Freeman Fence

Description of Work: I had a large portion of my stockade fence replaced. The person who gave the estimate seemed professional, answered my questions and made me think that the job would get done properly. In describing the job, I explained how some excavation (digging) would be necessary in order to make one section of the fence meet the grade of the yard, and how that was expected. Because the crew obviously did not get this message, they simply cut the fence short and built it on top of about 12 inches of accumulated dirt, rocks, etc...Furthermore, after the crew left, I spent about an hour cleaning up after them. That's not what I had in mind for $3200. The problem here is that the estimator is not giving explicit instructions to the crew and the crew receives no supervision while working.

Description of Work: I would highly recommend anyone who may wish to contract with them for services. They constructed a 6 foot fence in below zero weather for me in which I was very pleased with.

Description of Work: Freeman Fence was the only company I was able to find that would stain my fence a specific color, they did it - installed it, was very pleased. A year later I had some issues with a chain link fence, original to the property. Freeman came out, looked it over, made the necessary adjustments so the fence was workable - and did not charge me. Exceptional service

Description of Work: I found them very friendly, efficient, and experienced. Very "hometown" in an urban area. Of all the fence companies I called to get an estimate, they were the only one who called me back. Our fence was installed during a busy time of the year. They were very straight forward about scheduling and what we had to do to prepare for the installation, cost, and warrantees. A representative came out to measure, discuss and explain what the gates would be like and direction they would swing, what the caps on the posts would be, and we discussed other types of wooden fences they install. The installation guys were here on time/when expected. They were swift in demolition of the old fence, and very efficient in digging the fence post holes and installing the posts. The lead explained how many days it would be before they come back to install the fence. I was pleased with the overall installation process and the hard work and diligence of the workers. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very careful of my gardens as long as I showed them what to watch out for. Even the neighbor's plants were spared destruction by a worker. I would recommend Freeman Fence.
