When the job was done I gave him a check made out to the company, "AAA Arborist Tree Experts". Michael insisted the the check be made out to Michael Blou.

Cheapest rate, quickest response, AAAAAA+++++ I called a few people, these guys returned my calls immediately, got out to give the quickest bid and beat the competitors by a lot. By the time another company got around to giving me an estimate, AAA had already come out and done the job.. lol! While they were here, I had a few other things done, and I wish i would have done more. They were fast, worked with my schedule, were friendly, respectful and cleaned up completely - I am VERY pleased. I just restored a vintage property and this was one of the best experiences of all the companies I worked with. I will use them again, they're GREAT!

Work was performed at the time and day as discussed. The were very punctual. Mr. Michael Blou was here on time with his crew. They removed the tree, cleaned up all branches, grinded the stump deep down. Not just a just below the surface. They really grinded deep. Very pleased with their work, clean up. No complaints. Definitely would use them again. Top notch. On top of all work performed, I noticed afterwards, they even "took" the Christmas tree I had laying by the curb for the garbage collection. Very nice gesture.

In the beginning, I had a little trouble getting the estimate, but the cost saving was well worth it. Michael came and gave the estimate. Then we scheduled the tree removal. The team arrived on time and removed the tree fast. I paid a lot less than what other company wanted to charge. I will use Michael again.

AAA's price was far less expensive than the other services we got estimates from, and in general they did a good job. The trees were removed safely. But when they couldn't cut one of them down to ground level due to nails in the wood, the offered to grind the 4 foot high stump. I didn't expect that they'd leave a massive pile of mulch all over the bushes in that area, killing them all. And it's a nightmare trying to get the mulch out, because it's all mixed in with undergrowth. That said, they saved me $700 over the next lowest quote. I'd use them again, but I'll make sure to be very careful with what I ask for.

Michael was very responsive and accomadating with my preferred schedule for the work. Wants to make the customer happy.

Experience was very good. they saved the tree I b elieve -- this was done at a house I own and my daughter lives in.

First, I was very impressed with the customer service provided by Michael. A lot of serivce providers don't even return a phone call today, but when I placed my first call to him, and he was not available, within 5 minutes I received a call back. And after that initial call, if he was not available, he always returned my call promptly. We set up an appointment for him to view what needed to be done, he toured the property and then gave me a fair price. Upon meeting him, I could sense he knew what he was doing. On the day the job was scheduled, Michael and his crew showed up on time, were respectful of our property, and were courteous and understanding of my needs. They did a beautiful job in pruning (and I'm extremely fussy) and the tree removal went well. When I needed some minor additional work done a week later , I called Michael and he was there within 24 hours to accomodate my immediate needs.. You can count on Michael and his crew to do a great job. Michael is honest, he's a pro, and he's always there for his customer. You won't be disappointed if you hire him.

Called Mike on Monday 9/3/12 and he was out the same day to bid on the job. Fair price - competitive with other bids. Not the cheapest but reasonable and his overall knowledge and demeanor convinced us to hire him. He brought along a friendly, competent staff and he had all the necessary equipment to do the job in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to watch them work together like a well oiled machine. We are very pleased. Very professional. Mike Blou oversaw the entire process from start to finish and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Mike answered all our questions knowledgeably and we feel he is trustworthy. We know that we can call him and he will be of assistance if needed. We have already given out his business card to our neighbor who asked about him. Highly recommend!

He asked me many times if we were happy with the job and if there was anything else we wanted them to do. They were very accommodating and courteous. They did a great job at a very reasonable price. We were very satisfied with their work.
