I Went great

Good and quick service.

Very well, paid what I asked for.

Upon turning on our furnace for the first time this year, no heat came on. A very nice technician came to our home the same morning of our call. After diagnosing the problem as a problem with the pressure switch, the technician got the furnace running. He went on to test the pressure switch several times. On the 5th or 6th test, the switch failed again so he suggested it be replaced. He left to see if he had the part in stock. The part was available and he returned later that same morning to complete the work. The technician was very nice, appeared to do a nice job and was quick.

Technician George arrived within the stated time, called ahead. Checked various connections and thermostat. Although the fan was working, the furnace equipped with auto pilot would not start up. Determined that power was not coming out of main timing circuit board. Stated that he would have to check at the main office for replacement. Called later the same day that the various sources did not have board in stock. Called back a few days later when part located. Set up appt for first thing in the morning, George again arrived promptly. Board replaced, still furnace did not start. Suggested replacement of "smart valve" assembly, which also has circuit board inside. George found out that he would have to travel up to north side of Chicago to get the part, which he did, and came back later in the day. Assembly replaced, and furnace now working. Parts alone cost well over $900, however Able gave me a discount on the parts and only charged me for the initial service call.

Able Heating & Cooling Inc is very prompt and responsive. They always return calls and try to accommodate to your schedule. I've used them for many years and have always sworn by their work. I don't remember the price of this, but from my experience with this contractor, I know it was a very fair one.

Able temporary fixed my broiler immediately before they just offered to replace the broiler. They gave me that option. They also gave me options for replacing the broiler. They cleaned up after work was completed, and also were very responsive.

Jim was pleasant, quick, courteous, and thorough. We appreciated the service.

Jim was courteous, professional, & efficient. He explained what he was doing, cleaned up after himself, & made a final check for any gas leaks. I was very pleased with the service & will use the company in the future.

They are very responsive to calls and prompt to arrive. They've always been very good about being timely. They are very nice people to work with and very accommodating.

VERY QUICK SERVICE, JOHN WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO TRACK DOWN A MOTOR OVER THE WEEKEND SO THAT I WOULDN'T FREEZE TO DEATH. THEY CAME OUT ON ''OFF'' HOURS WITHOUT CHARGING ADDITIONAL FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE.

CAME OUT IN JUNE TO SERVICE AC UNIT. IT WAS DURING OUR FIRST HEAT SPELL AND SINCE IT WAS ONLY FOR MAINTENANCE, THEY COULD NOT GET TO ME FOR A COUPLE WEEKS-NO PROBLEM. DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF CLEANING UP OUR A/C UNIT. WOULD DEFINITELY CALL AGAIN.

AS USUAL, IT WAS AN EMERGENCY CALL ON A SUNDAY, AND THEY WERE REMARKABLY PROMPT. TESTED THE OLD UNIT, AND DETERMINED IT TO BE DEAD (SHOWED ME HOW DEAD IT WAS IN EXCRUCIATING DETAIL). REPAIR WAS ALMOST AS MUCH AS REPLACEMENT, AND AFTER CHECKING WAREHOUSE FOUND THE AMERISTAR CONDENSER IN STOCK. RETURNED WITHIN AN HOUR, REPLACED CONDENSER, HOOKED ALL CONNECTIONS BACK UP, AND AWAY THEY WENT. THEY WERE COURTEOUS, THOROUGH, ALTHOUGH MAYBE A LITTLE ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES.

VERY PROFESSIONAL OVER THE PHONE. CAME AS QUICKLY AS THEY COULD, DEPENDING ON THEIR SCHEDULE AND WEATHER, WITHIN 4 DAYS. SMARTLY USED A CELL PHONE TO FIND THE HOUSE. QUICKLY STARTED AND FINISHED. REMEMBERED THE HISTORY OF THE UNIT. OFFERED ME CREDIT FOR COUPONS, OFFERING ME THE SAVINGS!

TECHNICIAN LEFT SCREWS OFF AIR CONDITIONER AND FAILED TO IDENTIFY A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THE UNIT; WOULD NOT TRUST THIS INDIVIDUAL TO DO ANY WORK IN THE FUTURE.

IT IS A REAL SHAME THAT THEY DIDN''T FOLLOW UP - THEY WERE GREAT AT DESCRIBING THINGS - WE WERE READY TO HIRE THEM...
